I believe that the fuel level, which looked like it was full, was actually about 5 gallons lower because it said there was about 380 miles range and when I filled it up before turning g it in, it said there was about 430 mile range. It took 27 gallons to fill, while I had only driven 211 miles.

I didn't get what I paid for.
John WThe personnel were very helpful and courteous. The location felt somewhat unsafe to me.
DEANNA MThis location was great, very helpful, and great attitude!
john bThe lady who assisted us at Dragon Food Mart was very sweet and polite. This is a tiny store in what amounts to a small hamlet in Georgia. The staff member who normally handles U-Haul related transactions was off that day. She had to call him and he coached her through the entire process of renting the truck to us. She was a nervous wreck and I really felt for her. It took my husband a good hour before he could drive off with the truck and trailer. Of course, she had no clue as to how to hook up a trailer so my husband did it. I had also rented moving blankets with my order. They didn't have any even though the website said they did. Once it became clear that, in spite of the rocky situation, my husband would likely be driving the truck out of the lot and thus would not be stranded there, I left to find a local U-Haul that had moving blankets. I found them, in fact, much closer to our home. The lady there was very nice and knew what she was doing. She had a parking lot with many U-Haul trucks and trailers in it. However, this was not made clear on the website. Our entire experience would have been much less stressful for everyone including the poor lady at Dragon Food Mart if we had gone to the moving blanket lady closer to our house. My husband said the console in the cab was dirty with dried spilled coffee on it. He cleaned it up prior to returning it because "I want to leave it in better condition than I found it." There was also some dirt inside the cargo area of the truck. I don't think anyone has ever accused U-Haul trucks of being comfortable for the passengers and driver and this was certainly the case in our situation. We drove about 90 miles, I think to our destination. If my husband went over 55 to 60 MPH, the truck shook and vibrated significantly. I was driving our car and it was PAINFUL to have to go 50 or 55 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. Creeping along so he could keep up!
Anne WGreat experience
Robert BChecking the truck and dolly in was easy because the owner didn't care or want me to bother him.

William JI have had two of the most traumatizing experiences with uhaul this last one that happened Saturday just cost me $500 for a $20 rental even after filling up, cleaning it out and trying to do all we were told to do! Times are already really hard and here you guys are taking a wks worth of wages to rent your truck for 12 hrs! I am so saddened and will never use nor recommend you guys to anyone
Jimmy JWe were moving from Rome to Cartersville once got to the place I was told it was not 53 dollars for the Uhaul it ended up being 93 due to mileage . The man told us that it could be dropped off At any Uhaul location in cartersville but, later we found we had to go back to the same location ..we filled the gas tank to more than what was in it when we had rented it . I got back to Cartersville and they deducted not 93 dollars but, 125 dollars . I do not prefer this location.
Chris KDid not communicate anything well. Asked me to park the truck in an extremely wet dirt field, after telling him twice the truck would get stuck he was adamant "it will be ok". The truck did in fact get stuck and he seemed to want my wife to push which I immediately stopped all attempts of moving the truck. Needless to say we did not push, left with the truck stuck where he told me to park it, and without a physical receipt.
