Uhaul changed up my time and location the night before pickup. I got to the location and the uhaul dealer said they did not have a truck available. On the phone with uhaul for 1 hour, we went back to the location and got the same truck. Uhaul scheduling screwed up and was confusing everyone. I am never using uhaul again.RYAN S.

The shop was closed when I went there to return around 3:00 PM today. I was not expecting this as this was Monday and was open when I picked it up in the morning. I had great difficulty in login to uhaul.com/share through my phone as my internet connection was weak. It took me around 25 min to complete the process.INDRANEEL C.

I ordered and paid for a furniture dolly and blankets. I did not get them and they were not in the truck when I left with the truck. I think the young man who helped me did not know what he was supposed to do so I never got what I paid for. I called back and requested a refund and was told I would get one but never did. There were many problems with my UHaul. First, I rented from a place in Linden, NJ. After waiting a long time to get my rental, even though I pre-registered and pre-paid, they told me our truck was in Elizabeth!! They said UHaul should have called us the night before, but they did not. Not only was it an inconvenience, and took time away from the move we were doing, but it cost me $$ because I had to pay two car service fares. An extra $15. Someone from UHaul called me just after 10 am (my pick up time), when I was the second place, and apologized that I never got the call the night before. He said because UHaul did no deliver, I would get a $50 refund for the situation as it was your mistake. It does not seem to have been applied to my bill. An additional cost was that we ordered 10 blankets to be used and they were not available at the second place. They were at the first~ no one told us the second place was a flower shop with only one truck. So we had to spend $68 dollars to buy them from the store at the storage unit we were clearing out! I had to come here, because the uHaul on Sherman in Elizabeth, NJ which had scheduled my one way at 9 a.m. on 9/9 wasn't going to be ready until 10 a.m. They called me as I was standing out front waiting for them to open to tell me that. My moving schedule was pretty tight, so they found me another van available right away about 10 minutes away. When I got to the second pick up location, no one was there to help me with the uHaul and the Flower Store manager had to call someone who took ten minutes to come even though they had been told I was on the way from the Sherman location. It was not a smooth morning and I was disappointed with the logistics of it all.Sarah B.

Dont give customers faulty cars and try to say the customer did something to it. Because i have to wait for them to come fix the cable, which push my movers time back, i end up moving my furniture to my new place by myself. The back sliding door was difficult to open because they broke the cable to bring the door down. My experience was terrible!!!Jessica J.

I am unhappy that the price quoted to me online was different than the price given to me in the store. I was quoted online $248 with insurance and the dolly when I went into the store I asked the dolly to be removed and the price went up to 262 without the dolly. I am not sure why the price was raised but at that point it was too late to cancel .Abdel A.

I had a great experience at this location. I was told to return the truck to this location since it was the closest and I am glad I did because everyone here was so great. I needed a little extra time with the truck and since I let them know with time I was not charged. Everyone I spoke with from on the guy on the phone to the people in a the store was so helpful and nice. I would recommend this location to anyone.diana M.

It was very frustating that the truck was not available at the location I had selected. And when I called to complain about it, the headquarters told me the website states that the location selected is a preferred location.
