Everything was great, except when I went to add the photos, to the returned condition section of the return portion of the app, I was adding photos, and was kicked out of the app. When I went back into the app, there was no way to get back into the portion to add photos, nor any rentals showing up on my current, or History section. It showed up again the day after, but it was unnerving to return expensive equipment, without proper return steps being taken.

We rented a pickup. It was very new; only 3600 miles. Our call was taken promptly. The woman who took our call was friendly, and communicated clearly. We were not told about the mandatory insurance coverage for pick ups and vans, until we arrived in person, but it was only an $11 issue. It was still a great price for a daily truck rental. We returned it after hours and could not find the address of this particular location as an option on the app. However, a friendly gentleman that just walked out and locked up the place reassured us that he would check the truck in for us. He did so, and that capped of a good experience for us.

We arrived and completed our check in online right on time. Then went to get the keys and the door was locked. We then had to wait 40 minutes for the man to return to get the keys which cut into our rental time and inconvenienced us. I am very disappointed in this service.

U-Haul should have more complete and more accurate information about the load floor and tail gate dimensions of their trailers. I saw the only dimensions were 6x12 with 74 inch wide load floor. It wouldn’t allow me to load my 72 inch mower deck through the tailgate opening which was about a half inch too narrow, less than 72 inches wide. This renders the load floor dimension irrelevant when you can’t load any cargo if that cargo is 72 inches wide.

I wasn't even supposed to pick up here, it was supposed to be in Bryan Ohio. So then because of the scheduling mistake it costed me hundreds of extra dollars in gas and mileage. Then when I got there I had to wait over an hour becuase they didn't have my truck at all, and ended up giving me a different one. But it took almost 1.5 hours to get it signed in and then signed back out to me.

Man acted like he was on drugs and was behaving erratically and said he didn't clean it out yet and he hopes it isn't bad. I also feel like I got charged far more than I should have.

I was guaranteed the 15 ft truck at this location however upon arrival I was informed that it had not been returned and they gave me the 20ft truck instead. I brought up the $50 guarantee and was told they couldn’t honor it. Then the truck they gave me had several problems. The driver door would not shut properly, the engine would not shift gears properly, and the highest speed I could get up to was 45mph. I picked up this truck at 3:03pm on Saturday and returned it at 2:40pm on Sunday but when we showed up to return it there were no employees around and when one did finally turn up, at 2:54pm he said he would email me the receipt. I confirmed with him at that time that I would only be charged for the one day usage instead of two days, however upon receiving the final receipt this was not the case as he waited to check in the rental and charged me for a second day. Zero star rating. Would never rent a truck from this location ever again. Also when I tried to pay them in cash they refused and said it was better for them to only take card. I had reserved online and provided my card for the reservation and was informed I could pay cash when I got there. Again not the case, they refused to accept cash as a payment. Horrible business

I have rented twice from Fort Wayne Auto Connection. Awesome people, awesome service, great equipment. Will be my "go to" when I need a truck or trailer.

Trucks should be in better condition, and the app didn’t tell me they were still open for me to get the keys, and their sign did not say open so I had to call and ask where the keys were only to be told “oh they’re open just walk inside.” The gentleman managing the location was extremely helpful and nice, kudos to him, but the app is awful and glitchy and their 1-800 customer support were rude and unhelpful.

The vehicle that was given to us for a rental was absolutely not road-worthy. The tires were completely bald, and the brakes continuously squealed. The vehicle needed an alignment, and the gauges on the dashboard did not work. A/C did not work and numerous noises could not be identified. Side skirts of the vehicle were completely destroyed only holding on by what looked like some kind of glue. Inside of cargo area had blood splatter on it like there had been a fatal accident. Absolutely the worst U-haul experience ever.

truck was very damaged dolly wouldn't hook was told being late returning wasnt an issue since it took so long to get situated after we arrived but was charged extra day. Truck wasnt checked in until the next day. Never again

The whole process was quick and easy!! I called, let her know what I was moving, she told me the best thing to rent was, so I did and it was perfect!! The guys hooked it up for us... we moved what we needed to, then returned the trailer which was around 8:30pm. The next day I received a statement showing the transaction!!
