There was mud in the cab of the truck on the floor. The drivers side headlight was out on the truck and there weren’t clear where to park the vehicle upon return. I was told where I parked it wasn’t the right spot so I had to move it again around the building. Then when I checked out the uhaul website would not work properly on the persons phone. I had to leave without a receipt. The person I worked with did not know how to change the settings on the truck from trip miles to odometer reading and I had to show her that too. They were the only place with a 10 ft truck and that’s why I used them but will rent a large truck next time and use a different location. I’m originally from Chillicothe and this executive Inn is known for allowing prostitutes to stay there…just an FYI. They may have cleaned up their act now but its been this way in the past.

Owners were rude. Refused to go check the mileage on the truck when I brought it back until the next day because it was slightly dark outside even though I brought it back before 7pm. Otherwise it was ok

The box truck had paper, cardboard and other debris in it from previous use. The lady handling the pick up was very nice, however, the man taking care of the return was extremely rude.

RUDE! RUDe!! RUde!!! Rude!!!! I've dealt with these people before. The ONLY! reason I went back is because of availability of equipment I needed. I was forced to take a witness with me upon return because of the uneasy feeling I had. I don't know anyone that has dealt with them that feels any different. Send someone in and find out for yourself.

Felt kind of swindled. Placed a low rate estimate even though I mentioned it was going to be way more that just 30 miles. Mentioned the moving blankets were UNUSED and rep said they would not charge or credit back. I still got charged. Filled gas tank up back to JUST BEFORE 3/4 full. Got charged for 2 gallons of gas.. that was $4.80 a gallon? = almost $10? Where is the math on this? Will be the last time I rent from U-Haul

I ordered furniture covers but didn’t get them. UHaul should allow more mileage with the rental. I was charged $1.00 for each additional mile.

I rented a UHaul truck, 15-ft, for Saturday April 8th, in Waverly, Ohio, only to find out the place was closed. The lady on the phone failed to tell me that location was closed that Saturday, setting up the reservation anyway and saying they opened at 10AM. When I arrived at the location, there was no answer at the door or phone, and when I called the company, they told me that one was closed for the holiday. I was then told to try the next closest location, roughly 20 miles away from where I was moving. When I arrive there, I was told they did not have the keys to their 15-ft truck and was not offered an alternative other than to drive another 30 miles up into Chillicothe. Arriving there, I had my daughter and daughter-in-law go in, as at this point all the driving had aggravated the arthritis in my knees to the point I could not walk. My daughter-in-law had to leave the building for the man's rudeness at this location, and I was told by my daughter that he not only was going to refuse to help us without a reservation, since the one we had was canceled, but that the 15 ft truck was for local use only. He also was going to charge us significantly more for it, and we had to pay over twice the price for a larger truck than we needed. When I arrived back to my home, I was informed by my daughter-in-law that not only was the gas gage not filled as the paperwork promised, I also did not receive the dolly I had ordered either. What should have been a few minutes ended up taking over three hours, I lost my movers I spent over $400 on due to not being there when they arrived, and a move that should have been a couple days at the most has turned into five days and it is still not completed. I was informed by a Daniel Harris I would be refunded for everything, but that has not happened as of yet.

The transmission to the uhaul was going out. As soon as you hit 40 mph you could not go a mile per hour faster or you would have wrecked. The truck had some major front end suspension issues. As soon as you hit 41 mph it would get death wobble. And lastly everytime i came to a stop the truck died. Luckily we was just moving things 1 mile down the road

Smelled like marijuana, low tire alert, covered in mud, step adhesive strip was bent and peeling, and took a moment to find gas opening, Nice room to load, nice backing camera, easy checkout and drop-off, nice desk staff, laser key nice, good on gas. Overall, I’d use again, but check before approving.

Returned with over half a tank when I picked up was only at 1/2 a tank. Said would email me receipt later. Got email charged me for fuel and said wasn't at half ...... I even asked if wanted to check truck and make sure everything was correct said no. Not a good way to do business to charge for fuel when it wasn't needed after the customer leaves. Also had ordered a 20' truck no one ever called or anything like email said. Got there and had only 26'.

Tryed having truck closer to where I live but had to drive 19 miles out of my way to pick it up n deliver it back. So I was charged those miles on top of the miles I used to actually move. Also the service was poor. I won't recommend that location to anyone.

Just a bummer I made reservations in advance and uhaul accepted my order for a place in my town, but then turned out a few days later they said they wouldn’t have it so I had to go to another location 30 miles from my house. Just adds up when you pay by the mile. But the location was fine and transaction was smooth

Provide refunds for fuel and mileage when units must be picked up and returned at different locations then what is closest to to their home and when there is a delay in registering the fuel on the gas gauge and there is more fuel when returned than when the unit was picked up. Horrible customer service at the counter and when calling in to customer service. The only exception was the last lady I spoke to. I have used UHaul many times in the past with no issues, this time was absolutely horrible.

I was to pick truck up at 7am had to drive 40 min to get it because they had a truck where I was then they didn’t and called me back so go there at 10 till 7 like it says will not let me check in to get truck they don’t have the 24/7 at this place after I called the day before to confirm it so I sat there an hour to get truck it was a mess had to drive it 70 ex miles to get to where I was going so it counts me 70 ex dollars never had this problem before bad bad service this time

U haul representative was late, my reservation was not ready in time. I only drobe the teuck 50 miles. The contract estimated fuel needed was 5.9 gallons. I put 16 gallons in the truck and i was still charged a fee. I tried talking to the uhaul representative about it and she told me "i dont care". When I made the reservation I was told there was not a 25ft truck like I requested. When I picked up the 20ft truck, there were 2 26ft ft trucks available.

It wasn’t the pick up locations fault. But I arrived before 8 AM and couldn’t pick my truck up because the U-Haul app wasn’t working correctly. Which caused me to be late to my movers who were there at 8 AM and are paid by the hour so thanks U-Haul not

Provide netting for moms attics so that items do not fall from it. Yes generally you have furniture to block but sometimes you won’t. I moved a 5x6 shed this time, and stored stuff up in the moms attic but had nothing to block it in. I didn’t push the shed back because I wanted it by the door. But nothing fell in transport. Just thought it would be an good extra for the next person.
