Just a comment on question 2. The equipment was clean in all aspects, but the steering on the truck had a tremendous amount of play in the steering wheel it made driving the vehicle an adventure.DOUGLASS B.

Is this a joke? I am filing a Better Business Bureau complaint against Uhaul and this particular branch. I am also considering suing. It was that bad. It was so bad it was intentionally bad. Possibly criminal. Absolutely the worst experience, service, equipment, and treatment i have ever had. How does a company intentionally rent you a truck that they know will break down (and has broken down on three other people before you) and instead of repairing it, you squeeze in one last rental? Everything about this location is dirty and they don't give a damn about their customers. Uhaul corporate was horrible. Roadside assistance was a farce. Broken down on the side of the road and ignored by everyone at uhaul for over two hours. Have you ever been on hold so long that the god-awful music stops playing? Well, I have. When the tow truck finally arrived and they took us to the service center, which was closed, they left us there without any advisement, updates, or plans whatsoever. They even made me pay for a replacement truck the next day and were treating me like they were doing me a favor. Absolutely horrid. Never again.PHILIP W.
I am unhappy with uhaul (not danos detail, they were very nice and helpful). I was not moving far, so I made a reservation for a local pick up. Uhaul notified me the night before pickup that they moved my reservation 40 minutes away. It was very inconvenient and frustrating on an already stressful day of moving. I will not use uhaul ever again if I can help it.BRETT M.

Outstanding! Friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate me and my needs. I need a cargo van about 5 times a year for a several day trip of around 1,000 miles each and have been renting vans from Enterprise. This U-Haul location gave me a much better rate and better service with much more convenient pick up and drop off times. The day before picking u my 15' truck in Athens, GA I received a call telling me there wasn't a truck available. They wanted me to drive 30 min out of my to pick one up. I declined and asked about another location not out of the way. Turns out they had the 15' truck. Twenty mins before pick up the Jefferson location called to tell me they didn't have a truck that size. They ended up giving me a 20' truck that worked for me but the inside had litter from the previous renter. I feel it's bad business to make a reservation TWICE and still not the right truck. Also, calling the day before or twenty minutes before pick up is garbage. We were on a schedule. I will call Penske next time and have no desire to EVER use Uhaul again. Also, I have shared my experiences with friends and relatives so they won't be subjected to bad business dealings with your company. Complete "BS". Can't believe you do business like this.Stephen E.

I was scheduled to drop-off at a site suggested by the Uhaul web site. That place was closed for business as indicated by a sign in the window. The web site directed us to an even smaller and closed business. We finally located Danos Detail which was not a listed Uhaul location on the website. That lady was apologetic for the misinformation and treated us like welcomed, if unexpected guests.STEVEN M.

The staff at the location were awesome. Very friendly and accommodating. My one complaint is with the online check-in. It did not work at all. You need to ramp that up. The quick action of the staff at the location overcame the less than satisfactory online experience.MICHAEL T.

When someone reserves a truck. They don't want to drive all the way there to find out you rented the truck they reserved. Then make me drive way out of my way to get another truck. Then still charge me the same. I would of told you stick it if it was not to late to go to another company. Next time I will just not even use your crappie company. You told me you would give me extra miles and you didn't Then charged me 40 cent a mile for what you said you were gona give me for my trubles.NATHANIEL L.

First, the original location pick-up was changed. Then when we got there at 8:30AM, our scheduled pick up time, we tried to check in our phone and were told that we had to wait until they opened at 9AM. We tried calling the 1-800 number but waited on hold for at least 10 minutes. My husband then decided to upgrade to a larger truck, so that he could have a ramp, but was told that he HAD to return it to that location, which we wouldn't be back until Monday morning, leaving us to pay for 3 days of rental instead of 1. We received a call from the original drop off location on Saturday, because they apparently had no clue of the changes. It was all just very frustrating and confusing. I will go with a different company next time.Esteban D.

I rented a car dolly from here two seperate times. The first time I drove it to Lawrenceville, GA. and back and it only cost me roughly $65.00. The second time I rented a car dolly, I drove it to Gainesville, GA. and dropped it off at a location in Gainesville, but it cost me almost $100. I will not rent any equipment from here again if I don't have to.Tim P.

The interior of the truck was dirty and had an odor. Please clean your trucks. In addition to this issue, your computer system appeared to be malfunctioning when I requested a receipt for my return. I waited 10 minutes on a receipt.RODNEY C.
