I have rented and dropped at many locations, this was by far the best experience yet.

OLAV FWhile my overall experience with a recent trailer rental from U-Haul could be considered Average, this should be compartmentalized as 1. An Excellent review for the customer service I received at the rental location itself - Dulux Paints in Trenton, and 2. A Poor rating for U-Haul corporate. The CSR at Dulux Paints afforded Excellent & attentive customer service in order to try to find an answer to Why a 4' x 8' trailer - rented for one day, and advertized at $14.95 for a daily rental - was initially coming to over $80. Even though I confirmed that I only needed the trailer for one day, U-Haul Mgmt. tried to offer an explanation that it was a package deal that took a $14.95 daily rental to over $80 for two days. A 'package deal'? But, I only needed the trailer for one day - and no one at U-Haul could amend the terms of my Rental Contract to reduce the length of my trailer rental to one day. U-Haul, I get it; you have hundreds of trailers out on rental at any given time. However, I felt like I was taken advantage of with my trailer rental - and hope others read this review and make their own arrangements accordingly. While someone from U-Haul was supposed to call me the day before my trailer rental pickup date, no one did call me - in order to confirm my trailer rental agreement. Poor customer service on the part of U-Haul corporate, resulting in an unpleasant experience ... compensated for somewhat by a pleasant interaction at the trailer pickup location; Thanks.

Pierre PStephanie was amazing, polite, efficient, prompt, had a 15 minute gap to pick up the cube van and it was ready to go for us. Great seamless transaction and price worthy. Would definitely deal with UHaul again

Glenroy EI called the next day and told them the equipment needed to be serviced..the front end shook and shaked if you drove over 70-75 kil and hour and when you put breaks on you could hear steal on steal..the truck unsafe and I would have taken it back but the truck was loaded for the move..

MICHAEL NWhen you make a reservation you should not be called 3 days before the move and inform that 26 ft isn't available and now have to do with a 20 ft. Was told I could pickup in Marmora the day I reserve the truck. Then it was changed to pickup in Trenton On. Very stressful experience. The bright side was the girl who worked the counter. Very nice and knowledgeable CH

REMI MThis last unit I rented must have missed maintenance inspection.Both tires though good in tread depth had severe weather cracks all around the perimeter No spare tire with unit Other than that your equipment your equipment still stands out from the crowd

STEPHEN GAir conditioning was not working, air bag warning light came on half way in the trip. I brought back the truck with the same amount of gasoline I picked it up with (a bit less than 1/2), why did you charge me for fuel???
Carmelo AThe only issue we had was the gas gauge not reading properly. At one moment it would say quarter full, next moment not even 5 seconds later it would say empty, and keep going back and forth like that.
KATHRYN TDeluxe paints representative was very friendly and professional. However, they reverted the online quote for my rental stating that the app gets wonky, and it charged me double when I got my closing statement. The good news was that the uhaul rep found the error over telecoms and I was refunded the extra charge within 3-5 business days. 10/10 would use uhaul again for their exceptional customer service and fair pricing.
Justin NStaff should have reassured me that they were aware of the large area of damage to the side of the truck.
