Trailer had a strong gas Oder. I told the person hooking trailer up and he said well the person before me must of had a motorcycle in it. I said I was going to move a couch and it would make the couch smell. They didn't offer a resolution. They only had this one trailer and no one else in the area had one. I didn't think you f it till now but they should of offered me the next size up, at no charge. I used two cans of Disinfectant spray to mask odor. This renter should check the equipment when it is returned. Obviously they didn't. They didn't open the door to check prior to me taking it and fortunately I opened and checked very poor service at bestRONALD J.

The truck I ordered was not at the site when i went to pick it up. The business owner said it was nearby and when he called that other site had already rented it. How can this happen. I was charged for insurance that I did not ask for and was charged for 78 miles when in fact I went 18. I never even met with a person at Ed's affordable because it was closed and the normal dealer I go through did not have the truck so my reservation was moved to Ed's I am very upset and I am disputing these charges.Jody B.

Worst experience ever. The truck that I reserved was unavailable, so they gave me the next size down. As a result, I had two round trips rather than one. Double the mileage, gas, and hired labor. Instead of a $600 move it went over $1200. Never again.Roger E.
The folks at Eds were great! I called them last minute after driving 20 miles to my uhaul pick up and being told â€œwe dont know where your truck isâ€¦we've been calling them for two days.! How about calling me and letting meâ€¦So I dont waste my time! I was told by the uhaul person that she would call me one way or anotherâ€¦nothingâ€¦I looked on line later that eveningâ€¦Ed's had. 26' one wayâ€¦i calledâ€¦he's one mile from our locationâ€¦within an hour i was back home loading the truck for our move.im gonn say that its best just to call direct! the right side mirror was loose and my trip was very dangerous, I was alone in the truck and not accessing the right lane was an almost impossible task, I almost had an accident because of the problem with the right side mirror of the truck!Bruno S.

I tried this location due to high ratings. Jason helped me check out and check back in. He was friendly and efficient, plus did all the "heavy lifting" to connect and un-connect the trailer to my vehicle. I received my email receipt within minutes of returning the equipment. Although this uHaul is further from my house than several others, they are by the far the best to deal with and will rent here in the future.MICHAEL S.

Provide some guidance on using a personal I-Pass transponder when driving through tolls in one of your rental vehicles. I did not know if this could be done and I looked into this. I found I could add the license plate of the vehicle I rented from you onto my I-Pass account and designate that the registered plate would only be active for specific hours over specific days. This is good to know for my future rentals too, and your customers would benefit from not having to wonder whether this is even possible.John S.

I did not receive an appliance dolly which was very inconvenient and slowed down my whole move. I didn't have time to run around to other Uhaul stores (which were probably closed on Sundays anyway) to get one, as the customer service person suggested. This should be noted UP FRONT to the customer if one is not available.Kelly V.

The truck was dirty and smelled so bad of cigarette smoke when I received it that I had to keep the windows open. I still was coughing the entire time. I returned the truck at the same gas level as when I received it but the dealer still charged me for 2 gallons of gas. I did had a spill in the carrying part of the truck that I did my best to clean up. I expected to be charged a fee for that but they charged me $100.00. I rent multiple times a week and the most I have ever been charged a cleaning fee more that $25.00. I suggest renting from a cooperate store. They keep the vehicles clean and don't look for ways to make extra money off their customers.TERRY M.

Two things: 1.) The windshield had a crack that was across the width of the entire window. Normally, I would have not taken a vehical in that condition. 2.) Your Published rate of $19.95 is very misleading, because the .86 cents per mile is very high. .30 cents is high, and that is what Penske charges. Good way to get a customer, but a bad way to get a return customer.JAMES W.
