Provide a vehicle that is reasonably clean. This vehicle was dirty inside and out. Even a used tissue stuffed inside of an empty tissue box. The ride of the truck was terrible. It exhausted me to try to keep it on an interstate.Joseph G.

U-haul changed my pick-up location and time which made it a challenge for me and would have costed me time and inconvenience. However, the staff at Davis Auto & Towing did an excellent job of working with me to overcome my challenge and to make the equipment available - which turned out to my benefit.Robert S.

Fuel hose had been cut so had to use roadside. The pickup dealer would have had no way of knowing the line was cut. Tina Davis checked me out and she is the best! Will use them in the future.Ryan R.
I was originally told to return the truck to Burnouts. I arrived there at 7:30am and started to do self checkout. The Uhaul site then told me I had to go to Dave's. We raced over there and had a hard time finding it. When we did finally find it, there was just one place leave it ( the car yard was packed ). The inconvenience was really the reason for the lower stars.Graham H.
Service and equipment was excellent, but the employees were not wearing masks, and there was no PPE in place, despite government directives and the fact that one of the employees had a cough.Lindsey B.
This was a uhaul affiliated place and not uhaul- it was not well marked and hard to find and hard to find parking. The woman who worked there put a mask over just her mouth until she stared coughing, and then took her mask off completely bc she didn't want to cough on her face (but rather cough on me). The uhaul had not been cleaned prior to me using it - there was debris and dirt in the cab, so I know they didn't disinfect it. They parked the van in the mud, and when I tried to leave it got stuck- we had to call a tow truck driver to pull it out. Both the woman who worked there and the tow truck driver got in the truck without masks trying to dislodge it. When I returned it, I tried going through the process of returning uhaul vans- I tried for nearly an hour and no link was sent and I couldn't get past the first part. I finally called the woman and she said bc it wasn't an official uhual center, I didn't have to do that, all I had to do was leave the keys - which would have been nice to know before sitting in freezing temps tires trying to finish my part of the transaction. I was very disappointed and also afraid for my health. This company does not follow the safety and guidelines of uhaulAlexandra D.

This place looked like a â€œgraveyardâ€ for old cars which were lined up everywhere. I barely had room to park the truck and walk up to the building. The office was locked and blinds were closed. I had to leave the keys and contract inside the key return box by the door. I knocked on the door, several times, but no one answered.Karen E.

The location is far out of the way, the driveway/parking lot is full and hard to maneuver in. I had called the day before to confirm out 10 am and got there to be told "the lady that does uhaul left to go look at a car." We pulled into the parking lot at 10! We waited for 25 minutes and got a dirty truck can. Trash and something sticky that had been spilled.Jim P.

I originally was dropping off at another location (Burnouts) on New Leicester Hwy. When I got there, everything was gone - no vehicles, no building, no signs indicating they had moved and were no longer a U-Haul dealer. After calling Burnouts, the owner said they had moved over a week ago and U-Haul was supposed to notify everyone. Didn't happen. Fortunately, the Wake Forest dealer was able to locate a nearby place to drop off.Michael H.

I made a reservation in advanced and got a confirmation back with my preferred date(july,31,2015) and time( 9:00a.m. ),BUT when the time came to pick up the U-Haul it was none available and I was sent to another town and still no u_haul.After some calling around and one was found and I went there I was told the girl was at Lowes getting her washing machine and to come back in 45 minutes. Later still no girl and after giving my phone number I got a call and was told she would be there at 2:00 pm.When I get there there it was a problem with the miles on the odometer that is on my receipt. So she re does another one.when I get to my place it is after 3:00p.m. Not the 9:00 a.m. reservation time. So since I didn't get the U-Haul in time to get packed out I had to pay a whole another months rent because I left Saturday morning instead of Friday . And the milelage was actually 134186 out instead of what the U-Haul renters said 134255 it was,but they allowed me extra miles to make up the difference . I assumed they used the U-Haul for personal moving "products" and passed the Buck to you(U-Haul) and me.So NO I am not a Happy mover, so is there anything for me to expect to be done?CURTIS B.

I had to wait for someone to come open up the shop. She was running 45 minutes late. It was not the best of experiences with a truck rental (late, syphoned gas, etc). I wouldn't recommend this location to a friend, or anyone else.Douglas R.
