Mary BThe vehicle i drove both front tires were severely worn from improper toe in alignment. Had there been rain I would not have driven this vehicle. This vehicle should be taken out of service until tires replaced. Staff and facility were excellent and i would have no problem recommending them and renting from them again. This is strictly an equipment issue.

MONICA FThis location did not hook up the trailer I was told they didn’t do that.I’m 61 years old with back issues that was not possible.when I called the location which had no one on site That’s when I was told they didn’t do that and the only thing they could do was cancel the reservation I only was able to get the trailer because 2 other men came to pick up their rental they were kind enough to lift the12 foot trailer for me. After that I spent over 2hours on the main u haul line asking 5 different people to change my drop off location and was denied I told them that this wasn’t my location I originally picked and I could not physically lift it off my truck I was told they could not do anything. I obviously was very upset as the location did not follow u haul rules I even told them the only way I could drop off the trailer without help was to cut it off . I was only able to Leave it there because my wife got 2 of my children to drive 45 minutes to the drop off site. I have rented from your company many times and this was terrible

Steven NRhe staff was more then friendly at the location I picked up.... with the exception of the U-Haul being on a quarter tank of gas. When people are moving and under on a time limit not everything runs smoothly. I had to fill up while on the interstate praying I made it to the exit! I returned the U-Haul in a timely manner and and did not put fuel in it because of the time of night it was and the location. I called U-Haul and let them know I would be coming by to give the $30 for gas and was told a service fee if $15 was applicable as well. No problem. Then I looked and they had TRIED to charge me $78 and some change AFTER I called! Moving is stressful enough U-Haul, and times are tough for everyone. Why try to charge almost $40 more??! I will always pay what I owe but to keep customers stop charging for ridiculous things.

Keli MThe truck was sticky in the cup holders when I got it. I hope I’m not charged for that because it was a little dirty in there. But the cargo gate was so difficult to close. When you open the back it flies up but to bring it back down I had to put all my weight on the handle. It cut through my skin. It can’t be meant to be that hard. Also it lags in second gear. It sounds a bit off. But other than that the truck was great and the lady that helped me was nice and the check in/out process was easy

APRIL L | Overall ExperienceI had a faulty hitch experience and had to return the equipment due to an issue with it staying attached. The bolt that attached the trailer hitch was stripped and was not safe to use so I returned it before I could use it for the purpose I rented it for. It was not safe to use! I let the operator of dry ponds know but was not offered any discount or refund.

My pickup time at Countryside #2 on Hwy 321 in Lenoir was at 10:00. When I arrived, the office locked, the numbers to call on the door was both answering machines. Never recommend this location.

Morris MThe car dolly I rented was behind the gated and paved lot, instead of inside of it, meaning you have to drive through a very muddy back road. So be sure to tell your next customers to have an extra 10 bucks for a car wash after they're done getting and returning the trailer.
