I was charged for two days but returned it 4 hours after renting it. The lock on the truck wasn't working for me so the owner had to come out and open it. I was charged a cleaning fee after she told me I wouldn't be charged for one.

We returned the truck at 2:30 in the afternoon. We were told it would be 20 minutes plus before they could get to us. They would send us our return invoice by email. We called the 1-800 number twice during the evening. The truck had not been checked-in. We were anxious because the return location was changed on us. This location claimed the truck was returned at 5:55 that evening. Email came at 5:50 the next morning. Unacceptable. We were given 5 extra miles to cover the change in the return location - the only bright spot in this process.

I had to move bedroom furniture. The process was mostly efficient. I would recommend that you have the customer take a picture of their Drivers license BEFORE arriving to pick up their truck. The clock is ticking and you are wasting time on this, when this could be accomplished during the reservation process.

I had a rental scheduled through the 24/7 automatic pickup for 7:00am. As I was trying to check in online to get the keys, it said I needed to wait until the facility opened at 8:30. Called 1-800-UHAUL and they said we would have to wait, that the van had been turned in the night before and wasn't ready. The facility manager came in a half hour early to help me, but we still had to wait in the parking lot for over an hour. Our schedule was then put behind and made it very inconvenient. I don't think it was so much the facility's error, but definitely the UHAUL system pick up. I should have received a notice, but instead I got a confirmation that my reservation was fine and I could pick it up at 7am.

I turned the truck and transport in, they asked if I had any issues which was no, gas was more than 1/2 and I only was required to have a 1/4 tank. They didn't come out to inspect, which I thought was odd and off I went. No issues with the equipment

The truck did not have any trash in it, but the cab really could stand to be cleaned- very dusty and grimy. Also, the website indicated a cargo van was available at this location. When I went to pick up the van, it wasn't available. Even though I was given the same price for a larger truck, I really didn't want to have to drive a big truck. I would have chosen another location if I had known a van wouldn't be available.

I was charged a gas fee even though I had enough gas in the truck. The boxes got wet from rain from the truck leaking and it ruined a coffee table. Otherwise my trip was good.

Terrible that the location where I was given via reservation did not have unit upon arrival. Was treated with very little concern from the original location, simply told “it ain't here...you gotta drive to a different location”. The second place actually was awesome and had me in and out in 10 min. So other than the extra hour of drive time...I guess it went well.

Ms. Christine is always so very polite and welcomes us. She is very professilnal and has her workers get right on to hooking the yrailer up so we do not have to wait..If you are renting a uhaul in Hamilton County, esp in Noblesville , go to the River Rd. location..

This concept is wonderful until the last user leaves a padlock on the door and it takes 3 hours to finally have it removed, and then you are charged for mileage overage because you had to drive to a site to have it removed.

It took me 30 minutes to even get ahold of anyone upon arrival, and 40 minutes to get the truck. When you are moving, deadlines are often important. The gas in our truck was also very low and we had to fill it before completing our move.

I didn't choose this location, U-Haul did. The location I chose didn't let me know that the pick up location was changed until i called them to confirm they were still open.

Trip was rainy, trailer apparently had leak areas as half of our items packed in the floor arrived wet. Several boxes had to be opened and contents unpacked in the trailer as the box was too wet to be moved. I have photos of damage if needed. The trailer "seemed" to be leaking through the floor.

Excellent and friendly interaction with staff. She offered to show me a larger truck that was available when I asked and I went with that one instead. She took time to explain everything to me and didn't rush me!

Windows on the inside were filthy. And radio didn't work at all in the truck. Overall the experience was fine but I didn't interact with someone at all.

Just wanted to respond to your request. I picked up my trailer for a cross-country move. I didn't feel real confident with the person that help me hook it up. We tested the lights and he said everything was good. Got home and realized that the left tail light was not working. It was a time sensitive situation so I couldn't just take it back. We loaded the trailer up and thought we would drop by another U-Haul dealer close by. The guys there responded and came out to try to address the situation. The whole wire had come Out. They replaced it with a new unit and it worked fine. In the meantime I was looking at the height of my tongue for the trailer. I was told 18 inches is what was preferred and that was how high my trailer hitch was. But upon looking at it it didn't look level. So I went in and bought another trailer hitch that was 2 inches lower. I asked for help to put it on and the manager said he couldn't do that. I asked do you just have a jack that I could use for five minutes but he would not make that available either. It was pretty frustrating. While we were fixing the tail light the door Sprong and got wrapped around the cable. It took him 20 minutes to fix that. Not a good feeling starting off on a cross-country trip. I was so frustrated I returned the trailer hitch and just went with what I had. Everything worked out fine but it sure did leave a bad taste in my mouth. I recognize U-Haul pretty much has a corner on the trailer one-way market. We use Penske for our cross-country move for the big stuff. We rented 2 26 foot trucks. It was an interesting contrast in the two providers. Anyway, I hope this helps. Ken Long Sent from my iPhone
