Better customer service. I reserved truck online, but still to wait for 30 minutes for someone to service me. I didn’t receive the two dozens of mats that I paid for either

There was very little gas in it, took the girl 21 minutes of my time to get it so I could begin despite doing all the same things on line prior to going to the location. The windshield was cracked.

When my husband arrived at the Winchester location there was no one at the uhaul rental place. The people who ran the uhaul were not there. My husband, along with 8 others had to call their young daughter from the gas station next to the uhaul rental area. He had to give his credit card information over the phone to a child! Why? There was already one on file. The truck was blocked in. He had to move the other trucks HIMSELF. We also ordered a appliance dolly and it was not given to him. He had to drive to another location for that! When he returned the truck they tried to charge us for extra miles! The extra miles were because uhaul moved us to a different location! This location was so unprofessional and we expect a refund or a discount on the next truck we rent in a few weeks!

I had to do the check-in over the phone since the U-Haul guy wasn't even there. I really didn't understand why he wasn't there during business hours and no reason or apology was offered. After the 30 minute delay of getting him on the phone, he was very helpful and I got the truck quickly.

Had reserved truck three days before pickup date.. Didn’t have my name for a reservation!! I even spoke to a man to confirm the order!!!! But in the end I got a truck!! Thank goodness! That’s all that mattered.

The truck was dirty from the previous renter. I had to clean out food/trash left behind. The lot is on a gravel lot behind a minit mart. Very poor lighting.

Dealt with a lady at the pickup location. She was extremely rood to myself, and to the lady at the corporate office arranging for the uhaul. I kept insisting the reservation was paid for, and she continued to yell. This was paid for by a large corporate account, and had to get someone from the corporate office to correct the misunderstanding. This was an extremely dissatisfying experience, and will rethink uhaul if this is the way the reps run this

The charges were ridiculous at this location. I was out $90 for a $20 Uhaul I rented for a few hours that I filled back up. NEVER AGAIN!

I dropped off the vehicle outside of normal business hours and called Customer Service to notify them of the return. I had no issues.

At this location the proprietors do not come out to assist or check on anything so your on your own, and the property grounds being rough helps to have help with trailer hook-ups.

$44.00 Rate was not $44.00 as agreed upon therefore the customer service repersenitive charge $50.00 a day also she tryed to overcharge an aditional $37.00 that she inded up waving the aditional cost. This location was at the Winchester KY 40391 Uhaul - Marethon Station.

Agent didn’t know equipment she had in inventory, kept directing us to the wrong size even though the one we reserved was on the lot. This location had a single person providing rental, running convenience store and gas station. Took over 1.5 hours to get an already reserved and forms completed vehicle.

Took forever to get my rental, she kept serving other customers before me even though I had been waiting. 25 minutes. She told me that she had to serve the actual customers first. I had called and reserved a truck and when I went to pick it up they didn’t have my reservation or the truck for me. They rented me a bigger one for same price but the lady didn’t know how to do it. I rented for 24 hours and the lady called me the next morning asking me to turn the keys in by 930 am because she had someone else wanting to rent it at that time. Then they charged me full price and I had to go in for a fourth time to get it adjusted. It was all over a horrible experience. Would not recommend.

I put $15.00 in the gas tank and put the fuel guage needle back where it was originally. You are charging me $29.60 INCORRECTLY! I went back to where I turned in the Uhaul and showed them a picture I took on my phone of the mileage......the odometer and the fuel needle and the clock on the dash........and the cargo area in the back where we swept it out very clean. These people there told me the woman.....possibly his wife, I don't know........read the mileage incorrectly and they would reverse the charges on my card...........I'm waiting and watching for that to happen. Starting mileage was 15485.0......ending mileage was 15516.1..........total miles was 31.1.........i.e. 1.1 miles over allowed..........at 40 cents per mile, this amounts to 44 cents I owe you. Please fix this immediately or I will contact my attorney. That fuel needle was NOT at the 1/2 mark after I put the gas in.....I have picture on my phone to confirm this..........they are trying to rip me off and they will NOT be successful.......I will take this $29.60 to the freaking Supreme Court......you don't know me or who I know.......I highly suggest that you fix this immediately......I will NOT turn loose of this until it is right!.........that's why I documented everything on my phone..........I'm waiting and listening today, but if not resolved by midnight Friday, I will contact my attorney on Monday..........have a great weekend, because if you refuse to make this right, the next week will get really exciting.......again, sir, you don't know me or who I know............good luck!

Okay. If your moving a UHaul is definitely the way to go. This experience was okay. No real big problems. But I still haven't got my deposit money back yet. Lady was kind of rude and hard to understand but she got us through fast. All in all....it's been pretty good. Definitely worth it to me!!!!

I reserved a vehicle for 4 oclock but when i got there it wasnt there. But the guy did call me about 30mins later amd had a bigger truck available for the price of the smaller one so that was great and he helped amd worked out well thats how customer service should go! My only concern was that i guess the previous person used it to move yard and tree trimmings and the back was litter with yard and tree debris. Other than that it was a great and easy experience

Ensure that ALL items that a customer reserves are available at the location or at least let the customer know. I requested moving pads on my order, but there weren't any at the location when I picked up the truck.

Was not expecting a BP gas station as a drop off location. Had to call to get that info after not finding a U-Haul. Person was a bit hard to understand and rather abrupt.

There is only one rental place in my town and it’s very hard to get a truck on short notice. I ended up needing one very last minute and of course nothing was available but finally the guy offered as long as we had it back by morning so we got the truck and moved everything in 2 hrs. Had to pay full price like 24 hr but was still a complete life saver! The main guy was super nice but it is hard having only one place because his employees at the gas station won’t call him at home as he said he’s told them to do so you also have to wait until he is there to get a truck

Returned the truck and all I had to do was turn in the key to the personnel behind the desk. Never wanted to check or inspect the truck (good and bad in my opinion), but experience overall was ok.

Early check in had to be done over the phone with the owner again.The truck didn’t have a gas cap. She wanted me to go get them one and return receipt. I don’t work for U-Haul. She also told mem that I could have truck for less time than rented, because she had someone else coming to get it. I didn’t get my move done.

Changed my pickup location twice. Pickup lot not well maintained. It had lots of pot holes. I rent trucks and trailers frequently. This was my first and last time using uhaul

Person who handles uhaul wasnt there we had to wait on her to get there even though our pick up was at 11 am then she didnt stay to finish out the transaction. She sent me to check for damages on the truck and had left the premises when I went back in. Horrible customer service

Be open when you say your supposed to be open, have better customer service, and dont give an amount due of a certain amount and jack the price up in the final receipt for no reason. Bad experience, will not use this location ever again.

I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. I was told if I made sure the truck had the same amount of gas in it as when I got it I would be okay. I was charged a fuel fee after topping the fuel off. I was also told I would be charged 40 cents per mile I went over. I ended up being charged 82 bucks on top of what it cost to rent the truck and the gas I put in.

I booked for pickup to be in Mount sterling at any location, but instead had to drive 30 miles round trip to get the truck ($30). It took almost 30 minutes to get the keys to my truck. The person helping me was doing personal tasks at first while I waited. Then they finally pulled up my information and began helping me. It took a while after that for them to realize they weren't sure what to do. I waited while they called customer service, and we're walked through what to do. Finally I was given keys to the truck, I got the pads I wanted, but the other equipment I paid for was not in stock, and I didn't get it. My previous uhaul experiences were significantly better, I was very disappointed this time.

Actually, our family in Kentucky returned the Toe Dolly for us since the car overheated and we were not able to make the trip to the original drop off location of Columbus, OH.

The address was not clearly visible and the name of the business did not match the information on my rental papers. Only one clerk was in the store so Ibadan to disconnect and park the trailer by myself. Also had to bring in 54 packing blankets by myself
