Truck was dirty with trash in it and sunflower seeds on the floor board. Truck was also missing the blankets, and dolly that I had ordered and paid for. Therefore I had to drive to a different location to get everything that was missing .

GARY HLocation did not seem well maintained. No one was around. Truck was covered in bird droppings and had sticky wine/juice residue in the cargo area.
Brian HThe people that own own/run this location were not very helpful and were extremely distracted when I checked in. The woman was on another call on her cell phone giggling and speaking in a foreign language. I asked if she was speaking to me which she replied "no". She provided the keys and nothing else. Did not show me anything regarding Truck. Also, the truck barely had an 1/8 tank of gas. Ridiculous considering the amount I paid to rent truck. The drop off location in Stillwater OK was an actual UHAUL store. Completely different experience there very knowledgeable and pleasant. Also major confusion upon original reservation. I requested a 16ft truck on line and sent confirmation of my reservation. A day before pick up I received a call from a uhaul person informing me that my truck was no longer available and that they booked me somewhere else at a different location then they proceeded to send me an email with the confirmation which was incorrect. I had to call back and they never resend a new email confirmation the next day. I called the new location to let them know I'm coming to pick up the truck. The gentleman stated he did not have a reservation at all in the system for me and that someone canceled it!!!!! he provided a one8:00 number to U-Haul. I spoke with a lady named Sabrina who located a truck for me and apologized for all the errors she told me the truck would only be available for 45 minutes. I had to stop what I was doing takeoff work just so I can go pick up a truck. The entire process was a complete nightmare. And I was charged an exorbitant amount all caused from lack of professionalism from UHAUL subcontractors etc. I would NEVER recommend UHAUL unless it's with the actual UHAUL store!
JILL CLocation had at least 6 trailers on site that would have suited my needs. They refused to rent any of them to me, saying they were for local use only. They sent me to another location 30 minutes away, wasting over an hour of my time. At least the people where I turned it in were friendly and professional.
JOHN BTruck had dirt on inside when picked up. Also truck had smear damage to logo on driver side
Sawyer BConcerns over what I had put into the reservation, and not knowing that these options did not carry over to the actual reservation when picking up. I inadvertently declined insurance, when I thought I was being asked about additional coverage. I had already left the location when I learned this, but the location was great about allowing me to return so they could inspect the item and add the insurance. I was initially reserved through the Lake Saint Louis location, but was called two days prior indicating that location did not have the size trailer I reserved, so I was routed to the O'Fallon office. While in there, a customer was on the phone and was told that the LSL location had the inventory in the 6x12 size, which was confusing to me.
Michael TVery friendly and helpful. Adjusted my pickup time with ease due to a late flight.

Terry HLocation didn't have me sign anything or make an agreement on anything. I later got a text saying that I had to bring my truck back to the same location even though I had booked a one way trip. Not recommended. Poor communication all around.
Daniel LNone of the equipment I order with the truck was in there. Also, the trucks driver side door had a HUGE gap and wouldn't seal properly, so driving down the highway produced quite a draft.

Steve MThere was no one there to returnthe truck to. The phone number provided was a full voicemail. We couldn't speak with anyone and we couldn't speak with anyone at uhaul. The Best you could do was give us call back the next day. This was a highly unsatisfactory experience all the way around. I don't see using uhaul in the future.
Sandra SHad to change my pick up location due to availability, no big deal. Didn't know the lights were a 4 point harness instead of a 7 point so I had to go buy an adapter and I didn't get the packing paper I ordered because the trailer was at a different location
Chad WVery difficult to find. Hardly and signs to verify it was a Uhaul location. No signs to show where office was located. Called earlier and person who answered, answered with "Hello". Not Hello, this is Uhaul, just hello. Had to ask if I was talking to Uhaul. Left Tail light didn't work. Had to load car and take to another Uhaul location. They tried to fix to no avail. Had to off load car and get a different dolly and relaod car.
Michael CThe haul had graffiti on the rear doors. I had to go find and hookup to the trailer on their lot. Good thing I knew how to do this. When I pulled up by the office I checked the lights and the left side did not work. I then was told to drive to another haul. And have them fix it.
Brad FMake sure the employee actually shows up to work and opens when the the truck is supposed to be rented. Had to call the number on the building and got someone that transferred the call to some people yelling at each other in spanish without even acknowledging the caller. This happened twice. Then once someone showed up, they had to obtain all of my information all over again. My move day was delayed by an hour and a half. The most unprofessional unapologetic customer service I've ever had.
Guy MFill the tank with gas. It was on a quarter tank when picked up.
Gregory MI had to change my pickup place which was super inconvenient and out of my way. Then I had requested for a dolly and didn't receive one. Plus tried the sign up app thing and that didn't work great.
Katherine FVery helpful and friendly staff at this location. Even with a few hiccups regarding the moving blankets they got me going and made everything very easy.
STEVEN NVery helpful, we couldn't get the trailer unhitched, even know he was busy with another customer he came out to take care of it.

MARY KIt seemed like I was bothering the gentleman working there. Obviously his "Phone calls" for his primary business were more important to him. He did ask if I needed help hooking up, which I did say no, he pointed me in the direction of the trailer. After hooking up I pulled in front of building as instructed. He then (while still on the phone) snapped a couple of pictures and sent me down the road without checking chain connections or trailer lights. Sub-par U-Haul experience as I am accustomed to the customer service at the St.Peters location.
schlager bDid not look like a uhaul location. Door was locked until we tried to enter and then a few minutes later someone came to the door.

Angela CMass chaos! The lady helping me was new and very nice, tried very hard to be helpful. But the local franchise was a mess. Let's begin with Spanish being the native language spoken. I never heard a word of English at the facility except from the new lady trying to help me. They had the wrong trailer, couldn't figure out how to prepare the paper work. Eventually a supervisor came from another facility, brought the correct trailer and solved all issues....causing a one hour delay in my scheduled departure. I have rented from U Haul many times. I will not use this facility again.
