It is a gas station who doesn't really know much about the Uhaul side of things. I asked where to put the truck and he just said outside. Luckily there was another truck in the vicinity so I left mine there as well. Worker wasn't overly friendly or helpful.

The drop off location was 30 mins out of the town we were in and Dubuque IA is a large enough city that I shouldn’t have to drive 30 mins out of my way to drop off the truck and in a town that had bad cellular signal, this it took too long for the pictures to upload

The person we dealt with was rude and unhelpful. She wanted us to back up a 26’ Uhaul that was towing a trailer into a tiny space that was blocked by an ice truck and that you have to back into traffic to achieve. There were gas pumps as obstacles as well. There was barely room for the trailer and no room for the truck. She just kept waving her hand telling us to back it up without going and looking to see that there was no room. It wasn’t until the 3rd time of us telling her that there was no room that she stopped smoking her cigarette and came to look. She then said she would move stuff around. Then instead she asked if we minded waiting for the manager for an indeterminate amount of time. When I said we couldn’t continue to wait (we had already been waiting 30 minutes) she said to park next to her car. We did that. When I asked if she would provide us documentation that we turned in the Uhaul and trailer, she said she was the proof and wouldn’t provide me with anything written or emailed. Thankfully a couple of hours later her manager emailed the typical documentation of return.

Girt at the Dickeyville store register did not know how to accept the uhaul truck return and wanted me to wait for one hour for the store owner to return at the store. Fortunately, I knew how return the truck using the uhaul app. So I would not recommend someone who don't know how to use the app to go to this store for pickup/return the uhaul truck.

Overall experience was horrendous. Took like 5+ hours to get the truck I had reserved. Online rate was cheaper than what I had gotten and charged for I spent more money than any other moving company would’ve charged me. I wouldn’t recommend uhaul to anyone ever after all that crap I dealt with.

The phone number on my contract was incorrect. This was answered by an associate of the gas station who had to give me another number to call. That person didn't seem to know what I was calling about at first, then asked where I wanted to return it. If I already selected the return location in my order, I thought it would be obvious, and made me a bit skeptical about the drop off. However, he eventually understood and told me where to leave the trailer. One other issue... when I went online to check in my trailer, verify and close out the order, it was already closed. So it took me awhile to figure out that I was unable to complete verification.

Downloaded the app for first time. Answered all the questions necessary for contactless pickup day before. Was told I could call the guy if I had any issues. When I got there-- its like the app forgot all my initial info-- had to start again--- plus put in additional references-- pain in the ass. Also-- I called the guy-- he never answered. Thankfully the person in the gas station helped out.

I was told they weren’t there to unhook trailers go another 30 miles if that’s what I was expecting. I’m 62 years old and not quite as fit as I was 10 years ago. With that being said , the owner , Scott was rude and completely unprofessional. The gal who was working the gas station, which is where this location is, was my age and after about 30 minutes she came out with a customer to help. Never ever should she have been told to come out and unhook. She was the only person working a busy gas station and was not particularly young either. Scott, the owner, would not come in , refused to come help and didn’t want me to unhook at his station. Perhaps checking out this location as unviable ? .

1. Price quoted and reserved was 100 dollars higher! The gentleman who met me gave me no paperwork, nor email. 2. The trailer was old, had dents and dings and a door that was impossibly difficult to lock down. There was visible damage and graffiti on it!! 3. The lights on the trailer were mostly inoperable— dangerous! 4. When I tried to call for help, no one at uhaul answered. I feel that this company is fraudulent. They claim “ unlimited miles” for trailers, but I had to return it to a certain location 75 miles northeast of my location to get a cheaper price. This was truly the worst part of my move.

Truck was filthy, check in process took an hour and person who checked us in was not familiar with your online system. VERY unhappy with how the trip started.

The amount of gas in the vehicle was lower than what was said. They said it was just over 5/8 tank of gas in the rental, but it was just over 1/2 tank.

Gas station where uhaul was stored refused to help with rental in any way. Online rental process was confusing and lengthy, had to call three times for assistance with Rental while standing in parking lot. Took me well over a hour online and on the phone to rent a truck. I paid upfront but,Then there were added charges but, on during the return check in. I returned the truck a full day sooner and with online return there was no way to get a refund as I had paid in advance. Returned truck a day early and
