Back wasn't swept out when we picked it up and the online pictures didn't reflect/show the scratches in paint on both sides or that the fuel cap cable was broken. Dolly was a small one not an appliance dolly but we made it work.

A place to park would be nice and prompt attention to our rental check in avoiding u haul calling us 3 days later wanting to know why we didn't return the trailer promptly.

No one there to take in the drop off trailer even though it was during posted hours! My wife had to call a local teacher friend of my son's to help her unhook the trailer! Very poor.

I was given the run around when I first got the uhaul I was told on the phone the night before that it was gonna be in Salina Ks and then the next morning when I called the 800 number I was told it was in Ellsworth Kansas which was 45 miles away from my location I also ordered a dolly and was not provided with one even when I asked for it and still got charged for it. The last lady I talked to on the phone to the 800 was kind about giving me 40 extra miles since I was out of my way to get the uhaul. I feel like there needs to be better communication about what and where you are ordering. I was over charged and was told that since I was over charged that if I had went over in miles or didn’t fill up with enough gas it would cover it well I got charged yet again and extra 20$ on top of that of being barely under on the gas. I probably won’t be using uhaul again

The couple the run this location are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and go out if their way on a multitude of levels to assist their customers. To them their customers are but just “buyers” they are human beings, meaning people whose lives are important in their own right. An individual feels as if they matter when they purchase from this couple.

When I reserve a 26 foot truck and this location has one but is reserving it for a "local", it doesn't make uhaul look very good

The location was closed when I dropped off the truck. had no contact with any personnel. Left keys and contract in drop box.

We reserved it for Hays, KS. Didn't get notified until 5pm day before that we had to drive 120 miles out of our way to get it. Their attitude is take or it leave, they do not care!!! Very poor customer service with reservations!!!!! I will probably do everything I can to AVOID using UHAUL again. Horrible customer service, Very over priced. Not a bit Happy with UHAUL!!

Terrible experience. I scheduled a pickup at 9:00 AM in Ellsworth, KS. I arrived to a poorly kept towing business with junk everywhere. Nobody was there and their phone was disconnected, after waiting for an hour and speaking with another UHaul customer also waiting for a trailer I called UHaul's main office and got the correct truck and car transport number( trailer wasn't hooked up). Keys were in the ignition, the cab was full of food trash and the windshield covered in bird crap. I realize that this isn't uhauls fault. The UHaul rep I spoke with assured me that she would send someone out to the location for review.

The location was fine. It was confusing, however, to get a local rental truck here. My reservation kept getting changed to Salina, which is 35 miles away. I now understand the reason (no local vehicles kept on site--only those that end up here after a one-way trip). Still, this should be made clear from the beginning. In the end, the rental worked out fine, thanks to a very helpful manager at Ellsworth.

Owner of the Service Center actually told me to go elsewhere if I didn't want to wait on his wife, the one who does the Uhaul part of the business, who left 5 minutes before my scheduled pickup and didn't return for 20 minutes. He knew full well there wasn't any other Uhauls within 40 miles or a Budget within the same distance. Very off-putting from a customer standpoint when the own tells me to do business elsewhere. His wife, the Uhaul person, was very friendly and helpful, once she actually arrived to help with the checkout process.

Reserved the truck in Salina Ks. and had to drive 35 miles to Ellsworth and pick it up. Then waited 20 minutes for someone to show up. wanted 4 dozen blankets and only received 3. Was told to check other places if I needed more. Went to leave with truck and parking brake was stuck on. Tires were low on air. After doing a truck check and getting back to Salina I had wasted an hour of my loading time that I was paying 2 guy for.

My preferred location for a pickup was Hays. I don't understand why U-Haul can't accommodate the customer more - get the truck to the preferred pickup location, rather than the customer going to the location.

Clean up. Entry room and office were disheveled and grungy. Dog food scattered on the floor. Expedite service. Service was slow. Clerk was with prior customers...but seemed to be operating at the pace of "molasses." Staff did help with hook-up.
