Back of truck was not clean, they did not go over the equipment with me as others have in the past. Gas level was a 1/8 of a tank lower than marked on the paper.

Apparently only 1 person trained in process Was out to lunch I had to wait 1 hour and still she had not returned I left keys with another young lady who was helpful and would give keys to when she ret6 I was not given a receipt Tough experience I should have just dropped keys and left
Douglas KThis was probably the most unpleasant experience I've ever had renting a vehicle. When I first arrived, they took a long time to check me out. I reserved a pick up. They only had a van which I excepted. I also reserved a dolly and furniture pads which they also didn't have. It took a very long time for them to check me out. I was just basically standing around waiting. Then when I return the vehicle in 23 hours they charged me for keeping it for 48 hours. I picked it up around 213 and returned it by 145 the next day. It took me even longer to leave because of this era then it took for me to pick up the vehicle. They said I would get a refund for the difference, but it hasn't gone through yet. They also said someone will be contacting me and I'm wondering when that will be.

Paul EAlthough the people who helped us did the best that they could, our rental was changed from 730am pick up (at an advertised 24/7 location) to 830am pickup without our knowledge, the kind but under informed staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Almost gave us a tow dolly for a car instead of the handtruck ordered during checkout, than they have to cancel and resubmit my reservation. Uhaul customer service offered us a $50 credit due to the original inconvenience of nobody notifying us about the change in reservation time...except during pick up or drop off nobody could figure out how to enter the certificate code and after an almost 2 hour pick up ordeal and another lengthy drop off, as much as I'd love the credit that was offered, I struggled to muster up the patience to contact customer service AGAIN and ask how this credit should be applied. Moving day is stressful enough, I had people waiting to help me move move an hour and a half since our truck pickup ordeal was obsured. Again, the staff were kind but very under trained and under informed.
