Giving more detail over a 24hr rental versus a few hours rental. I didn't realize that I could have kept the utility trailer 24hrs for the same price. It asks for the hours you want it for & makes you pick, thinking its cheaper to do so. 3 prices should be given, either houly, hald days 12hrs, or full days 24hrs. Wish I had know, I had other things I could have used it for since I paid for a full day. Please try to indicate this on your site somehow. Gracias.

I don't know where to start…. Was guaranteed a 26' one way truck, it wasn't available. Was left with a 20' that had to be returned to the pick up location. Was supposed to have 3 dozen of the moving sheets, I got 3 sheets. I returned the truck the next day, 6 days later I got an email saying the truck hadn't been returned and that the rental had been extended and I was being charged $500. Waited on hold with uhall for over and hour to talk to a rude representative who over talked me, raised his voice, and tried to tell me, a paying customer that's getting the run around how I should behave. The location I rented from wouldn't answer the phone which meant I had to drive another 2.5 hr round trip back to the location to get my issue resolved (my truck was parked in the requested parking lot and the keys were in the office). Overall terrible experience!

We reserved a 26' truck and received email confirmation that we would get this but when we got there we only got a 20' truck. In result of the smaller truck we had to make 2 trips to move and that took more mileage that we did not plan for. Not happy with Uhaul at all.

The address given is not accessible. The address posted under it in parenthesis, which is different, is not the actual drop off location. And the only description given for drop off is “across the street”. Now, there are 3 streets that are “across the street” as there are forks in the road at that location, as well as a 4 lane highway. Which the building looks to be an abandoned building. But then you have to go back across 4 lanes of Highway to return the key. It was all very confusing. Took way too much time just to figure out where it was actually supposed to be dropped off at. Ugh

The day before I was due to drop off the trailer, I received a text message that my drop off location had been arbitrarily changed to another business 25 miles down the road! I IGNORED THAT MESSAGE!!!! I am not a U-HAUL employee nor responsible for their logistics! When I went to the business where I had selected, the owner, Matt, was extremely helpful and did exactly what he said that he would do. U-Haul's central scheduling created WAY more stress during an already stressful time trying to get my two sons dropped off at two different colleges during the same trip.Overall, I was very displeased with my U-Haul experience.

U-Haul said to call a specific number for this location. When I called, a phone message gave directions on where to drop off truck and a number to text for questions. I texted a question about confirmation of drop-off and never heard back. Location was confusing and I had difficulty locating the proper place/office to drop off the keys.

Location complained that they have asked Uhaul for new trucks and have been denied numerous times. Because of this, we were given a truck with a frequent flat tire and a back door that jams open, making us almost unable to haul what we needed. I was frustrated with the location but understand Uhaul being negligent of their complaints and requests is ultimately to blame.

More specific drop off instructions. Since I have been to this particular location many times, I knew where to put the trailer however if I was a first-timer and dropping off when office was closed, it would have been very confusing.

It would be nice if they had additional staff or a proper system to handle appointments. Had to wait 20 mins for a scheduled pick up and then was told the 10 feet truck that I booked wasn't available. The only option was the 20 feet. Other than that the Uhaul was nice and the guy was friendly.

Again, Uhaul rental offices are not "cool" places to hang out or anything. But the owner and manager of the place were very helpful, friendly, and bent over backwards to make us happy after getting a major runaround from the reservation system which wanted to send us an hour and a half away to a different location to get a truck we were promised at this one. In short, it all worked out thanks to the very professional employees of this location.

I rented a pick up truck. it was in excellent condition and easily handled the project I needed it for. The check in went smoothly and very fast at the office. I did have a problem with the 24/7 system. It is time consuming and not user friendly. Way to many loops to jump through, I'll never try it again.

I reserved a cargo van one day from this location, and when I went to go pick it up, the person in charge of the office went home for the day. I had no way to get my rental, which ended up costing me $500+ to deal with. I texted and called the number for this location, and instead of literally any response, I just got an automated email saying my reservation was cancelled. On another occasion, I reserved a cargo van again and instead got stuck with a 10' truck, which obviously cost me even more money. I 100% don't have money like that, so now I'm very much financially struggling.

I reserved my rental through the app. I was unable to reserve a cargo van or smaller truck. It said they were unavailable for the time and day of the reservation. When I picked up my rental the lot was full. There were at least 4 cargo vans and 8 small trucks. When I tried to return my rental, the U-Haul app wouldn't upload the picture required for the odometer and fuel gauge. I wasted at least 30 minutes trying to use this supposedly professionally designed app for a return and ended up being late to pick my wife up from work because of it. I like this location and U-Haul rentals used to be convenient but I don't know if I will be willing to use this company again.

U-Haul rep I dealt with was accommodating, but the equipment I was promised wasn't available and I had to settle for a much larger truck/trailer than I originally wanted. The location was somewhat difficult to navigate based on its location (lots split up among corners of an intersection). I had to be rerouted to Blacksburg after initially scheduling my pickup with another location, which was also not ideal.

I was told that there were no 20' in Roanoke, VA and that I had to travel to Blacksburg, VA to get a 26' because that's all that was available. There were plenty of 20' the morning of my moving day in Roanoke. I drive 45 mins to Blacksburg, VA to get the 26' only to be given a 20' and no dolly that I also requested.

This location was suppose to be open until 5pm on Friday. I showed up at 3:30pm and it was closed. No place to park my truck. Hard to figure out where to drop off key. Why tell people you can drop off until 5pm and then close at 3?

I was so pose to do a mobile pick up because the office was due to be closed for today, but when I pulled up they were ope for only a few minutes, the representative told me that since I was there he would do the paperwork for my rental handed me the key and I was on my Way.
