Directions for finding some locations are not always clear to out-of-town people giving directions over the phone.

Everything was great except the drop off of the trailer. Because it was after hours and no one was there I only have the picture I took to prove I dropped it off. It was left in front of the building where I was told to leave it, but anyone could take it after I left. How am I to be confident Uhaul would not say I didn’t deliver it and come after me to replace it. If I had not returned it till the next day during business hours their website says I would be charged $20 per hour past my drop off time. This is not a good policy or practice.

The business owner was nice and helpful but the location is simply too small to be a good option. No parking, not enough space to even hook up trailer without hanging out in street. I can’t imagine doing drop off there. I was very appreciative of their call to let me know they had the trailer there as text/email confirmations I received were conflicting and after spending 40 minutes on call to Uhaul (25 of those on hold) earlier I did not want to call again. Not their fault but I was not happy having to go to another town to pick up trailer...I didn’t read fine print evidently stating they can do that: really aggravating when you’re coordinating help, travel, people’s schedules and you don’t find out until the day before. Horrible business model from customer perspective We discussed that I needed half the number of blankets preordered but I was charged for all of them.

Arrived and there was no one inside or outside. No bell to ring. Radio on and nobody showed up for 10 minutes. Shop was open, door was unlocked, unsecured premises. He said he was the only one working when he got back.

I had to drive 45 miles out of the way to pick it up. Costing my approximately an additional $20 in gas and adding 2 hours of drive time. The cargo area of the truck wreaked of marijuana and had actual buds left behind. I’ve done the math on the rental and I’m pretty sure I was overcharged.

Hector at this location was friendly and helpful. He made the uhaul rental experience easy and positive. Uhaul's website inaccurately lists this uhaul pick-up at St. Louis and 1st Street, and google maps takes you to that area. But the pick-up is not at that intersection. Uhaul needs to update their website to accurately reflect 103 S. Railroad Ave, at Elite Automotive. Hector was very nice when we called to help us find the right location.

The automotive tow dolly that I rented for a long distance trip could use marker lights on the fenders. After the sun went down when out on the interstate it was difficult to see the trailer fenders in the dark of night. A couple of marker lights on the fenders would make it safer and easier to judge where the end of the dolly is.

We reserved the cargo can from a location close to home off of college and then when we went to pick up the van we were told we had to get it from another location that was over 15 miles out of our way which of course were charged for. We will be calling head quarters to try to get reimbursed.

I got my loading men directly advised by you, and they didn't do a very good job. 2 pieces of oak furniture now have 2 nasty, large scratches each in them and the microwave platter got shattered. Also, the frame for my 6-drawer dresser got so beat up that it started falling to pieces when it was unloaded. AND IT WAS OAK! P.S. NO FURNITURE PADS WERE USED TO PROTECT MY FURNITURE WHEN THEY MOVED STUFF OUT
