Nothing cleaned. Staff hooked trailer up and didn’t explain anything or check anything with me to make sure the vehicle was properly functioning. Upon return to Denver location it was discovered that the clip to the hitch was missing and the staff at the Kansas location never repaired prior to renting the trailer to me

I rented the trailer by calling a U-Haul #. I was wanting a smaller trailer in Iola, KS but one was not available unless I went to Vaassar which was about an hour away instead of a half hour. I was told I could get the smaller trailer for $30 if I would agree to go to Vassar. I agreed to take a larger trailer so I wouldn't have to go the farther distance. However, about three hours before I was supposed to pick the 6x12 up in Iola I received a phone call telling me it was not available in Iola and I would have to go to Vassar to pick it up! As this was Memorial weekend and I was also decorating graves this was extremely aggravating and a major inconvenience! You need to have more trailer available at the locations so this does not happen!

I was very pleased with the help we were given from employees. We are older and everyone jumped in to assist in hooking the trailer on for us and removing the unit.

It took an inordinate amout of time to process the rental. As it turned out there were issues with the Uhaul web site. The person at the pick up store was vey helpful but the person at Uhaul said I needas to come back later to pick up the rental (about 1-1/2 hours later). That is a 30 minute drive for me each way. Not good customer service from Uhaul.

Suspension on the dolly as it is noisy on bad streets but other than that it went great, easy to put the car on and strap down.

The Ottawa location didn't have the truck size I needed. As a result, I had to drive an extra 22 miles to pick up the tuck and 22 miles to drop it off. This added $47.96 to my bill (increasing it by 55%). It also consumed abut four more gallons of gas, which added another $8.36 to my cost. . I would have appreciated it if U-Haul would apply a credit for the extra miles, I had to drive, since a truck wasn't available at the Ottawa location. Something to consider. . The people at the store were friendly. . There was only one register for both U-Haul rentals and store transactions, so there was a bit of a wait there. . The person who worked with me showed me the truck explained the features and terms of the contract, and walked it down with me, showing all the "x" decals that marked pre-existing damage. . Ability to night drop was appreciated.

It is not right we have to drive 50 miles to pick up a trailer and 50 miles back home. That is not user friendly. I feel like every u haul dealer should have trailers available without having to drive all that way. Either that or when one is reserved it should not be rented out if it is not going to be available on the date you reserved it for. Other than that the trailer was in good shape.

If you have to go far out of your way to pick up a truck b/c one is not available, Uhaul should give a gas credit or discount. I had to pick up my 26' truck 40 minutes from my desired location. The E store was very friendly and helpful!

Dirty, dirty and dirtier! This location was awful, the bathroom was a mess, the store is a disaster and the truck with filthy! THe lady was less than helpful, overall not good.

I filled the truck up to the appropriate place and drove 1.5 miles to the location. I was charged for several gallons of gas that I shouldn't have been. I turned it in after hours, and didn't go inside or speak with any personnel at the location.

Just couldn't understand why we had to travel so far out of Topeka for the rental. The clerk I spoke to was very nice however. When I spoke to the National office I kept getting transferred from site to site til everything was shut down for the evening. The clerk at Vassar actually took time to answer questions, which I appreciated.

Have the person who is filling out the paper work knowing how, very slow about 45 min. to get it done. Paid for five pads and only got three. I would not go back to these people again,

Our experience with Misty was flawless!!! She explained everything as we went thru the process, therefore, there were no surprises when we returned the truck. Misty was very friendly and knowledge of her job. Upon arrival of returning the truck she met me as I was parking it. She greeted me with a smile and we made casual conversation. It was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this location to anyone. Thank you, Misty, you rocked!!!!

I reserved a truck online and received a call the following day by a woman who told me there were no trucks available for the time I requested and I asked if there was nothing I could rent and she responded in the rudest tone that SHE was in charge of the entire Kansas rental and part of Missouri and there was Nothing I would be able to rent. She was very nasty and I decided then I would never use uhaul again. I decided she had to be wrong and called the U haul in Vassar Kansas. Misty answered and was very helpful and nice and said there were no trucks available but suggested a trailer that she had available that would be perfect for what we needed. When we arrived she was so very nice and even helped us hook up the trailer. If it hadn't been for Misty's kindness I would have never used U haul again. Thank you Misty for turning around a bad experience with Uhaul.

I was told by the Iola KS location that I was free to drop the trailer anywhere (lady was RUDE). I drove an extra distance to the Vassar KS location and now I have been charged $8 for dropping it off in the wrong location.. U-Haul ripoff. You can't even call U-Haul to talk to anyone. I was disconnected 3 times trying to call... This will be the only GOTCHA you will ever get from me.

There isn't any need for improvement for the U haul locaiton west of Pamona specifically, but for the U Haul company as a whole, I think it would be beneficial to open a location in Ottawa, the biggest city in Franklin County :)

I contacted the E Store on Tuesday before I needed the UHaul in Rapid City, SD on Saturday and made a reservation. I asked where I would pick up the UHaul and she did not know. I asked if I returned it early, if I would be given credit and she said "Yes." I asked where to return the UHaul and she said to her location. We returned the UHaul in less than 2 days, at noon on Monday. I called at 2 pm on Monday to let her know it had been returned as the store was closed, but left a voice mail on her phone. I also stopped by Tuesday afternoon at the store and she was not available, but left my phone number for her to call me. She called after 4:30 and told me she had put the time down as 10:45 the previous night and said "Oh, I guess I should have called you." I guess she does not listed to her voice mails! I asked if I would get the credit for returning the vehicle early and she said she would talk to her supervisor. I have not heard from her again. My suggestion: Please call UHaul direct if you want to rent a vehicle or want any information and do not call this store.

The location in Vassar, KS was excellent. The service I received at the location on S. Topeka Blvd. in Topeka, KS was TERRIBLE! I Reserved a trailer two days in advance, when I went in to pick up that reserved trailer I was told they didn't have it. Long story short that location sent me out the door without taking care of me when they made the mistake. I needed the trailer for a cross country move!! This single experience will insure that I NEVER do business with U-haul again!!!

My service was good. I ordered the service for Lawrence KS.....but I was sent to Vassar KS to pickup the trailer. This was a 45 mile drive one-way. I like to use U-Haul....but I do not appreciate a 90 mile round trip pickup location.

This was extremely out of the way for us to pick up our UHaul. We live in Topeka, Kansas and had to drive 30 miles to pick up our truck even though there are 4 UHaul locations in the city of Topeka. We booked our UHaul 1 month in advance and were told this is the closest location. I find that hard to believe. The UHaul reps also called the incorrect phone number to confirm our reservation which caused additional problems because we were unaware of where we were supposed to pick up our truck. They also did not indicate where we were supposed to drop our truck off. The phone support folks were not helpful in figuring this out. We were also told that we'd be charged extra if we dropped our truck off late but we had to pick it up early b/c we were driving so far.

The cab and back of the of the truck was clean. However the ramp that is attached to the truck had snow and ice on it. One of the movers fell backwards on the ramp and a couch fell on top of his legs. I am also having a cost dispute with the company. This has been the worst moving experience I have ever had. The location I was going to use orginally had a problem with the 26 ft. truck I was going to rent. So they sent me 6 miles down the road to rent a 17 ft. truck. Because of the smaller truck I had to make two trips instead of one, and I had to pay for the additional milage. I will never use U-Haul again.
