Owner/Operator at this location is a POS. Arrived late. Was rude to me. Told me I needed to use another card when his equipment wasn't working properly, I called my bankâ€¦ they confirmed it was his terminal that wasn't sending signal through. Vehicle was dirty and not cleaned prior to rental. Upon returning vehicle he asked if it was clean, i responded as clean as when I received it, so noâ€¦ he then said I complained to much. I can't believe U-Haul allows for operators like this to drag their name and quality of service through the mid. I will never use this location again.MARIO C.

I did not book my rental at this location but was sent to it based on availability. I had to drive out of the way to and from this location and had to pay mileage for going to an inconvenient location. The truck was very dirty and had damage all over it. Customer service had fuel levels misleveled and didn't tell us how to find the truck number, so we had to locate another staff. Your app wouldn't let me take pictures and I didn't want to get back in line, so I called your helpline. It said it was a 5-10 min wait but I ended up waiting over 15 min for your mobile team to not listen to me (I said the app photo feature wasn't working and allowing me to proceed with mobile check in of the truck, just the photo part) and instead, sent me a another link and insisted my first link was expired (it wasn't, I had the same problem). So then I went back in line to get verification because I didn't want to be overcharged. I came in at 9:30, I left at 10:45. The Dropbox was not found or in a lit area. There was a lot of debris and a fairly in maintained shed behind it. I didn't feel safe alone there. We ended up handing the keys to someone that came out and it felt weird since I didn't know if he came out from the building. But he seemed like he knew the place?LISA C.

The truck smelled of cat urine and the windshield was coated in oil where it was hard to see. The parking is very limited and the guy told me I had the truck for 24 hours not 4 for the end of day where he closes 2 hours before uhual closes. I am not satisfied with his location.DAVID T.

I used the app and Tek came out and said we should come in to get the key. The app information did not transfer to the shop's computer. I was worried about running late to meet a client (I'm an organizer and the truck rental was for her). So I left my husband in the shop and went to the client's home. When it was time to take the last load to the dump, the dump had closed. I called Tek and he assured me that everything would be okay, No extra charge and he was very understanding about my stress earlier in the day. This place is right across from where I live and I had no idea! Found it thanks to the U Haul location finder feature, and it's run by a nice man who also operates a smoke and gifts shop. Inside his shop there's a small section where you can get moving things, too. I got a variey pack of bungee cords, just in case. The 10' moving truck was clean with a full tank, and the process was smooth and easy (I also did a pre-check in online which I highly recommend). It was the perfect size to fit in all the things from my condo. I highly recommend for those in Edmonds, MLT, and nearby!Michelle L.

Stay the fuck away from this location. He was 25 minutes late, showing up 25 minutes after his store supposedly opened at 9 (so 9:25 arrival), the Uhaul system was down so he almost turned me away, and the truck was dirty. I'll go somewhere else next time, thanks. And so should you.JOSHUA G.

This is not a full U-Haul rental center. It has one employee on duty, minding the store and U-Haul He was constantly on his cell phone texting while I waited...and waited. He started off somewhat pleasant at first; then, he quickly changed when I expected him to hook up the trailer to my car. He said he doesn't have to do it, it's a courtesy and I wasn't being very nice. I tried to explain to him the 2 hours I spent on the phone with U-Haul the previous day because the trailer I reserved to pick up at 7am was not available and I was told I had to take a ferry to get one, or drive a minimum of 2 hours to another location. The trailer at his location was my only option and I couldn't pick it up until 10am. This disrupted my plans to be on the road from Washington to California by 11am. He finally hooked up the trailer, while continuously asking me if this was right? I told him that I had never hooked one up and that I expected him to know if it was done correctly or not. I took pictures of him. The man appeared frustrated and angry with me, as I was with him. Then, I asked about the lights? He said he does not hook them up and I had to do it. Then he told me that I do not have a â€œconnectorâ€ pack and I needed to drive to an auto parts store up the street about a mile or so to buy one. I reminded him the trailer attached to my car did not have working lights and was told â€œit's just up the streetâ€ and it wasn't a big deal to drive without taillights. He said if I was staying local, he would suggest doing without??! Long story short, after waiting on a tow truck it was discovered my car had a â€œconnectorâ€ aka adapter, which had been expertly installed along with my hitch by U-Haul two years previously. There was something wrong with the adapter. I asked the man again what should I do? He shrugged his shoulders and said it wasn't his problem. The tow truck driver was kind enough to locate an actual U-Haul center with a mechanic about 10 minutes away from our location. He even offered to follow behind me and not allow other cars to get behind me while enroute to U-Haul. He waited until he knew I was being helped. Then the waiting began on the arrival of the mechanic who was almost an hour late to start his shift. I eventually returned home to start loading at around 4pm, 6 hours after I picked up the trailer!!! During this reservation I found a complete disregard for my time and money ( I had to pay for the time a helper had waited for me to return with the trailer: two hours paid for no services)! This was the worst customer service experience I had ever witnessed with U-Haul and, I had used them 5 times in the past two years. I have a complaint for a supervisor to address the issue and was told I would be called back within 72 hours by the customer service rep (whom, by the way, was extremely polite, respectful and empathetic with my situation). Due to my experience in the past week I'm not holding my breath for a call back. I will most likely have to call ...again..,,wait on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes to speak to someone, tell them the story, get transferred several times and then get told I'll get a call back.CARLA S.
