There is a $30 fee if a truck is returned below 1/4 tank. There is already a convenience fee of roughly $7 per gallon of gas if you return it without filling it up yourself. My truck was given to me with almost exactly 1/4 gallon and I was uncomfortable taking the 26 footer through either of the small gas stations in my area, so I returned it (after a 30 mile trip put it JUST below 1/4 tank) expecting to just pay the $7/gallon for a couple of gallons to return to my original place, but I received the $30 fee for returning it below 1/4 tank. I feel that it was unfair to loan me a truck with 0 margin for error in regards to the tank capacity. Trucks should not be able to be taken out when the tank is below 1/2 tank.Daniel S.

Don't lie to your customers!!! Charged me for gas when you specifically said to return with what was in the truck when I picked it up! Paid $180 to drive 30 miles. Had to pick up in a different city because they messed up my reservation. Called customer service and all 4 people I talked to gave me the run around, no one helped me and everyone wasted my time and money! Worst moving experience I've had! Never will use again!Jessika M.

Had it set up to pick truck up at 7 am. Received call from corporate saying it would not be available. Was offered a bigger truck. Refused it, did not need one that size. Went to uhaul office when they opened and got the right sized truck.SHELLY G.

When I got there somehow my reservation was canceled don't know how they don't know how it was canceled but they made it right by renting me me the truck that I requested at that timeCHAD P.
The fee says 19.95 A DAY. I missed my projected drop off time(that was auto selected on the mobile pickup)and was charged an additional day. Somehow I had the truck for 10 hours and was charged for 48hrs!?!? Also the mileage and the gas was off on pickup, but the mobile app allowed me to correct it. I've used U-haul dozens of times and this is my first poor experience. Very unhappy with the projected time on the mobile pickup costing me an extra day.Daniel T.
Dolly broke off our Rv.. agent did not know how to install it but was very nice. However fell off in Texas middle of hwy and the roadside assistance was a joke. A passer by stoped to help. Joke joke! Horrible. Roadside told us to get online then 20 min call later then 90 minute wait. While traffic backed up.GLORIA M.

Tell corporate or regional to stay out of the transaction. I called and CONFIRMED the car "DOLLY" with the location of pick-up. Then within the same day, I received a call telling me that their was not a "AUTO TRANSPORT" available within a 45mi radius. I told her that was ok because I did not want a trailer only the "DOLLY". She again said their was not an auto transport available for the day of rental. So I asked her what the confusion was because I did not reserve an auto transport. She apologized for the confusion and hung up. When I arrived to pick up the "DOLLY" it took over an hour to confirm and correct the reservation because someone from UHAUL had reserved me for both a car "DOLLY" and Auto Transport trailer and UHAUL wanted to charge me over $100 dollars. Then when the the confirmation was again confirmed it would not allow the system to let us select the correct vehicles because the vehicle doing the towing was older than 10 years old. Come on UHAUL get your shit together. You are making it so difficult to rent equipment because you are trying to make it dummy proof and you have gone too far. Put in a clause that says user is responsible for any mis information and UHAUL is not responsible for negligence and be done with all of the selecting crap. You could even have the customer provide proof of insurance. 99% of the time your insurance with insure whats being towed. I will not go through UHAUL again if it can be avoided. You wasted an hour of my time because of your website. Fire your designer and get rid of all the options. KEEP IT SIMPLE!!! ---------------------------- P1)What do you want? P2)A car DOLLY. Shawn was great! I was assigned this location and unfortunately they didn't open until 10am. The original place I requested opened at 7:30am. It would've been nice to receive my equipment a lot earlier. The inside of the truck also smelled like someone had left a pair of wet shoes in it for a week. It was nice to smell that for a 16 hour drive....not. That wasn't the locations fault though.Austin F.
Worst experience I've EVER had with U-Haul!! The office was locked during business hours, no response to numerous phone calls/voicemails left. Sadly I left my glasses inside the truck when I returned it, was UNABLE to reach attendant over 4 phone calls. I drove to the office around 5 to try to retrieve my glasses, again the office was locked up tight, the Open Sign was lite up and hours were posted, closing time 7 pm, yet no one was on site. I will be going back again today in an attempt to locate my glasses. The whole experience with this location has been awfulSANDY R.
I intentionally scheduled to pick up the truck during business hours so I could deal with a person and not an app. I got a call an hour before my pick up time telling me nobody would be there and I needed to use the app. The pick up wasn't horrible, but not ideal. The drop off was terrible since the directions in the app did not address what to do with the key and did not provide the password for the lock box which had a padlock on it. I tried to call the location and got VM. I searched all the emails and texts and the app for the passcode and found nothing. It mentioned a passcode on the pick up instructions but I didn't pay attention to it since the key was in an UNLOCKED box which is the same unlocked box that I returned it to since I didn't have the passcode and left a message on the VM for the location.Kristie M.

The key return after hours was cumbersome because I couldn't find the return app posted on the key drop box. I was able to drop the keys in the box through the hinge opening. Other than that it was all good.PATRICK M.
