The gas wasn't full when I picked it up. After I filled it up to what I picked it up at, the representative said that was fine and noted on the order that I wouldn't be charged extra for gas. After reviewing the receipt I was actually charged 97 dollars.

The self service is garbage it wouldn't except my location my phone works perfectly it's only your end that can't verify a location had to have a family member drive 25 minutes so I could borrow there phone it was completely bullshit I will never use uhaul ever again even if a different company costs me more money I'd rather do that than give u guys another dime all I gotta say is bullshit

When I called and explained my situation, they stated they would extend my drop off time out a couple extra hours and I wouldn't be charged. Sadly they charged me almost 30$ extra for having the uhaul for roughly 3 extra hours, even though I was told they weren't going to charge me.

UHaul District needs to be more aware of equipment at more convenient locations for customers. They originally redirected me to Portage after the Montello location didn't have the equipment. That would have added 2 more hours on my day (1/2 hour each way for both p/U and Drop off. I had to find the Princeton location (10 minutes) myself and ask them to change to that location.

The location was fine - HOWEVER - there was a mistake made with our reservation and the only 26' truck was double-booked. We are business owners and understand mistakes happen, but the resolution and treatment from Uhaul was NOT SATISFACTORY by a long shot! We will be calling the regional manager on Monday to tell our story and we will see if Uhaul will make things right. This may be the last time we rent from them.

We had to drive 2 hours for pick up this was a nightmare. Reservation was booked 1 1/2 months prior for Milwaukee area. Spent 35 minutes on hold waiting for a customer service person to help us. Not acceptable but had no choice at that last minute!!!!

You made me completely up-end my day and drive an additional 3 hours to get this truck when I made a reservation in Madison. I ended up having to load the truck well into the night because of this and was given absolutely no compensation for all of the additional time and gas I used to get the truck. Also, there was no furniture dolly that I had already paid for and reserved. I'll try as hard as possible to avoid using uhaul ever again.

Tell the truth about the level of gas in the vehicle. It was listed as full. I found it was 10 GALLONS from full which at current prices was around $30. Lies are never good business practices.

Previously i constructively commented that Piggly Wiggly staff doing U-Haul duties need more training on the U-Haul terminal. To my suprise and delight, Mike Cruz, Area Field Manager, was there that day providing additional training to the Piggly Wiggly staff. Tanya that day was being trained and did a good job on the U-Haul terminal and related rental equipment procedures. Thank you U-Haul for reading and positively responding to customer constructive comments.

I didn't check the truck. The produce manager who helped me was exceptional--great guy. But the truck only had 3/4 of a tank instead of full. Since it was across the parking lot, I didn't double check. Which kind of bummed me out.

I like the Piggly Wiggly in Princeton WI, I've rented trucks & trailers from them several times, however constructively, they need to train the staff that uses the UHaul computer. Each time I've gone in to rent, the PW staff member, which is not the same person each rental time, doesn't know how to use the UHaul PC computer. The Piggly Wiggly staff is nice and tries, but please, please have them thoroughly trained on how to use the PW U-Haul pc in Princeton, WI. I WILL rent from Piggly Wiggly in Princeton again

WORST experience I have ever had. I sat on hold for Uhaul for an hour after receiving a call the day before our move that they were changing our pick up location to an hour out of our way. We booked our truck two months ago. The vehicle was not maintained leaving us stranded on the side of the highway for 2 1/2 hours. I missed attending my son's graduation and had to watch it on my cell phone on the side of the road. We also had movers through Uhaul when we arrived at our destination. They were three hours late. NEVER USE UHAUL!!

It would be helpful if the loaning location went over basic operating rules and instructions with customer as well as helping set up trailer properly. These are listed inside trailer but were not brought to my attention at the site and trailer was closed so I didn't see them until later.

This location: 5 stars UHaul: 0 stars Rental arrangement made in Madison a month ahead of time. Two days before, UHaul informs me the truck is not available. Find another truck in Portage. The night before, that truck isn't available. The website promises me $50 credit each time this happens plus UHaul doing their best to fix the problem. So we finally found a truck in Princeton for a Madison move. On top of that, one of the reps told me I would get credit for the unnecessary extra 102 miles of driving. Never got any of these credits. One UHaul rep hung up on me. I sent an email on Saturday to the area manager. Tuesday night: still no response. UHaul owes me at least $150. This is so very basic. All you need to do is keep your promises.

Why do the larger trucks not have exterior kick plates to get in and out of the truck? For people who have bad knees, hips, ankles that climb all the way up is pretty tough.

You need to have jacks available to help get trailers onto hitches. My hitch is somewhat high and it was difficult without a jack to lift up the tongue of the trailer.

I reserved a 26' truck 3 weeks before my move. I arrived to find only a 20' truck available even though there was a 26' on the lot. It was on reserve for someone who put in a request 1 week after me. The smaller truck made me make 2 trips rather than 1 meaning I had to pay more in mileage charges. While the agent in Princeton was excellent I will never recommend U-Haul as a supplier of rental equipment to anyone.

The truck was filthy. I could have dealt with it and not said a word about it, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. The brakes were so bad I has to press with all my weight on the pedal to get the truck to start to slow down and that was with no items in the bed. When we discussed the drop off location, I was told it was on the southern end of town, but it was on the northern end of town. This is by far the worst experience I have had moving. I will never use uhaul again. Also, the ac was blasting when we turned it on, and that alone told me how long it had been since it was used, let alone serviced.
