GEORGE AFind a new location. The owner/operator was overwhelmed and i was supposed to pick up at 1030 am. I did all pre check in routine before even going to the location, so all I had to do was sign and get the key. I showed up to pick up my vehicle at 1015, By the time I left the location it was 11:15. And I was already checked in via the mobile app, as I know this expedited the process because I am a regular user of U-Haul services. Even though I was checked in on the app the owner had to go through all of the regular check in questions even though I had already answered them all in app, like how long I was renting and how any miles, etc. I never experienced this before at any other location when pre order my uhaul

JOHN WRemove this business location from public options. I spent 2 hours getting a 6x12 trailer from this location. He's not tech savvy, extremely slow & disorganized. In the end, I had to go to a tractor dealer nearby for help.

John DI've loaned the same trailer a few times and there's no jack on the trailer. This causes the Dealer you get a Jack to put it on the truck. Not when I get it home there isn't any way to unhook it.

THOMAS EThe site is a small office in the center of what appears to be a tractor tractor shop/storage site. The gentleman who runs this operation can be difficult to work with not because he is rude but because he has difficulty hearing and is very frank sometimes. The office to get the paperwork completed is very small and often there are 2 or 3 parties trying to complete their paperwork at once which makes things very uncomfortable times. The U-haul representative takes photo copies of driver's licenses even though we have to upload them to the U-haul website when we check in. These copies are sometimes laying in plain view on the desk which can create a privacy issue. If Drew Automotive didn't have basically the only feasible hours in the area and basically a monopoly on trailers, I won't go back.

Mark BThere was a mistake made by someone in "traffic" and the 6x12 trailer I reserved and needed was not available. The person in "traffic" contacted me to verify the reservation on Tuesday 7/30 and inform me that I would have to pick it up at Drew Automotive location rather than the location I had chosen. This was acceptable and I confirmed the reservation with new location pick up. Same person contacted me on Wednesday 7/31 and informed me that the 6x12 trailer was no longer available and I asked her to help me understand how I just confirmed less than 24 hours ago and she indicated the dealer didn't want to do business with me. My reply was that doesn't make any sense because I have never dealt with this business for anything. She confirmed that the dealer had identified a customer that was nasty and derogatory on the phone and that he didn't want to deal with that customer in person. The person in "traffic" incorrectly cancelled my reservation instead of the customer who had caused a problem, who the dealer still had to do business with. The result of this was that I had to settle for an 8X5 trailer and leave stuff behind to move at a later date (which I will not rent a U-Haul for). The person in "traffic" only proposed solution was that I could pick up a 6x12 trailer in Westport or Lake Placid which is not a reasonable alternative for me. Considering it was her mistake that created the situation the only acceptable solution would have been to get the trailers from either of the locations she proposed brought to the location she confirmed with me for pick up. It is unlikely I will waste my time renting from U-Haul ever again but the dealers at both locations provided good service.

Mark BI had no truck once I arrived because the people before didn't bring them back. I wasn't the only one with logistic problems. Gladly Dick was proactive and found me a truck but I lost 2 hours on my moving day and it was terrible. The day before my truck in Montreal got cancelled so I drove to PLattsburg to get one just to realize there was none there. More has to be done to avoid last minute cancelations and more reliable service, it's very cruel.
Valerie PThe jack of the trailer has been removed. I had to lift the tongue by hand when we returned the trailer (12x6). Given the weight, size and 2 axles, it is very dangerous to handle the trailer that way.

Cherie HI personally got along with the owner, yet his customer skills were lacking. He is an older gentleman who is having a difficult time hearing and working with the computer system. He mentioned that the system was having errors and extreme lag time. Yet when I mentioned about a reboot he stated why would that work. I observed him working with a customer that possibly was on the spectrum or had Parkinson's. The poor customer was having an extremely hard time with the owner. The owner was abrupt and at times raising his voice loudly to him. It was a very chaotic exchange. I waited for over an hour to get my reserved trailer. In the end I got it and he finalized my paperwork. After I left and was loading the trailer, he called and needed me to take a picture of the hitch and license plate. I hate calling someone out for age, I am not a spring chicken either, yet I do believe it is time to step aside or get help.
ken TThe absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I returned the trailer on time and in the parking lot. After unhooking the trailer he became very irate and and provided tons of attitude that it did not belong there. He proceeded to spin his tires all the way back to the trailer. I asked if he wanted it somewhere else. He grumbled and hooked the trailer up spinning his tires 20 feet in the gravel to put it somewhere out behind the building. I will never rent from him again and will go out of my way to give others business.

I parked the trailer in the same spot that I had retrieved it from and he yelled at me that he could park three trailers in that spot and I needed to move it over. When I parked it within a foot of the other cargo trailer, he still complained that he would have to move it again. I will definitely not recommend this location to anyone. Very displeased

Ross WThe man who "helped" us was rude and confused. He ended up canceling our original reservation and making a new more expensive one. It took 2.25 hours to pick up the trailer not due to being busy but due to incompetence. Once we finally had the trailer and loaded the car on it we saw one of the tires was flat and had a slow leak that left us having to refill the air as we made the trip home. When I called to share all of this we were told oh and btw you can't drop the trailer off where it was scheduled and we had to drive twenty minutes each way instead of 5 minutes to do so. No apologies given. I was told Larissa would call within 72 hours. When I tried to reach another person the man hung up on me as I shared the many issues. For days I waited for a phone call that never came. I continued to call in but was told over and over that Larissa would call. She didn't. Finally after 5 days I was given her bosses number. The woman I spoke to Alyssa has no business speaking to a very disgruntled customer. Again no apology. She actually had the nerve to tell me that Larissa did call. Having an iPhone it is easy to see that she had not. She also tried to pretend that the cancellation of our original reservation was not an error but normal practice because we wanted to pick up the trailer on a different day. That is not what happened. In short the ball was dropped at EVERY point in this situation. We have rented from uhaul for a car transport trailer at least 9 times that I can think of. This situation does not make me ever want to do it again. NIGHTMARE!

peter fLocation parking lot was in terrible condition. Potholes mud. trailer was parked in an area that I almost got stuck trying to get to it. When I went to drop the trailer off, I tried to park in the location that the owner wanted me to but I could not get it off the ball do the uneven ground since it was a field. I parked it in the parking lot and then got yelled at.
