This place is friendly, professional and experienced. They instantly checked me in, explained my options, and got me on my way with a smile. (It seems previous negative comments were about Uhaul policy, not this dealer who must abide within those). I can confidently recommend Depot Gun & Pawn.

Where do i begin...i was a cash payer and was told will get 100 deposit back as long as i didn't go over mileage...so i calculated my mileage carefully so i don't go over...then i get a call from one of your agents to take uhaul to location on Malcolm dr to be told cannot refund me my money but will mail me a check in 2days...wtf uhaul i want my shit now...then she tells me to go to another location and i get there only to see i was not getting all of my deposit back because i went over mileage but it was you guys fault clearly...i really had to act a damn fool to get my money back... And for Andy in Alexander City; he is a real asshole who only cares about a dollar amd it seems like this runs throughout yoir company... I will never recommend you guys for anything and i hope and pray i never need you guys services again...oh all equipment was not on truck therefore had to carry all my heavy items myself and pay others to do so...poor service i ever seen

I told the owner ,I never drove a Uhaul truck. No one told me anything about the truck such as where the gas nozzle was ,about anything inside the truck, it was very loud and shaking couldn't concentrate.

I was charged a $15 cleaning fee for a trailer I left spotless. Move a bed, dresser, and couch and the trailer never left pavement. This was not on the original agreement. I have been fleeced and do not appreciate it. There is always a catch, U-Haul.

I was checking my account and noticed 2 charges from UHaul. I called the location at 4:50 no answer. I called Uhaul I have been on hold over an hour. My card was charged $80 then $106. FOR ONE DAY INTOWN. This is crazy.

I returned the truck after hours. I was in the drop off parking lot trying to check the truck in, however, your location system could not find me. Being non-tech savvy, I called the 800 number for help and received wonderfully pleasant help and assistance, After a long day of driving and moving in the rain, it was much welcomed.

I was charged for “extras” i specifically selected as “no” when I reserved the vehicle online. I unfortunately did not notice the charges until I had already left the return location. Slipping extra charges into a bill is decietful and dishonest in my opinion. The van was great but with the dishonesty I would not recommend the location or uhaul to friends or family.

The cab of my truck leaked during the storm, I got soaked by the leaking in the cab all down my back. Completely soaked my shirt all the way down my back while driving. Extremely bad experience. I told lady that checked me in when I dropped it off and she said it wasn’t her problem since I rented the uhaul from a dealer?

Took truck back Saturday afternoon they were closed, kept key till Tuesday morning since location was closed due to holiday, was told that we should have left key in unlocked uhaul truck,now being told we owe over 100$,which is bonkers,what the hell would have happened if key was left inside and truck stolen, very rude idiot at location

I was not happy that I made the reservation online and paid ahead of time for a day and mileage. When I turned in truck, the mileage used was LESS than what I paid for but I was charged almost $3 more. While that isn't very much, I was quoted and charged one price online but then charged extra. This seems unethical.

Nothing at all negative about the location where I rented the trailer. But the Online experience and when I called really could use to improvement. Online, I filled out everything and reserved a trailer at a location, but then I got a text message (even though I had clicked contact by phone) saying my pickup spot was 40 minutes across town, totally opposite direction to where I was eventually needing to go. Not acceptable. You would think as big as Uhaul is, your computer system could tell a customer if a trailer was at the location at the time of reservation, instead of letting me do the reservation and then trying to send me in a bad direction. Then when I called, I got passed around, and when I was told I was going to be placed on hold and sent to a Birmingham person, the person I talked to was in Atlanta, GA. Kudos, to Laura (i think) at the Pelham store. When I talked to her Saturday morning, she checked different locations, and when I said go ahead and check the Alexander City location, she found that they had the trailer that I needed, and she set up my reservation. Thank you to her (i wish I was sure about her name). So to repeat: Kudos to Alex City location, the lady at the Pelham store (Laura maybe), but BOOOO to online reservation process, and passing around the phone calls and not even close to passing to the appropriate location (Atlanta when I was told I would be sent to a Birmingham location). Hopefully things will be better if I need a Uhaul trailer in the future.

When looking up the name of a drop off location I was given UHaul Neighborhood, not a Pawn Shop. Also, my pickup location told me to just pick a drop off location. So I did, only later to find out I was assigned a different drop off and they attempted to charge me an extra $40 for being late. I had actually turned it in early with appt. $20 more fuel in the tank than required.
