The associate at dispatching location: 42074 gave us excellent service. He provided us with extra days and a discount because we had to travel 16 hours to pick the trailer up. The sales team in St. John's, NL and Halifax, NS were less than helpful and were unable to provide answers to most of our questions. They also had poor customer service. The U-HAUL dealership in Stephenville, NL should be applauded for their outstanding customer service. Would use this location again.

Very bad tires , excessive shaking at certain speed. Very bad tire on passenger front, caused excessive vibration, very stressful drive. Engine light came on during trip, stopped get it serviced, came on again an hour before destination. It was a rough ride with unfit tire, creating lots of stress.

The manager was very rude an wouldn't talk after hrs. He said to come back in the morning. Went back rented the trailer the next day for 3 days. I had pickup trouble an had my friend drop the trailer back to Stephenville for me. He ended up being a couple hrs late because of my break down. Again the manager was very disrespectful argued with him. I will never rent again at this location. Nothing to do with u haul Just the representative. Gracias

I was suppose to pick the unit up in Corner Brook. I can to travel from Deer Lake to Stephenville to get a unit at uhauls request. This trip ended up taking valuable time away from my very short trip. The drive took us almost 2 house to get to the uhaul location. The online pick up didn't work properly. I called the local number for the uhaul service and got a rude man that wouldn't help me. Told me it wasn't his problem. He was off work and couldn't help me. Called uhaul only to be put on a long hold waiting for someone to answer. While waiting we went to grab food. When someone answered they reset my online booking and told me I had to be at the location to finish the check in. We went back. Checked in following the steps. This was a slow process. Gets a code BUCK. Which was not the right code seeing the code should of been from 0-9. Calls uhaul again and is put on hold waiting for someone to answer. They say the code is BUCK. Explain to them it can't be. After some time on the phone they finally call the location owner. He tells them the code is 2244. So all this time wasted driving out and dealing with this situation was totally uncalled for and a waste of my time. I'm very disappointed in the service. The amount I was offered for that hassle was not enough seeing the cost of gas and the poor service I got.

Why does your workers who check out the trucks have zero ability to help a customer? The truck information was set up wrong and the worker didn't have the power to fix the wrong information. He had to call the same uhaul numbers customers use and wait on the phone 30 minutes for someone to help him before I could take the truck. Why a long wait? 1 person working on the phone for all of Atlantic Canada. Unreal. It should not take 45 minutes to get a truck checked out. I got people giving up their free time to help me move and they're waiting around on me because the truck is delayed getting out. The return process was not clear. I called the worker to ask what the return procedure was for an after hours drop. He just told me to park truck where I found it, take pictures of mileage and gas level and return keys in lock box. I drive home and on my phone I notice a text message from Uhaul whose first sentence visible was: thank you for choosing uhaul. Your order number is…” upon opening this text I notice truck return information for after hours return!!! The damn thing wants to check my gps for my location and if I wasn't in the right spot I was going to be charged $20 So I have to drive 25 minutes back uptown to be in the correct spot to click a damn link. Then it starts asking me for photos to prove truck was clean. I'm locked out of the truck now! Keys were returned in the box hours ago. It asks me for a picture of the mileage and gas level. I was okay with that because I took a picture earlier or it but the damn app won't let me upload that photo from my camera roll. I had to take a pic right then and there. I'm still locked out of the truck. Very disorganized and unprofessional service.

Perhaps there should be an additional or readily available equipment for a 10ft or a van in the areas of stephenville, corner brook, and pasadena for a low volume loads/baggages customers. For an easy pick up so that no need to travel far just to get the equipment.

Harold was super friendly and helpful answering all our questions. He recognized and updated the booking related to covid protocols due cross province travel in case extra time was needed due to self isolation and left us his cell number in case there were any issues with the drop off.

I don't think I should have 2 pay for hours that don't have it. I picked up van at 10am may 13 and dropped it off at 3pm on May 14 but got charged until 10am may 15. This is not good enough, if someone came in after me 2 get that same van then I already have it paid for but returned and now rent in 2 someone else in the same day. Not right...

I had to rent a car haulier from you guys to haul a vehicle from Saint John's which is 800 km away and I wanted to rent the car haulier in St. John's and tow it back to Stephenville, however do you guys want to charge me $550 plus tax to rent a car haulier in Saint Johns and drop it off in Stephenville. I rented the trailer from steamable told at the St. John's and told it back with my vehicle and back and it only cost me a little over $200. That doesn't make any sense to me as there was only one car haulier in steam mall and the cost difference was not reasonable to me.

First the owner tried to give me a run around telling me my truck couldn't tow the trailer. When my truck is registered for over twice that weight. My travel trailer is way more then the car hauler and car on it combined!! I Hurd after he does this a lot to scam people into renting uhauls to tow the trailer to make more money. Secondly are tire blew. Your office said they'd have someone change the tire. When we return to the dealer. When we get there. We had to use are own Jack. Buddy gave us the tool made us change are own tire on the trailer. Plus go take one off another uhaul to replace are damaged one. The experience really makes me feel like saying F**K Uhaul. Next time I need something done I'll pay someone else to do it. Instead of putting money in these guys greedy pockets. ( but I am trying to understand , they are only a dealer. Not uhaul group) but you guys should look Into these things. It's not right. And make it better with your customer. I called youe Halifax office number and told the girl and she brushed me off. And basically said. Well your insurance with us only covered damages. It's normal to have to change the tire yourself. !?? Like what the F**k kinda schemer operation are you guys running. I asked her so if one blows while I'm on the highway what am I on my own here , why did I even buy your insurance. She's like no well there's roadside. So my question is. If there's roadside WHY DID I HAVE TO CHANGE THE TIRE IN THE FIRST PLACE , It's enough to make me never use UHAUL again. And let everyone else I see know HOW TERRIBLE UHAULS SERVICE IS !!!!!
