This was the 2nd location I was sent to by U-Haul to pick up the trailer I had reserved days prior. The trailer did not show up to the first location, but the manager there was very helpful in getting in contact with U-Haul and finding this 2nd location. Upon arriving at the 2nd location, I was told by the desk associate that they did not have the trailer. I then had to call U-Haul, again, and the trailer was then found. It was there the whole time. I normally do not have problems renting from Davis Towijg. However, if you are going to hook up the trailer to a customer's vehicle, please make sure it is done properly so that it does not become detached while traveling on the interstate. The employee had the wiring harness wedged under the screw down mechanism which didn't allow the tongue of the trailer to fully compress against the ball of the hitch. When I hit a bump at a bridge transition, the trailer popped off and careened wildly behind my truck. Luckily, the safety chains held and I was able to maneuver through traffic without damage to my or anyone else's vehicle.Andrew P.

Better explain after hours return of vehicle. Dropped keys in box and then found I needed photos of gas gauge, odometer, outside of vehicle. None of this was explained to me when renting the vehicle. Luckily someone in repair shop had key to lock box so we could comply and not have to pay #20 fee for location to check gas and odometer and vehicle.Beverly B.

We had gotten a 20ft box truck for a 30 mile drive when moving our home. The worker there gave us 100 miles and said we would be credited back the miles we didn't use. After dropping this vehicle off, we were told that "that's not how we do things" and "she must be new". We were over charged and lied to. Will not recommend again to anyone.Katlynn T.

I NEVER received my dolly and matts. When we arrived at my location to load that's when we noticed it was not in the trailor. I tried calling Davis Towing but they were closed and voice mail was full. I then tried calling the 800# for customer service and it just rang and rang. No customer service picked up.
