There were a bunch of problems that was mostly on uhaul, but temporary hours meant there was no one there to talk to, and the uhaul (which had changed locations twice) didn't have a second dolly and then I got harassed by uhaul for the truck not being checked in yet on Monday, even though it had been returned. This is my last experience with uhaul.

The website did not work for pick up or drop off. This forced me to leave the truck and pay extra for check in. The $20 fee should be credited back to me. I tried two different browsers and phones to try to use the drop off, both said “service unavailable”

Go over final costs and fees better. Cost of gas, miles and fees. Was thinking .99 cents per mile and it was 1.99, not what I was told. Never mentioned refill gas? Wasn't happy with expecting a bill for 80.00 and being charged double that! Horrible overall experience

The van was not available at the location I booked it which caused a delay to the start of the move. The Fairfield location had a van. It was only 15 minutes away but that's additional time and mileage I hadn't planned for.

I arrived to find the worker and her son eating behind the counter. She seemed blaise about having a customer yet did not want to make any sort of contact. I find this interesting considering they both were not wearing masks and were eating while working. I also suspect her son who was sitting next to her wearing pajamas probably should have not been there. Maybe if this was the case the vehicle would have been properly inspected and found to have a faulty battery, which would have prevented this entire ordeal. The U-Haul I rented was dirty ( used cups and garbage on the floor). The battery died and I was stranded for over five hours in the freezing cold until a service tech came to jumpstart the vehicle. There was only one service tech for all of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The fact that U-Haul does not have their own service workers blows my mind. The third party dispatchers gave false times and did not care that I was in a situation of possibly hypothermia or even frostbite. I was forced to miss work since the tech was not able to arrive until 7:50 a.m. The way this whole situation was handled was disgusting and inhumane. I am seriously considering suing. The only saving grace was Amy at Customer Service and Dominic at the facility I dropped off the U-Haul at. I also want to mention I arrived at this location at 5:32 and it was completely dark with no employees in site, yet the hours for this location were until 5:30. I will never use U-Haul again and will be sharing my awful life-endangering experience with all.

We ordered a 15 foot truck. We ordered it for touchless pickup. Neither happened. Because the equipment was unavailable, we couldn't have touchless pickup, because of all of this we were behind schedule. I've been deeply disappointed by our last two uhaul experiences. As a result of the lack of equipment, and the delay to the start time of our contract, I would like a 25% discount in the form of a rebate of fees paid this last rental. I am completely unhappy with my last two rentals. Uhaul needs to step up their services.

Was supposed to rent from Wayne which was close to my home but the mobile app was an awful experience and I could not get in touch with customer service for hours on end so I had to go to Fairfield. It was fine but the windshield of the van on the inside was so dirty I couldn't even see to drive

Your fueling policy should provide a full tank at the start or the rental and the consumer should return with a full tank That way would've only payed for fuel I used

The gas tank was about 7/8 full at pick up. We returned it full and put a lot more gas in it then we used. It would have been nice if the vehicle was full at pick up to avoid this overcharge. Hard to refill it to the 7/8 level

I received the truck with gas tank about 1/4 full and I returned it with a little under 1/4. Figured U Haul would be filling for next customer and I am immune compromised so I try not to touch items general public uses. I agree with paying for 2 gallons of gas but to be charged $30 for a service charge was excessive and left a sour taste in my mouth

There were mysterious liquid stains in the cup holders and floor of the driver's cab as well as garbage in the door. The inside of the truck itself was littered with debris. The staff there was apathetic at best, intentionally ignoring me at worst. They were too busy on their phones to even look up as I picked up and dropped off the keys. I may as well been picking up from a lockbox.

I put over $ 60.00 gas in the Truck , it was filed to top and I only needed half a tank and I got no credit for the gas, If I had less gas you would have charged me not fair, Please return $ 30, to my Charge card!

The staff when I picked up the vehicle were amazing and super friendly. It was a very pleasant experience. However, we ran into some issues and were not going to make the drop-off time, and when I called the location, all I was told is "It has to be back." I felt as though I wasn't being listened to, as it was going to be impossible to drop it off in time. I was able to drop it off only 15min late, and the store had closed, but had given me zero information on how to now turn it in late. I then spent the next 30-45min in the lot trying to figure out how to do it, and was finally able to find a link. I feel there has to be a procedure in place when something happens and a dropoff isn't going to make it in time.

Unscrupulous to say the least. Last weekend I signed up for 10 foot box truck returned it to East quogue at a facility called mustafa's Auto Repair and they have the nerve to charge me $27 after I spent $15 of gas money at that same location to fill up the truck I don't know why you charge me but I will absolutely report this

May actual bill was 65.62, yet you debited my bank account for 71.43. When I brought this to the attention of your associated at the Fairfield location, she stated the the refund would be forthcoming in a number of days. No specific time. I stated that if my account was charged the 71.43 that there would be an issue. In a snide and demeaning manner she stated "For 5.81?". I said that this was my money not U-Hauls. She then commenced to hang up on me. Should I inform my bank not to let this debit go through?

Navigating website is a nightmare for on-line rentals. Wait time for help was over 30 minutes. Took 3 1/2 hours to get truck out of lot. Finally found another number - that group was very helpful. Truck was clean but clearly on it's last legs

The A/C does not work at all on a sweltering hot day when there's heavy loading and unloading going on; and the van hesitates when trying to accelerate, then suddenly speeds up. Very scary and unsafe. Time to give this van some serious maintenance.

The two woman there were not public friendly. The trailer brake and blinker lights and brake assist did not work. When I reported it, they did not seem to care. When I said it was dangerous and needed to be fixed, the only acknowledgement was, "We'll look into it." Very inefficient personel.
