No clear drop off point. No cell service to do mobile drop off. Then I'm billed for an extra day when I shouldn't have been.

Phillip SThe whole experience came down to the app. I was scheduled to do a mobile pick up at 5pm. I got to my locate at 4:55 to begin the mobile pick up. When I opened the app, it would buff out and automatically close. I tried to open other apps to make sure but it was only the U-Haul app doing this. When it finally opened it was past 5 so I had to call and have the person on the phone extend my time cause I could no longer pick up the truck. It took 35 minutes for the app to verify my face and photo id. My pick up ended up being done at 6:15. Hour 15 minutes to pick up a truck. I feel ripped off and will probally try a different company next time or at least never do the mobile pick up again. Terrible experience that added layers of stress to an already high stress week for me.

Louis HUhaul smelled like smoke and had cigarette butts. My husband has lung cancer (never smoked) diagnosed at age 40 so that was disappointing.

Ericka FThe cell service in the area is terrible. I arrived at the location about 15 minutes before the pickup time and it still took about 45 minutes to get the online rental pickup finished. I requested the uhaul for 4 hours but really only got 3.5 hours. Overall I think I will use another moving company the next time I have to move.
Kimberly JMy truck was over an hour and a half late. They need better customer service because I was just told to either wait around or wait for a phone call. I paid for the truck from a certain time to a certain time so if it is not ready then maybe they could have sent me to another location with a truck ready for pick up.
Danielle CI ordered a dolly online and was granted the request. When I arrived at the pick-up the man informed me that he did not have one. It ended up working out okay but it could have been an issue if the material I was moving was heavier. Other than that, great service and no problems at all. Would rent again.

glenn lOur minivan broke down in Scranton, PA area Saturday late afternoon so it had to be towed to NYC. Unfortunately, there was no necessary equipment (truck and auto transport) available anywhere in the 50 mile radius until Monday morning, so we were stranded for 2 nights. Looking back, I would rather pay extra $450 to the AAA guy to tow our van home right away.
grigory zService agent was helpful however required 1 hour of light testing and configuration as agent plugged my receptacle incorrectly and S-link in chain was gone
RICHARD RThis rating is because this is the 4th time I have had issues with uhaul!!! I wasn't told I needed to pickup my equipment in a different location. Down to earth wasn't a bad place it is Uhauls poor communication. They can text you with everything except if there are changes.

KEVIN MI would have expected the truck to hzve been in front of the building with the dolly inside....truck door was frozen shut.....they also underestimated the mpg...so I left tge truck with an extr 1/4 tank of gas....very disappointed to find that you don't give credit....

Marilyn VThe people were nice, but the usual person was not there and it took an hour to process this truck. My driver was very annoyed. They need to train more than one person to navigate your website. The cab of the truck was not clean. I wiped all the dirty surfaces and my cloth was black.
DIAN ACustomer service agents were helpful and friendly. They worked efficiently.
DARLENE CI took a 10' U-haul from scranton to west chester and back just to move in to school and it cost me $315 and change. Plus gas, ended up being about $400 just for a god damn U-haul. Next time no thanks I'll take my money somewhere else. $400 buck just to rent a van give me a break. Completely outrageous.
William FI've rented U-Haul trucks over a dozen times, without a doubt, and have never had a completely painless experience.... until this past weekend. Chris and the folks at Down To Earth in Justus were so absolutely awesome that I can't say enough good things about them. The truck was very, very well maintained, clean, and drove like a dream --- and for a 26-foot box with 49,000 miles, that's saying something. Not only would I recommend Down To Earth to friends and family, I would recommend them to folks in the nearby area, even if they have another U-Haul location closer to them. The few extra dollars you may pay in mileage will be more than worth the quality of the service and equipment you'll get.
Daniel Bi didn't realize the credit card info supplied on the phone was only to hold the reservation. i needed to use my friends card at the location to be able to get the u-haul. the customer should be notified they need to have their credit card with them when picking up the u-haul.
