The location and staff were great. However, the UHaul online booking was a disaster. Save yourself the inevitable disappointment and book directly with the pickup location, do NOT be fooled by the online "reservations". Despite an online resevation being made over a month in advance, and an automated text reminder telling me to pre-register (which I had already done), I got a voice mail 2 days before the pickup saying there was no 6 x 12" enclosed trailer available, but they had thoughtfully arranged a 5 x 8" flatbed. Very helpful for moving furniture... Ended up renting a cube van, and my expenses went from $29.95 to over $200 with gas.

The lady inside said she was told that there was only one rental book later that day.i would have to wait for the owner to return as he was the only one that could do uhaul rentals. She told us he would be about 20 minutes.we ran across road to pick up a coffee a d use restroom . Returned 10 minutes later went Inside . She says you just missed him he just left to take his kid to school. He will be back shortly but said that he has no rentals booked. So we waited again. When he did finally arrive back he was very rude and almost annoyed we were there. I said I have a rental booked. . He said he new of none I showed him the booking on the phone and he then found it. . He then told me that if I wasn't going to return it to the same location I couldn't have the rental. I said I had planned on returning it to his store again. I was also told that I had to have it back by 8 am rhe next morning as it was booked and I would be charged extra if I want on time . Finally. We get rental truck.26 foot only one I could find withing a 2 hr radius of home. Open truck find a part of a joint on the floorboard ...something spilled on floor mats..sticky brownish liquid all over the cup holder console... I put my drink into the cup holder and and looked at the other spills on the dash.i had already been there an hour and was late to meet my moving crew so I just left after taking photos. The owner was already gone on again before I had the truck started.. As I started to pull out my coffee fell on the floor as the drivers side of the holder was broken and the sping arm didn't hold my coffee..I was unaware of this as the stick stuff on the holder made the arm feel like it was spring loaded . I returned the truck st 1 am did the self checkout. And went to put keys in drop box. No box anywhere . Used the cost feature on uhaul explained no box and sent photos of building. Service rep said oh sorry you will have to.come back when the location is open. Not gonna happen . So I found a safe place to hide the keys and called the store and left a message on their machine with key location. .start to finish I had a 20 hr day. Getting home at 230 am . 930 am my phone rings. It's a girl at the uhaul location. Um wee having trouble finding the keys for the truck. So I said were they not in the drop box? She says we don't have one here. So I asked where I should haven't them and was told well most people come back when we're open .so I said we'll I left you a voice mail with the location of the keys. Oh well um we're having that fixed right now its not working. So I explained they were under the Rubbermaid tote right beside the entrance door . This was their salt bin. Oh ok Thanks. Um how was your rental.?I told her it was filthy .. she says oh .. well were really busy and must not checked it. Sorry.. Great uhaul experience at this location. NOT! I rent several trucks a year. This is by far the worst rental yet. Also the steering wheel had to be held abkut a â…“ of a turn from center for the Truck to go down the road straight.muat have been to busy at the alignment shop to to set the wheel to center when that work was done too...

Larry Z.I ordered a big truck. When I arrived, I was told I couldn't have it and was given a small one (even though the big one was there). NO explanation was given, no matter how many times I asked. The kid behind the counter was great, but because I didn't get the big truck, I had to make 3 trips, and even then I couldn't finish my move! Not impressed!

ROBERTEDWARD Y.Not send your customers so far to pick up a truck that they really need, give options if you don't have truck size available near customer give other size as option this was not given to me so had to go all the way out spent a lot in gas and to take it to where I moved is far and the drop off location was also far away from where we moved non in town and location in Woodstock horrible to find with all the road closures what's driving so much that all I filled in gas got used looking for the drop off location. Not impressed with the whole experience and will be adding my review in goggle.

brian M.Upon pick up, was told not to use 4ways or turn lights on unless we absolutely have to, due to a power drain issue, the radio was also disconnected do to this issue as well... Lopsided drivers seat due to multiple springs missing.. exhaust fumes in cabin while truck was stopped Horrible! Very very un safe vehicle I was given. I have been trying to phone into customer support to speak to someone and I keep getting hung up on! Would love it if a manager called me back ASAP! 519-217-4903
