When I called to speak to management about transaction gave me minimal information and no back up reasoning for additional charge. Will not be using this service or recommend it to anyone.

TSOMBAWI KNIBYEThey claimed they didn’t find the truck key even though I put it in the drop-off box. When I told them I had a video of me putting the key in the drop-off box and shared the video with them, they sent me the receipt. I have rented U-Haul trucks many times, but this is my first time facing this awkward situation. I am unsure what would have happened if I hadn't recorded that video!

Harry Elwell THOriginally I tried to use the Uhaul 24/7 Self-Service and as before it proved to be more trouble than it is worth. Every time I have tried to use this service there have been problems; this time I was flagged for an out-of-state driver's license (I always rent in Delaware and my license has always been in New Jersey) and I was asked to provide two references. In the past, it has always been one reference. After spending too much time trying to resolve this I made the decision to switch to a counter rental. The person that handled my rental was courteous, and knowledgeable, and made the process very easy. As a result of this experience, I will probably elect to use this location and opt for counter service in the future. It is unfortunate that Uhaul does not provide some service to streamline the process for repeat or regular customers. From my experience, the current 24/7 Self-Service is too cumbersome and penalizes the majority of customers for the few that would seek to steal or commit some sort of fraud with regard to this service. For what it is worth I regularly use Penske for my longer-term and weekday rentals. The process is far more friendly to the average law-abiding customer.

Rodney DraftsI drove 2 miles up and 2miles back I didn’t use no gas but a tiny bit and I put 10 dollars n put it past the full line and I was charged 49 dollars and some Chang I was told 19.99 n plus mileage and gas n that was basicly nothing that uhaul sat with my stuff in it because I was getting new floor I didn’t want my stuff out side but with this experience I should have never rented that uhaul false information and poor service I cleaned the trash out of that uhaul that was in there when I picked it up I’d never recommend this to my friends to be disappointed the way I was Debbie
Poore Deborah AYou need to come up with a maintenance program. The tail lights failed on the parking light selection most likely this is a common problem with grounds rusting up. You need to clean the ground once awhile. After ratcheting the straps down over wheel you couldn't get them to loosen up to remove them, need to be lube up once awhile. The old two wheel dolly came with a lease 2 ft wire lead from trailer to truck. Most trucks today have a trailer light connection at the truck bumper. If your not going to change this setup then let renters know you need an extension or provide one. This has nothing to do with personnel at site.they were very nice and helpful.

First location provided was closed, then asked to drive to another location after already having spent the time to ensure appropriate amount of gas left in truck and miles under what was covered. U-Haul drop off located in a small quick mart type location in an unsafe area. Not well marked. Not appropriate area for parking or assistance with U-Haul. Individual didn’t even know how to unhook auto trailer from truck. No instructions provided on how to unhook trailer. Incredibly dangerous and extreme safety concern and liability. Customer service response was average, said that it was up to the individual at the drop off location to determine additional pricing charged but the individual at the location said that was up to U-Haul. We have had such a horrible experience with this that we will not be using U-Haul again.

eric palmerVery poor location. Unfortunately, my reservation was moved to this specific location due to availability. No assistance or help when being told to go get through truck, "behind the Chinese food building" While walking towards a very drug friendly motel where I was extremely uncomfortable. When returning the rental, I was told to park it back around the other building. No one checked milage, gas or looked for damage, as others have in the past when I rented. Customer service extremely poor. Location was not safe nor comfortable.
Alexis DizeService was quick and efficient. The truck was not in good condition at all. The driver door had difficulty shutting due to all the damage to it. The steering was loose and to stay straight I had to keep the wheel to the left the entire time I was driving.

GEORGE WARDThis was by far my WOOOOOOORRRSSSTTTTTTT experience with renting a trailer for U-haul. The customer service was TEEERRRRIIBBLLLLEEE. I have never been treated in such a rude manner with dealing with this company. The day that I picked it up the representative for your company would leave from helping me to helping someone else. I came there at 12:00 and I didn't get out of there until after 12:30. He kept saying because he was the only one there that he had to wait for customers to leave and it didn't matter who kept coming in and out of the store. Then he came to help and told me it wasn't his job to help me put the trailer on the truck he as doing me a favor. I was like excuse me this is not my business and if anything happens while on the road then we would be held liable. he argues with me back and forth and was extremely rude. Then when I looked at my contract, he charged me a $16.00 protection fee that I declined. I will be disputing this charge because he put that on there after i declined that coverage on my contract. It was very difficult communicating with him and he was just so so so so rude. by far the worst experience i ever had in my life.

Adam LeCompte24hr pickup was not set up and I called the service line, which redirected me to use the app. So I go on the app and start a live chat with a rep, who then tells me to call the service number. So I call the service line AGAIN and finally I get a person who helps me out. She found a truck that was set up for mobile pick up and reserved it for me. But I had to then drive to a second location to pick up a truck an HOUR after I was supposed to get it. This second location, where I finally picked it up was helpful
