Pickup and drop off was easy and fast. Staff was helpful. Truck was clean and ran perfect. Was nervous for my first time but everything went smoothly.

Daniel TOk, so the Viroqua location, the workers was Excellent, he did everything within a good time.Reasoning it was extremely helpful. NOW for your TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT. EXTREMELY HORSE SHIT SERVICE. I originally hooked the pickup for this equipment at the lacrosse road street location. I chose this location Because it was the best place for pick up on my way into lacrosse.And best place for me to pick up the items I had purchased. I selected that on your website, Your website allowed me to select that location stating that it would have said equipment for pick up at that location. Now somewhere in your fine print on three pages Somehow I agree to the location to change upon anytime traffic decided. Your website is set up to upsell. It is not available to read your fine print properly. I was called the day before.My pick up that my location was changed to sparta wisconsin. Sparta is an extra forty minutes and i'm already Is three and a half hours to lacrosse. You Added an hour and a half to my drive. Upon getting to sparta turns out, THEY DID NOT HAVE SAID EQUIPMENT. Now I have wasted more time do to your Dispatch Traffic personal. Now I have to drive to Viroqua WI. So now we are adding another 40 mins just to pick up and an hour now to my items. I was not able to pick up my items on time so I had NO HELP LOADING AND HAD TO PAY MORE MONEY TO GET HELP TO LOAD. Your Dispatch traffic. Cost me a lot more then the $50 off my rental. You cost me $100 more + fuel + Unnecessary mileage + now the most valuable thing in the word TIME. You guys did nothing but waste my time.Money fuel mileage wear and tear on my Vehicle. I give this experience a negative five star rating to your Dispatch traffic department. Oh and by the way, I know you transfer equipment around, do to I have done transfers for you in the past. The location I was at was on the south side of LaCrosse on Jackson st.(my parents gas station and auto service business)We would transfer equipment to rose st, sparta, lacressent mn, also would prep equipment for pick up transfers to other locations. The business is still there and family ran now for 95 years but is no longer a u haul dealer. We left the uhaul program for may reasons but one of the main reasons was your Dispatch traffic. I can see the that area of uhaul will never improve in customer service and kindness.
Wyliam WI was referred to this location after having issues AGAIN with a mobile pick up at another location. Mark at Effinger was great and got us on our way quickly. That said, the truck share process never works and I have had issues on 2 of my 3 attempts to rent a truck or trailer with this method. If U-Haul is going to continue to offer this option it needs a lot of work to become functional. There are very good reasons why we select the size, time and pickup location during the reservation process but more often than not it seems that on the day of your rental you just get whatever is available at the time. This renders the reservation process completely useless and a waste of time for the customer and U-Haul. With this many repeat issues I will seriously consider other options for my future rental needs.

daniel sI started the process almost 3 weeks before i meed a van. When I learned vans weren't available for 1 way trips, I reserved a 10' truck. UHaul makes a big deal about guaranteeing availability, but the guy at Effingers was never available by phone. 2 days before the move i got a text that what i needed wasn't available unless i went an additional hour out of my way. So the Effingers guy pushed a bigger truck for more money on me. There was no time to make other arrangements so I was stuck. The truck was dirty and had some damage that he didn't care about noting before we left. He said I could try the UHaul 800 number for help but that got me nowhere. Super frustrating experience.
