This location only has one driveway entrance and was very crowded with trucks. Employee made check in simple and easy. I received email receipt very quickly.

Gunder was very helpful. I had originally been told over the phone by a national U-HAUL specialist that a car transport trailer would work correctly with my truck, but I had some concerns. Sure enough when I hooked it up, it wasn’t a safe fit. I brought it back and Gunder let me return it sight unseen. Gunder also stayed out in the hot sun to make sure that I did get my next trailer hooked up. The first transport trailer had minor damage that was scheduled for repair, but Gunder was also able to replace those parts on his own for me. Very good in person customer service.

I will NEVER recommend Uhaul to anyone ever! It was a complete nightmare of an experience. We were delayed 3 hours because uhaul can’t get its shit together. Sure I understand a pickup location being changed day of because people drop off stuff wherever they please, but I called to confirm and when given the new location the equipment was broken there and the local dealer was incredibly rude and dismissive. Then we were sent to another location where the AT they upgraded us to did not properly fit our car. We were upgraded to an AT because there weren’t any locations that had the trailer we we reserved. I understand wanting to turn around equipment as soon as possible and minimizing the number of days between return and when someone can reserve that piece of equipment, but you HAVE GOT to allow some more buffer! This experience was ridiculous. I will literally NEVER use uhaul again.

The place, equipment and personnel were fine, the phone tree sucked and I doubt that I ever will go through the hassel of phoning or email again. There are local little guys here that are easier to work with. The only reason I tried U-Haul was scheduling, won't make that mistake agin.

The lot was overflowing and was very difficult to maneuver in. A costumer in front of me was told to return her rental to that location and was then turned away by the customer service rep at the counter due to lack of space. The rep Was short with her and just told her to call the main number to find another location. When she called, The person on the other end of the line asked to talk to the rep and they proceeded to engage in an internal argument over the phone in front of all the customers. It was very unprofessional. Had it happened to me I would have been extremely upset. However, the rep assisting me was very pleasant and helpful.

The door on the trailer was stuck in upright position. I had to stick hand up inside the door area to get it down because the lock was closed. It sliced my friends hand open trying to help.

I returned the truck with 3/4 of a tank of fuel as instructed. Upon arrival there was know body working to confirm nor deny the truck came back with the right amount of fuel or that the truck was in the same condition as it was when I took it. The following day I was charged inaccurately for the fuel charge. This is not acceptable. I want a full refund for the fuel charge ASAP. Someone needs to call me to discuss this.

I rented a small truck, found out that it wouldn’t work, I picked it up at night and took it back first thing in the morning to exchange for another one. I paid the $14. Insurance and rented blankets. Even though I didn’t use the blankets, they charged me twice for it. Also the $14. And although I didn’t use the truck for 24 hours got charged full price on that one too. $64. For a truck picked up 10:00 pm and exchanged at 9:54 am, I think that is a bit much. But that’s Uhaul policy.

I rented a 10 foot truck for 4 hours and the representative at the location charged me for a 2 day rental charge. I spent over 60 minutes with another Uhaul rep trying to figure what the charge was for. I’ll never rent from Uhaul again and always use Penske I hope this is not a common practice of Uhaul since most people don’t review their final receipts

My comments relate to your customer service people...was told at pickup that we could drop off trailer after hours by having an account with uhaul and checking it in that way. Account did not work. Called uhaul..wasted time with one person who said she did not recommend dropping it off unattended and that we would be liable if anything happened. Explained to her what agent had said at pickup...she eventually told me we had to call another number and speak to customer service...she could not explain to me why she wasted my time when she was not the one that could help me. While on hold another customer was dropping off their trailer and recounted his Call to customer service and the same thing they told me...he said his agent said they could do after hour drop off also. Customer service came on and said basically the same thing but said they noted the drop off in the computer. Really need to get your practices in line, whatever they may be, between your agents and customer service people as they are not doing you any favors. How are trailers to be checked in when businesses are closed? Uhaul will not be my first choice for truck/trailer rental in the future.
