Easy peasy, I have had previous experiences with U-Haul that did not go good, this time my experience renting from Don couldn't have been better. Would definitely recommend renting from him
Richard CThis is the only location that doesn't have anybody help you to hook your trailer and check the trailer lights. You need to do everything by yourself. I need to do everything by myself on this Barrhead location. Very poor service.
Kristopher TRude ignorant a ripe off still haven't received my deposit back yet there was no problem with the return. They steal your money charge you $20.00 they call convenience charge to get your deposit back. They have no customer service skills at all.Don't rent from these guys save yourself a headace

Deloris DI had scheduled a furniture dolly because I (a 36 year old woman who is in... no shape) was tasked with moving a 3 bedroom house myself last minute and I knew I would need... the support of a dolly. Unfortunately - there was no dolly available in any of the trucks. I am definitely feeling the consequences today (and probably for the next few days). There were a few items that I considered abandoning because they were so heavy - but I powered through. Don - the gentleman I interacted with for the duration of my experience was wonderful. He apologized for the dolly situation and removed it from my charges. Everything was prompt and seamless. He was very helpful, and kind!

colman gHappened to have the drivers door handle barely hanging in there. Yes it was documented, and already marked prior to us picking it up so therefore did not create any issues with the cost or the plan. It just was an inconvenience to the driver to which would not take all that much to fix or even have us use any one of the other trucks that was sitting and still available for the duration that we were using ours. Other than that, the person helping us we owe a big thank-you for putting up with our arrogance at the time of frustration with our plans not working out and with the patience as we scrambled to get the proper items needed inorder to make it even happen. Thank you again and rest assured things will be able to go a lot smoother if should ever need to use your service again.

Melle BWe booked our uhaul truck to include a dolly and blankets. While the truck was in good condition the additional items were not in the truck. When I called 5 star thevsub dealer. Don told me he could only rent out what came in the trucks and didn't seem to care that we would not have a dolly for our move. The rental confirmation received the night before specifically said our rental had thetwo additional items we booked.
Dave KLocation was great and staff was friendly but could you maybe send an email detailing everything you will need for a rental? Pointing out drivers license picture, that you need a credit card not debit visa, etc…
Sarah KThis was did feel like a uhaul rental never seen anyone was all done on the phone then you where given a location to pickup the keys just a lot on inconvenients, worst ever had to travel for a hour to pick it up then had to wait for a phone call. I was told to pick a drop of location and then was charged for going to the wrong location and for using over miles.
FRASER GWhile the empty lot was convenient for us to return the trailer, an empty lot and no clear instructions were terrible. We recieved no email confirmation. When I called I got a very sharp rude person. Corrected my cell number and email address and still did not get a response . Finally on the 3 rd call I received a video which was all for returning a truck not a trailer . Last phone call I finally was transferred to someone who could help me with the return. I will never use this service again. Online terrible, empty lot terrible. The trailer was good, clean and safe .

Dick H1st truck I was going to take had maintenance issues flat tire, reverse lite hanging down ans couple other things. 2nd truck Don gave me was perfect. Truck manufacturer issue? I found the gas pedal too close to the brake pedal (with my size 14 feet lol)

Nadia KThe first truck had a hole in the gas tank, gas was just about on empty, had to get a different truck and that tank was at empty, had to put 100 dollars in the tank, and still took my 100 dollar deposit
Dakota PDon was awesome and it's a remote location so I can't fault him. The previous renter pretty much unhooked the trailer in the worst spot possible. The trailer tires were in rough shape. 3 out of 4 were on the wear bars and showed some signs of cracking between what was left of the treads. Hopefully it gets fixed. A couple of the rear clearance lights were also not working. It got the job done and Don was good to deal with.

Katey PI was not able to pick up the rental truck from the town that I requested it in even though there are 3 u-haul locations available in my town. There is also two locations closer to my place of origin than the one I was told I had to get the truck from. We had to make an hour long drive each direction to get it and burn extra fuel in a larger truck than requested. Even though there were trucks in my home town....Hmmmm?

Jason BDon at 5 Star rentals was super helpfull and cleared up the contract quickly from a satelite office as there is no physical business in place in Barrhead. Great service

LARS LJust a thought if u have trailers laying out in a pick up yard, that get cleaned by a contractor see if they can clean just a bit better or actually put the hitches on something so they don't freeze to the ground or get buried in the snow . It was lucky I had a short chain to just give it a little tug. Just a thought. Other than that it was fine easy access to get in and out ..

Trinidy HWill never do a remote site again. Had issues getting the paperwork done because of poorer recption (maybe). The back tires were cheap almost bald summer tires that couldnt handle any snow or ice. (especally dragging a trailer). It should be criminal to run tires like that, especially in winter time. Maybe if they had a manned site they could inspect tires properly. I had to unload my sports car so I could got to the store to buy some tire chains. I would have just pulled that pos around with my sports car but I didnt have another driver to steer it.
