Helpful staff . I used u Haul for the first time to move my house and they did everything from booking to connecting trailer with truck and loading my car.

Darien EOnly one person was on staff the day I returned the truck and she was swamped with running the gas pumps + walk in traffic for the convience store. The day before, 3 people made unloading my truck and trailer easy.

Bonnie LThey weren't ready for us. We had to go to the bank to get cash because they wouldn't let us use debit only credit. The lady at the gas station was working on her own and having to deal with customers while we were trying to get the truck. She had to phone someone to get us our truck. We had planned on doing everything by using the Uhaul app but it wasn't working. Good thing we went during work hours.

Bonnie LHave the dealer clean up the truck some like washing the front window .... Last rental customer had windshield covered in bugs .. This dealer is a Gas Station for heavens sake ...I don"t consider having to clean the windows to safely operate the vehicle my job ! when I pick up the truck ..
david pI found several items in the truck on the floor and behind the seats, my trailer was not hooked up when so got there either, so me and my brother had to hook it up in a ditch after it took the guy 45 mins to sign me in cause he was too worried about putting people through his till than getting the u-haul… When asked why the trailer wasn't hooked up or ready to go he tried to charge me $20 to do it. This was a horrible experience seeing I had to drive an additional 2 hrs to even get my uhual

Darcy RHave someone observe the drops of trailers. Had to pull my trailer up the hill and fight to get it hooked up because previous person just dropped it and let it roll down the hill. Had issues getting what I needed when I needed it. Reserved a trailer for Thursday pick up in one city. When my confirmation text came through, I was supposed to pick up in a different city. Not ideal. I had to spend almost 2 hours on the phone trying to solve the problem because the service centre shut down early. (6:45 instead of 7:00 for some reason). I had to push back my pickup a day so that affected all of our other plans. We had to push everything back a day to allow for the piss poor reservation system. When I complained, I got put through to a manager that gave me a $50 deduction off my rental. The overall extra cost to me for pushing everything back a day was around $200 so I guess the $50 refund covered it
Mike DParish the owner was Amazing and so helpful. My only advice is Be upfront with total amount owning. At the Location above, owner showed me what bill was total charged $60.13 to credit card. My account showed extra, $67.56 charge.

Brandyn BSimple put the location that gave me service was fantastic, slow In filling out the app but great, the location that screwed me over was horrible, horrendous, took my call , then closed an hour early , I had to pay a cab twice, and forced into a 5 ton across town as a result. Everyone in swift current I'm speaking to are going to boycott the downtown location and only use the north service road location from now on..I suggest you pull Cheadle st locations licence to serve as this isn't the first time , everyone has discribed and East Indian person that is very lazy. I never met him. But let me reiterate how good the experience was on north service road. And very friendly also East Indian by the way so don't get the two mixed up.
Dean LThe Uhaul manager wanted me to pay him $20. to assist me with hooking up the trailer. I didn't pay the $20. fee because it wasn't disclosed to me when I booked the trailer. At the drop off location, the manager there told me "there is no $20. hook up fee, it's Uhaul's responsibility to get the costumer hooked up.

Joseph GThere was another location in Swift Current, which we dealt with first. The gentleman manning that store should not have a job with U-Hal. He was 100% incompetent at what he was doing. Unable to answer questions. Unable to enter information properly. And gave us wrong information. The person at Fas Gas was definitely more approachable, and could speak good enough English to be understood, but also gave us wrong information. We were shocked at the discrepancy between what we were told in Swift Current, and what we found out in Richmond, British Columbia, when we went to drop the U-Haul off. Also, the U-Haul trailer in Swift Current was filthy on the outside. No one had cleaned it up in a very long time. We would be hard-pressed to rent from U-Haul ever again.
KEVIN DWe booked for a pick up in regina and they didnt have a truck. Had to pick up in swift current. Cost me a lot of money in gas to do this with no compensation from uhaul. Disappointed in that

COLIN PI was booked for 4:30pm and They let me wait for an hour for me to get my trailer 5:30pm and I am not pleased with the manager cause I waited for him for more than 30 minutes and the right signal lamp is not working, they sold me a trailer plug connector to convert from 7 pin to 4 pin, either buy it for $30 or rent it for $20 so I just bought it cause I do not have a choice I just want to take the trailer and get out of the place.

Darcy RThe guy who helped me was friendly, unfortunately he didn't not understand that I needed a one way trailer rental. When I dropped it of an other location I was charged another $200. I phoned customer service and still haven't heard back. I've rented many trailers from U-Haul this was by far my worst experience
James OFeels unprofessional and even fuel cap was opened when I picked up but they didn't know about this and keep telling me not a problem. But it could be a problem for future.
