Clerk and contract stated incorrect fuel level on truck - tank was about 8 gallons short of where they claimed it was. Truck had a strong smell in the cabin.Pedro T.

The uhaul WAs clean however the truck stopped and stalled multiple times during my trip on a highway. Also the ac only worked when it was not accelerating. I am extremely disappointed with the service in store when I was letting them know they were very dismissive and basically said oh well you have to call uhaul I would love to speak to someone considering this truck could have killed me and the passenger!Mia L.

Better communication between the vendor and supplier. The contract changed twice not by my doing. Once for the original pick up and drop off locations. The time was the time frame of having the vehicle. Prior to picking up at the new location the contract was changed again, after explaining the contract was wrong the attendant at the Exxon location was very rude and unbecoming. The cab of the vehicle was not cleaned, debris and empty cigarette packs were inside. Inside the storage portion had belongings and garbage of whoever used it last.Maria D.

Our reservation was confirmed for 15'' truck but we did not get it when we went there for pickup. We had to take the small truck as we did not has any choice and it was hard move the items.Chirag P.

I have pictures of the trash, found in the back of the truckâ€¦ dirty used cardboard, empty beer bottles, wood with large nails sticking out. I am also disputing the fuel charges and associated fees. I drove less than 10miles, refilled the tank to 1/4 tank which is the amount that was provided at pick up. When I spoke to gas station attendant he just said ok and went back on his cellphone.Ann P.

The truck I got needs maintenance. I mean seriously that truck was not going above 40mph.They also charge me extra money I only drove 37 miles and they charge me 50$ plus 30$ for gas . And I showed that guy that I already put gas. I wish I can give zero rating. So many more things to write leave it. PLEASE PLEASE be aware before you go at this place. I hope they don't do this with other customers.Waqas A.

Upon driving down the road about five miles low fuel light came on , when I stopped at location about 11 miles away from pick when opening back door there was a bunch of saturated moving blankets from the previous renter told vendor when I returned truck he was apologetic and said previous employee must not have inspected truckeugene H.
It was pretty easy to reserve, and pick up, and use the equipment. I got charged for fulling the tank even though it matched what my contract said. I got a refund for the charge but I had to call.Jonathan C.

The requested moving items (ie dolly, etc) with my reservation were not available. When I called the location to confirm the day before, they didn't tell me. When I got there, they told me I could pick up the truck with them and then go to another uhaul location to get any other equipment I needed. This was inconvenient.Nicole K.

Ruck had Hay left in it. Rental was not easy to pick up. The guy at counter had to call somone to help so the process took about 1 hour and they did not have the moving blankets that I ordered. I was charged a $2 environ mental fee and a $10 Moyer vehicular charge. I was not tails about those charges and these seem unfair. I am not happy.Michelle D.

I rent from Uhaul often for my business. This is the 2nd time using this location. Although I was refunded the over charge, it baffles me hoe I drop a vehicle of on Sunday mornin and it doesn't get checked in till Monday morning, charging me for an additional dayDAVID N.
Not a good experience. I will be contacting the complaint department when my truck was picked up by my daughter there was no license plate on it the truck was disgustingly dirty the driver side door would not close properly. I was inconvenienced by having to go to another U-Haul to get a temporary license plate which delayed my trip.NICOLE B.
My Dad was actually the one who drove the 15' box truck to and from our destination. He has been driving trucks for over 60 years and said the truck was in pretty decent shape, although the suspension could use a little work. Brakes, steering, lights, engine and transmission were all in good working order.Kathleen M.

Improvement: The rep needs to give truthful information when someone is renting a vehicle I had an issue with me saying that I lived in Elizabeth and the rep placing Linden as my drop off point. I asked him did I have to drop it off in Linden and he said No anywhere. I dropped it off in Hillside because I went to Irvington. I had an issue getting into the system so I called customer service. The App wouldn't let me change the drop off destination. The customer rep told me I would get an extra charge for dropping it off in Hillside. I told him what the rental rep had told me and he seemed like he didn't believe me. Not a good transaction with the parties involved.Iris M.

I returned the truck after refueling at a different gas station however still was charged a refueling fee for 5 gallons I know I didn't use 5 gallons from where I refueled wasn't worth my time trying to fight it so I just paid it I will not be yawing u haul againMichael W.
