I rent a u haul from this place above from this gentleman. He was nice but my problem was the next day. I rented the 29.99 truck and a hand Dollie 7.00 pay for the u haul and Dollie and an estimated of 30 miles.I use my debit card to pay 100 dollars which I understand if I go over the estimated miles it would be more money. The place I rented the u haul from call me the next day which was on a Sunday asking me to give my card number over the phone because he need the 100 dollars for the u haul and dollie I said sir they have already take the 100 off my card and plus you owe me some change he said yes 1.39 cent but I need your card number I said sir I don’t give my card number over the phone he said I understand I said what time you close today he said oh am just here for someone to pick up and I will be leaving.I said I will be down there tomorrow to solve this problem because I have paid an I got my recipe he said ok. So I try calling him back two times but it went to voicemail. I want to tell him I not understanding what you saying I got to pay a 100 when it is already been paid. So later on that evening how about an email with the same recipe like I got saying thanks for your business. I really felt like this man was trying to get over on me by trying to take another 100 from me. I will never go there again to rent a u haul no more.

This location is very remote and is not easily discernible that it is a U-Haul location from the highway.

Gentleman who helped me provided a credit to me for not receiving a dolly that I reserve with the truck. He was very helpful and friendly. I do not think I should be charged for over mileage on a one-way drop off. Other rentals provided unlimited miles for a one-way drop-off.

Location was easy to find and access. When I took the one-way rental to the location, it was after-hours. Even so, an employee was still there and without hesitation took care of checking the return truck in. Even at the end of a long day, he was personable and had great customer service!

Computer issues, gentleman had to use his smart phone to check in/out. No tools to tighten hitch balls but very helpful. Just be prepared when you go but the guy was super nice and very helpful. I'll definitely recommend them and go back.

They were very friendly at this location. It was a very well maintained location. I was there only once before over 3 months ago and they actually remembered me there. On a scale of 1 to 10 they are definitely a 10.

Need to fix the GPS for this location for the 24/7 got there and would not pickup location. Had to wait till someone got to store to get me key for the truck. But as soon as they showed up they took care of me right away.

Four issues: 1. Although we ordered a 17' truck, U-Haul rented us a 15' vehicle. 2. The location U-Haul uses for 105 Meta Dr, Clayton, NC is not correct. Two of us - with location services switched ON - were not able to make the U-Haul App work for dispatch. The actual location found on Google Maps, does not match what U-Haul marked as the actual location for this location. Accordingly, we wasted 50 minutes trying to dispatch the truck. I'd say a manager need to puts himself/herself in the customer's shoes and try dispatching outside of business hours! 3. The cigarette lighter power sources in the truck are not working. 4. U-Haul is trying to hard to make a buck, they position the hand-truck and moving blankets in the back. At closer inspection, if someone, unfastens these items, they pay for them. I did not need either so those items stayed there, fastened to the truck wall, taking up space that I needed - especially since I needed a 15' truck and was provided a 17 footer. I think business must be too good these days because customers service is still tough t to come by.

The person took a long time to get through the paperwork because the computer was giving him a hard time. He finally had to call U-Haul to get it done. Took about 30 minutes. Seemed more interested in making money with u-haul than making sure the customer was happy.

Please provide this site with a 10 foot and a pickup truck as additional choices for rental...not everyone needs a 'big' truck when they need a truck.

Drop off location on UHaul website said the store opens at 9. Door of the drop off location says 10. Waited for and hour and a half for the place to open. No one showed up to open the store at the posted time. I ended up doing the online drop off because there was nobody at the store. This store lost at least 3 UHaul customers in the time that I waited. Would not recommend this location.

U-Haul charged my me for extra days even though I returned the truck ahead of the scheduled drop off day of 9-4-18. U-Haul already charged me an astronomical amout for this rental according to both pick up and drop off location.

We returned our U-Haul on a Sunday and went to a drop-off on 42. We filled the tank and then drove to the location, but they were closed so we had to drive 5 more miles and pay for additional gas. Let renters know what drop-offs are closed on Sunday.

When we explained our disappointment about the truck leaking, the gentleman that checked us in acted like it was no big deal and it was just a poor design of the truck. This truck only had a little over 20k miles on it and we drove less than 200 miles - it was acting very sluggish at our final destination. We rented from U-haul 2 weekends in a row. July 14th, awesome, July 21st - no so much!

Your app sucks. App and email confirmation info different. Went to 2 locations to figure out who had my truck. Email stated I had self serve checkin but it never worked. Location clerk had to spend 20 min fixing it. Glad he was there.

The pick up location was outstanding. However, it was not the original agreed upon pick up location. I scheduled via the phone and CONFIRMED with the scheduling office that I would have a truck at the specified location. I arrived to that location to do the 24 hour self pick-up only to have the app tell me I wasn't at the appropriate GPS location. U-Haul never communicated the change with me. This change also never should have happened because it was a guaranteed scheduled pick up. Additionally customer service is near impossible to reach over the phone. U-Haul is generally not customer friendly and on multiple occasions I have had the pick up location changed without notice. I understand it is a fluid organization where trucks move. However it would be nice if the company had the courtesy to call you to tell you of the change. I am disappointed with the over-arching 'big' U-Haul. The individuals at the pick up locations are great. It's the corporate approach to customers that is hurting the company.

I had reserved a truck at the Cleveland Storage location. My sons wanted to start earlier than the time frame I had set. Since the facility was closed they had to call to get the code to unlock the truck. The person they talked with had an attitude and was extremely unhelpful. My sons had to drive over 10 miles to get another truck. We were very unhappy with our experience.

There is a distinct lack of communication between Uhaul and its agents. Also, the communication between Uhaul and its customers could be a lot better. Having reserved a truck for one location it wasn't until I called to confirm the pick up time with the location that I realised it was not where I had reseved. The location did not know the rate I had been given and had a different pick-up time from what I had requested.. The truck had about a 6% mileage error after almost 100 miles. Actual was 96 indicated was 102. The location made every effort to resolve the cost and collection issues but I still had to cut short my time for loading ad consequesntly have to make a second trip in the future. I had reserved help based on my reserved pick up time. Equipment was very good.

took me an extra hour and a half of my day, because it wasn't even close to where it was suppose to be.My son went to pick it up, it was paid for in advance,so we wouldn't have a problem with pick up, and they still gave him a hard time....And after getting it, there was hardly any gas in it, so of course we had to fill it up to travel our 4 hours to our destiny, another delay...grrrrrrrrr. Then on the way bringing it to our destination,it stalled on him twice..Piece of crap.I had called the day before and and even talked to traffic control, who I might add was not any help to me at all..That's when I found out my truck was not where it was suppose to be. So then I asked the traffic control guy exactly when was I gonna find this out, and why hadn't I been told this earlier, he made a smart comment about he had till 6 pm the night before to let me know...grrrrr, needless to say, I was so upset about all of this,my son took the phone from me because I was crying.oh and yeah, when we dropped it off in york, that guy said we didn't even have legitamate paperwork. At least that guy was nice! Would I recommend this to my friends...Hell NO!
