This location is usually my top pick, even if I have to drive past another location or 2. The employees, manager, and owner is always super friendly and happy to help me out to the best of their ability. I had my 2 year old with me to pick up a trailer this time and he was asleep so the owner did his best to accommodate me to the best of his ability to get me in and out so the kiddo wouldn't wake up, and always makes sure I'm able to get out okay without any help. I'm a beginner trailer puller so some trailers are a bit harder for me to maneuver out and they have always done well at helping me get out to the best of their ability too! Highly recommend choosing this location as your go to.Shyanne W.

The guys working told us we can take the U-Haul back to another location and when we did that location said we have to take it back to where we gotten it.We we're a hour late and got charged $176 I will never use uhaul ever again.the staff was very inexperienced.lack of information.very disappointed....DONNELL M.

I called and asked if I could drop off at any uhaul location and they were very quick to tell me absolutely. They said nothing of the 200! Dollar service fee. If I'd have known it was going to cost more than the rental itself to drop off at a location 10 minutes away from the original drop off location I would have just gone the extra few miles.Devon M.

What a Fantastic Scam ! Everything cost twice as much as it should have. I made a 29-mile trip and returned in 4 hours and was charged $122. Both Dolly and insurance were double-charged; was charged $14 instead of the expected $7. Don't ever visit the Lima Road, Fort Wayne location of U-Haul .Ohm Prakash R.

They do not open till ten, I dropped off the trailer where I thought they wanted it. When I returned the truck no one was there so I called the number and was told just park it and drop the keys. Three other people stopped by to rent but no one there. Could just been the time of day. They have many vehicles so I would recommend them.Gary W.

The online pickup experience was horrible. The live person I was chatting with was not helpful. The vehicle I was assigned was not on the lot, and when I said I couldn't find the vehicle, all of the sudden the vehicle number changed. The lock for the key box was jammed and even after putting the combo in, I couldn't get it open. I assumed the online pickup would be faster, but what should have taken 15minutes max, actually took 50 minutes. Never will I ever use this again. Also the price is kind of crazy, I had the vehicle for 2 hours and 48 minutes and only put about 16 miles on it, but it costs $64. I would not recommend to anyone I care about. Maybe an ex.Brianna W.

The cargo van's driver seat had a rip in it otherwise van seemed clean. The online rental process is a JOKE. The internet connection sucked at the location causing issues completing the online portion. The entire process was a mess. Took way too long to get the rental. The keys were frozen in the lock box so had to wait even longer for the staff to come to the location and retrieve keys for myself and someone else waiting.Rachae P.

Very helpful and friendly. Checked me in and out when the online option did not work (camera would not function) Offered to pick me up when my ride was late. Equipment was old , but worked okay. The check-in process was excessive. I reserved the truck several months ago and found out that morning additional verification was necessary. I could have provided a passport ahead of time to eliminate steps. It took me an additional 45 minutes to get started as movers waited at my house. All verification should be done ahead of time to eliminate miscues the day of rental.Mark V.

They initially assigned a truck to me that was undergoing maintenance and not available for operation. They had a second truck available, but for a while the paperwork was messed up and I only had a rental agreement for the wrong truck. The U-Haul agent was having trouble changing the truck ID on my contract. I eventually received the proper rental agreement by email.Larry M.

When I had initially made my reservation, I reserved a 17' truck. Once I arrived I was informed someone switched the truck to 15'. Since I now had a smaller truck it took more loads back and forth then initially planned for. It's fine that they switched the truck, I get it. I was just hoping for better communication. We waited 2.5 hours for a truck because the one we rented wasn't returned. Was promised a refund of $50 for the wait, it's now a week later and nothing has been returned or deposited back on my card. And I had to call three times in the same week to get it â€œprocessedâ€. Still not 100% certain it's been doneMerida E.

We picked up a 20' foot truck. Got it home and found out it had a flat tire. Called the office and t they told us to take it to the coldwater site and they would fix it. There were two on coldwater. Went to the first one and he tried to help but could not. Went to the other and they said we need to take the truck back and call roadside assistance!!!! Had me driving all over with a flat tire and then told me had to take care of it! Called the first place and loudly complained. He swapped out the truck with a 26'. Had no problems after that. When I rent a truck I expect it to be in working order. I took the roadside assistance in case something happens on our trip, not to repair the problems that already happened that you should take care of!!!! Lost three hours on our time. So when we were late 2 hours at the end of the trip we were charged!!!! Of course we were!Charles A.
It wasn't the location, it was customer service that I had an issue with. I was late picking up my rental and couldn't get any help after 20 minutes with live chat because I was picking up after ther location was closed so I had to cancel my reservation and do another one. I couldn't figure ot how to take the insurance off the bill then it took me a half hour and talking with a live agent to get the key out of the lock box. I emailed customer service the next morning about ak these issues and never got a response! If I didn't need it so bad, I would have walked away. I will probably never rent fron Uhaul again.Christel D.

I was told I would be able to pay cash when I brought the truck back. Since I had to use a friends card number to â€œholdâ€ the reservation I didn't want the card charged. I asked the manager if I would be able to pay cash when I brought the truck back, she assured me the card would NOT be charged. My friend overheard the manager tell me it wouldn't be charged, yet when I brought the truck back the employee working charged the card! When I explained the situation he told me there was nothing he could do about it!!! Having worked in customer service for years, I KNOW any transaction can be voided out and can be redone!! His solutionâ€¦the problem became mine to deal with. I told him I was completely unhappy with their services and the fact that he screwed up but I had to deal with the fallout! I have been renting trucks at the same location because of convenience, but I will be reconsidering who I rent my next truck from.Sandy R.
Persons returning units to this U-Haul site, should be told to approach from the South. It is unsafe and very difficult to enter from the North, especially with a 26' box truck! The gentleman that checked me in was courteous.Donald C.

Tires desperately needed changed. Roadside assistance was great though. They were fast and got them done but we shouldn't have needed that.Justin S.
The location was great, thanks to the manager/owner who happened by and handled the 24/7 pick-up that the website and app did not allow to happen and we had wasted over an hour and a half of our time trying to get it to work and to talk to U-Haul customer service both on the phone and in chat. I would rate the site a 4 and the experience of dealing with the App, the Website, the 800 number and chat Customer Service as a 0. The location manager was great though.Terry L.
