When my fiance left his wallet sitting in the truck I rented, the clerk who checked the truck in, had made sure to call me first thing in the morning and got it back to me right away! Thank goodness

I already input all of the required information on the U-Haul app in advance just to be asked the same information again in person and spend another 20+ minutes on registration at the shop. There was a $1.45 toll that was sent to me 3 weeks after the facts, and the shop/U-Haul charged $1.00 on top of it for “admin fee.” Not a material amount, but if your model is set up to upcharge every dollar you can get from your customers, I hope you’re not expecting a raving review or retention.

Cindie CI rented this truck to move a vintage dining room table and chairs. I assumed that the truck box would be clean, so I didn’t check before I left. Big mistake. The box was full of screws, nails, and other construction debris. I also rented blankets to protect my furniture during the short drive. Half of the blankets were covered in dirt and debris, the other half were clean, but they were wet. I spent 20 minutes cleaning the truck out and shaking out blankets before I could load anything up. I mentioned this to the shop owner and not even an apology. I have rented from U-Haul more than 10 times and never had such a poor experience. I will never use this location again.
WILLIAM LFirst... the person working there was great! Very helpful. Second... the "facility"... is at a roadside minimart/smoke-shop. NOT a U-Haul facility. It was what it was, but very sketchy. Again, the man working there was kind and helpful. No issues, so the drop-off went fine.

Wajeeh SEverything was handled very well but I recommend lighting in the field where some trucks are parked.
RANDA ZI was asked to back the trailer into a spot on the field. However, I have no experience backing a trailer and it took 45 minutes to do it. Note - the person running the drop off location also did not know how to back in the trailer. Doesn't really make sense to serve as a drop off location for trailers if the the person working there can't park one.

michael gThe vendor was very nice , but the location is bad, and the truck and equipment t were in poor shape. I picked up the truck at 10am and he insisted it be returned at 5pm. When I returned the truck, he told me to park in a field and to bring the dolly and blankets to his shop. I am a disabled veteran and he made me take two trips walking the equipment to his shop.
JAMES SUhaul in general not very pleased with. Reserved a 26 footer truck 2 weeks out for the Shoreline location, day of found out they did not have a 26 footer so had to get a 20 footer which was at a different location which was farther so we ended up spending more in mileage then we should have. No discounts were available no compromises, no sorry nothing, very bad customer service. Will not be renting here again.
Stephanie HI would recommend this location for fast, courteous service.but avoid the leary way ballard locations at all costs. they are liars and cheats, and left me holding the bag, as well as who I was to haul the car for. I tried to reserve a trailer a day in advance and I was told not to worry, they have plenty of trailers, just show up in the morning.well, I showed up in the morning and guess what? no trailers avaiable. had to totally re-structure my day as well as the people who were counting on me. this u-aul branch should be avoided at all costs

Donald SHorrible experience. Very condescending. Vehicle has many issues and should not be rented. I was charged more than double my online quote, the guys at the pick up place was very rude. When the vehicle had issues we called roadside assistance, they were incredibly rude, very condescending. When asked to speak to a manager, we were transferred to customer service. We currently have an open ticket and no one has called us to check to see if we made it to our destination ok. Very poor customer service. Very horrible experience. We are still waiting for a phone call.

Despite having rented from you multiple times from the same account, the app wouldn’t let me check in without a passport or other things I didn’t have because I was standing on the side of the road at the location. You should have handled this ahead of time. It did have the option to call a reference, but I’d have to find someone available and let them know you’d be calling etc. (it’s 2023 people). I gave up and waited for in person check in. Once inside I had the keys in 5min without any of that other stuff. Being able to pick up outside of business hours is a great idea but the requirements weren’t communicated ahead of time and seemed silly given I’ve rented before.
Rowan MI just don't like the vibe at so many of these independent shops. I pulled up and parked in a dirt lot with a lot of junk laying around. The fellow inside was nice/great, so no strikes against him, and I guess you get what you get with the location. It just doesn't reflect well on a brand (in my opinion) when you pull up.

Danold CThe salesman said the gas tank was 3/4 full, it was only at 1/8 full of gas. We reserved a 15' truck but ended up with a 10' truck. I was supposed to get $50.00 off from corporate because the original truck we reserved was at a location that was no longer in business and we waited and tried to get in for over 1.5 hours. We never got our $50 off, we never got our original 15' truck, thus we drove more miles than we needed to. The salesman refused to give us the $50 off. He was rude and short with us. I will not ever go back there.

MaryEllen KOnline picture showed a nice paved parking (safe) lot that i would park in. There was little space but parking where i pulled out the Uhaul was okay. I was happy to even be able to leave my personal car behind. Tek was very nice and helpful. He did not shame this woman for being a little slow in understanding some details. :) My first time in completing this.
