Owner operator was very friendly. Great customer service.
ROBERT DI was very disappointed that I was charged $44.00 for being 45 minutes late turning in the vehicle. I told the people that I was 45 minutes late and they said they would take care of it. They did not say I would be getting a late fee. Not very customer friendly.

Michael MOwners need to be kind to customers. I saw that sometimes people went to pick up a reservation only to find it wasn't available so I decided to call before going. Call one, they put the phone on the counter for over ten minutes. Call two, they said they were really busy and put the phone on the counter for almost fifteen minutes. Call three, I asked right away if I could ask a question and was told NO and HUNG UP ON! This was just unacceptable. When I arrived, the owner kept saying how busy they were but there were two people waiting for a food order and one additional order was being made, and there was a dedicated cook so she wasn't even needed. Owner also didn't know how to rent out trucks and had to call her husband who was unavailable. She ended up calling her daughter to come to the shop to do the rental. Even though the owner apologized for being rude on the phone, it didn't matter because no customer should have had to go through three phone calls totaling almost 25 minutes only to be spoken to rudely and hung up on. Truck had mud inside the cab and really should have been cleaned up before renting out. U-Haul really needs to set some minimum standards for customer service.
AUDREY JI had issues with my storage unit(not thru U-Haul) and they were so helpful and accommodating at extending my rental time.

GREGORYDEAN WHave a dedicated worker for only rentals. I waited for 1hr 15 minutes on checkout. The worker also ran the cash register for the convenience store as well as taking orders for their grill. Everytime a customer came to register he would walk off and checkout the other customers that came in after me. I lost count at about 9 customers for the convenience store/ deli that were helped after I started the trailer checkout process.

I rented for few hrs and last minute called needing to keep rental overnight and the gentleman I spoke with went above and beyond to ensure it would be ok for me to keep equipment for extended time. Also was not expecting the bill to be as much and didn't have enough to cover so he himself worked it out to where I could pay remaining balance the next day BC bank had closed. 10 STARS

Darrick SStop abandoning your customers in extremely difficult times. I was stuck in the mud and they said the insurance didn't cover that. Uhaul said they could send someone to tow me but it would cost me 450. Dollars. I was stranded and had to search out the internet to find a towing company myself. The people I got the truck from were great not the Uhaul company.
Linda TThe gentleman at the location was very friendly and helpful but they did not have the 10 foot truck I had reserved 2 weeks earlier. I had to call Uhaul the day before since I had heard nothing from Uhaul since I had made the reservation on 12/7. At that point, Haley (sp?) told me they did not have the 10 foot truck and they would be giving me a 15 foot truck. I asked again for a 10 foot truck since we were not moving that many belongings and since I was concerned about gas mileage. She told me that there was a 10 foot truck in Narrows but everyone was at a meeting in Lynchburg and she had no one available to bring the 10 foot truck to Pulaski. I told her that I didn't have enough time to arrange for anyone to take me to Narrows and pick up the 10 foot truck. I asked for a discount to compensate me for the additional gas cost. She said all she could do was give a me a $50 credit of some sort. At this point, U-haul had the upper hand since I had planned to load on 12/20 and leave 12/21 and I did not have much choice! I was very disappointed that after making this reservation 2 weeks in advance, they couldn't get the correct truck to my pick up location. I'm even more disappointed now that I find out that the $50 credit wasn't even towards my recent trip but towards an unknown reservation in the future?? When I mentioned the discount to the guy I pick up from, he didn't even bother to explain this to me. I feel swindled!!
Maria BIf you are renting a tow dolly for towing a broken down car at 4pm on New Years Eve, you need a lot of help. This place gave me directions, also told me about the auto parts store where I could buy a hitch and wheel chocks. They did all they could to help us quickly get on our way.

Sandra FThe drop-off location was very friendly, however it was not the closest location for me to drop-off. Why is it my job to ferry trailers for U-Haul's convenience?
Dorsey TI asked if they had a tag along trailer to haul a china hutch. He ran my card for a truck that I did not need. I didn't realize it until he handed me a key after charging my card. I used it approximately 2 hours. I paid $149.00 for what should have been noore than $40 because I had a tow package on my personal vehicle. My boyfriend said they did that on purpose to get my money. He is considering going to social media to warn the public so they are not taken advantage of like I was.

Gloria HStore looked abandoned, unsafe part of town for drop off and cell phone barely had signal for self drop off. Took 30 minutes of walking around the parking lot, avoiding the crackheads asking for money, to get a signal to take all the pics required for self drop off. Not safe.

Zach GTrailer not returned to the address above. It was returned to the Duck & Deli in Radford, VA. Spent several days arguing with them. One guy said I returned the equipment late (not true) and another said I never returned the equipment (also not true). If this wasn't the first bad experience I have had, I wouldn't go back.
