The location is excellent; however, the signage is difficult to see from Oakland Park Boulevard. I relied on Google Maps to find the store. I think better visibility of the U-Haul brand would help rentals at this location. Possibly, park a larger truck along the south end of the parking area to increase visibility. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Very professional too.

Im a loyal customer n this was the Worse truck EVER!!!! Loud metal rattling under the body.. seat belt n tire light on.. loud noise from windows.. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

I almost missed the place since the office is in a strip mall but the rental and return was quick and easy. Only blip was being charged for an extra day and it's not this location you have to deal with but an accounting telephone number.

Roaches inside the main cabin area and in the back. Came home and found roaches in my furniture that was in loaded into the truck. Absolutely disgusting!

I’ll be reaching out to further explain my review. This location was a glowing radiance of what the golden standard should be. My original reservation and previous location 801 S Andrews, Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33069 we’re an absolute mockery of customer service and branding. It was absolutely terrible and you are lucky to have partners like the 147 E Oakland location.

Outrageously high priced I paid $126 For less than 24 hours for a local move. Add gasoline and you’re up to 160. Seven dollars to use the dolly. What a rip off. Won’t be using you again.

I was charged almost $80 for not being able to fill the tank up back to a quarter tank.. I explained to the manager that we are in the middle of a gas shortage and had attempted to get gas at several locations with no success..He was unsympathetic and acted as he didn’t know what I was talking about..

Steering in van was dangerous. Man tried to overcharge me when arriving even though I had done online check in. Then when I returned van they charged me extra for fuel when I had already put fuel in. I done 37 miles in the van I put 3.959 gallon back in they then charged me for another 8 gallons. In my working out that van does 3 mile per gallon. A Ferrari does more MPG than that.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had with uhaul !!! The people here who run the facility were friendly and so helpful !! When I need another truck I would come here !! Thanks again for giving us hope in uhaul after some terrible experiences!!

Have used U-Haul several times and each time it was a seamless process with no problems. Vehicle in excellent condition, no surprises. This last rental experience was the best ever. Quick, pleasant service at a reasonable price.

There was broken glass inside the cab as well as inside the drivers door, bc when trying to roll the window up or down u could hear and feel glass grinding. There was also a sound of “breaking glass” when rolling the window.

The business that rents out the U-Haul equipment is very nice and professional. The staff at this location is top notch. My complaint is against U-Haul corporate and their IT department for not fixing their app and making sure it works properly. I spent 30 mins in the hot sun trying to get the app to work properly. I had to use the website on my phones web browser. I went to iTunes and according to other user reviews the app has not been working properly since May! Please make your software engineers fix the app and make sure it works properly.

I don't believe its the facilities fault . Uhaul is very poor on updating the inventory availability with every location . They need facts and not possible returns for reserved rental scheduled. Very dissatisfied. This dealer location tried and was very good. The whole Uhaul process was very poor from the company/ coporate level .

This location was great, but there has got to be a better way of renting trucks than the surprise location change the night before your rental. I rented a truck at a location within walking distance of my house, but at UHaul's convenience I had to pick up a truck at a location of their choosing.

Box was almost impossible to open to get the key. Customer support was not helpful. App froze up many times while using. Uhaul smelled like cat pee. Awful experience.
