DonnA B.The only thing that bothered me was that this location didn't have its info together. Couldn't even access my info for the rental since the person was "out of the country" who had access to the U-Haul computer so a person over the phone at another location did my order. Then they had no idea WHAT I had ordered with my contract. Gave me the wrong dolly which I could not use and nowhere near enough blankets (pads you call them). Now, this all being said, when all was done and before I even mentioned anything, they removed the cost of the dolly and only charged me $1 (should have been $45) for the pads so all in all a decent experience BUT it could have been handled a bit better. The staff was friendly.

The 10' truck I rented was not returned and my only options were to either rent one 26' ones they had on the lot (only had 2 trucks at all on the lot) or pretty much have no truck. I feel I was strong armed into spending more money because I had no other option with the time constraints I was under.

Bill K.This was not the original pickup location. When I arrived at planned location the representative was not willing to get the uhaul out of the snow. I was sent to the current location. While they were nice enough, the uhaul was not cleaned off well. When I got inside it was extremely filthy, which I cleaned when I got it to my stop. It smelled and there was grime on the wheel and in the cup holders, on the whole cab. Once we cleaned the ice off ourselves we saw there was a crack all the way across the windshield, the mirror was cracked on the passenger side, and the side of the uhaul under the snow and ice was dented. It wasn't u til I was in the road and ice began to melt that I realized why the ride was so very difficult on the road-one of the tires was bald! It was my most difficult uhaul ride in the 30 years of using uhaul for military moves. This one was not a good one. When I arrived to the new location my suggestion was to scrap the uhaul. I wish I had time to turn around and get a different truck. Lesson learned, don't take a truck in the snow if the company isn't willing to clean it off to get a good view of it.

Crystal L.Would recommend having U-Haul agents that follow your process of renting trucks. The person that looked at my U-Haul reservation and gave me the keys did just that and nothing more. I was not informed about any photos to review Or anything else regarding the truck, rules, insurance, and so on. Additionally, I did not request a dolly along with my U-Haul truck but was surprised to find one in the back of the truck when I began to pack it. I did not have time to return it and so I sent it along with my belongings to Colorado. I have rented you holes many times in the past and have seen nothing but professional behavior. This U-Haul pick up location had none of that. I will not use this location again.

Benjamin S.I do not know if it the role of the store. I called the night before to confirm everything. The man I talked to was able to answer most of my questions. I arrived at 8:35 my reservation was at 9. Everything went smooth, I checked in. He went step by step explaining extra insurance and such. So it was extremely cold that day. 8 degrees, negative with the wind chill. Here is where the problem was. The gas tank was on 3/8 I was lucky the truck started. It had to run for almost 20 minutes as there was a thick pack of ice and snow on the windshield. I feel like their cold have been a tad more gas with how cold the weather was? I also feel like the ice/snow could have been help by starting the truck before especially because I called and confirmed the night before. I understand that is not his responsibility but I had also hired movers so waiting, defrosting, scraping for 20 plus minutes really put me behind.. and praying there was enough gas to warm up and get to the gas station. I understand that is not the store's responsibility but it's common sense especially when it's below zero.

Cynthia H.The pickup location was not a U-Haul center. It's a beer/liquor drive-thru. The name U-Haul gives, Express Drive Thru, is not the same name listed on the sign. They need more and larger U-Haul signs because if we hadn't seen the sole random truck sitting at the back of the lot, we wouldn't have known where to go. The proprietor was very nice, but it's a sketchy area, so customers should have more heads up before agreeing to rent from here.
Nicole H.When I asked where do I return the trailer, he told me, any location you like. So we returned it to the location on Mahoning Ave, and I was charged an ADDITIONAL $99!! Are you kidding me?! Absolutely ridiculous ??
