We reserved our truck in the Coram location. When we got our confirmation, it was for the Ronkonkoma location. When we got to Ronkonkoma location, we learned the previous customer hadn't returned the equipment and we had to go to Brentwood to pick up the truck. Once we got to the Brentwood location, it was difficult to find someone who spoke English well enough to understand we were picking up a truck. Overall, it was a nightmare.Christopher K.

I specifically removed the CDW coverage from the box truck when I made the online reservation because I have GEICO and I called them to find out if the truck would be covered and they said yes. However, when I went to pick up the vehicle it was added back and included in the final bill. I asked for it to be removed when I returned the vehicle and it was not removed.Alvorine M.
Info for what I needed on my car prior to pickup was awful. Trying to call main number was very frustrating and confusing, this is not the UHAUL experience I have had in the past. I picked up a dirty van that had garbage on the floor and even had a used mask on the dashboard. I was pressed for time but I normally would have not accepted it in that condition. I was extremely disappointed.JOEL N.
This is probably one of the worse U-Haul places out there. I have rented a couple of your truck back in the past and have never had any complaining in regards. Kelly helped us set everything up. She answered all of our questions and was very polite and professional. When we dropped the truck off later on, the other girl, I forgot her name but can say she was amazing too, checked us out in the parking lot. It was so fast that I was shocked how easy. The store was very clean and everyone from the cashiers were nice, the guys selling phones were nice and the experience was so easy. We highly recommend this location.LAURIE L.

The equipment should be maintained properly. The wheel straps ratchet on the tow dolly was hard to operate due to improper maintenance and no lubrication. Also the attendant need to be a little more knowledgeable hooking up the equipment. He did not tighten down the hitch when he attached the tow dollyDave S.

The interior of the trailer floor was wet and smelled terrible, plus there is a leak somewhere in the roof of the trailer. A few boxes were wet when unpacking. I did drive thru rain, so apparently there is a leak in this particular trailer. However, i was pleased that trailer was safe and all lights worked.Peter M.

I rented a car carrier. It was old and falling apart. The ramp was rusted half way through and after putting the car on the trailer the ramp bent and would not go back in so I couldn't move the trailer. I unhooked the trailer from my truck and drove home to get tools. By the time I drove home and got tools, drove back to the trailer and bent the ramp enough for it to go back into the trailer it was 3 hours later. After the car was off I had to bend the ramp back again to get it back into the trailer so I could bring the trailer back to Uhaul.JOHN STEPHEN P.

I was unhappy with the equipment which was a car hauler. I recommended to uhaul that it should be removeD from inventory . Staff was friendly and helpful. All other equipment on the lot looked well maintained.ralph T.
Get an actual computer, laptop, or iPad for associate to use. Didn't feel comfortable having the associate use a mobile phone to handle my transaction. And the WiFi was horrible at this location. It took 30-45 minutes to pick up the truck, even with my checking in online ahead of time. And I ordered a furniture dolly but got a hand truck. When I asked the associate about it, I was told â€œthis is a furniture dollyâ€ ðŸ™„.A furniture dolly is flat with 4 wheels. A hand truck sits upright which is what they provided - and not what I ordered.Marguerite S.
