I got a truck for$143 and some change somehow they took $210 off my card and put me in the negative so I'm out here at 230 in the morning trying to find somewhere to put money on my card because at 3 a.m. there going to charge me overdraft fees that I can't afford not very kool the drop off store was great but the pickup store not so muchGERALD B.

I called while on the road to ask if we could drop the car tow trailer off on the way into town before unloading the truck. I got voice mail, and said to my daughter who was in the truck with me that, "I doubt that I will hear back from them." Five minutes later I got a call back from the Dane's Auto representative. He was very helpful. He informed me that it was fine to drop off the trailer on the way into town and after hours. He was also very helpful when I dropped the truck off three days later.Patrick K.

Dane was extremely rude. My pickup was @ 10am I waited in the office for about 10 minutes and the went next door to his Auto repair business and the mechanics told me he was out in the lot somewhere and so I went out there to find him and I didn't see him so I went back into the office waited probably another 10 minutes so I went out and looked through all of the vehicles out there and found him and I said hello and he didn't say anything so I knocked on the window of the U-Haul truck he was in, he yelled I heard you I can't help you while I'm doing this I'll be with you when I'm done!! When he came to the office his attitude was the same. He was very rude and and disrespectful to me as a customer! He yelled at me again and was that way through the whole process of signing the contract until I left. If I didn't need the U-Haul to move my granddaughter I would have left that moment!! I would have said something to him but I needed the U-Haul and was afraid that he wouldn't rent it to me. I DO NOT recommend this location for U-Haul pickup!! I will never ever go there again! The U-Haul was filthy I couldn't see through the windshield it was covered with bugs and looked like it hadn't been washed in quite a while!! I rate this business a zero! He has a auto repair for shop next door if he treats his U-Haul customers this way I can't imagine how he treats his customers that come in to have their vehicle repaired!Wendy S.

Web site is not clear when changing a location because a particular vehicle is not at your choice of pickup locations. Should have a red flag stating the vehicle you have chosen is NOT available at your choice of location. Do you want to change your location to XXX which has the vehicle you want? Very frustrating to go where I thought I made the reservation but find out the web presence signed me up for a pickup 25 min away. Dean however offered me a different vehicle and had me on my way in no time!! I have rented from Dean before and will again!!KATHIE V.

When we were sitting down to pay for our rental, we asked the man at the front desk "how much would it be to rent the U-haul round trip vs. one way?" and he BIT OUR HEADS OFF. Very rude, embarrassing in front of other customers, and poor customer service. You do not want to cross paths with this guy. He bent over backwards when we dropped it off the next day to be nice, but too little, too late, damage was done. Never renting from this location ever again. You've been warned.AURORE M.

Our experience with the vendor was assume. Although this vendor walked us through the return process. Bring back truck, cleaned, gassed, park same location as picked up. After hours place keys in lock box. Which we did. We were surprised to receive the email with further return requirements. Which I didn't see until after we had already returned the vehicle. Being at location to send location of truck email. Taking picture of odometer sending that to uhaul. Picture of gas guage etc., other wise we would be charged an additional $20 convenience fee for basically doing your return verification duties. Clarification this email was from Uhaul not our vendor. For your info, we could have brought the truck back followed these instructions, then left again used the truck and gas and returned it with an empty gas tank and 100's of additional miles. And we would have been able to prove we had returned the truck earlier and claimed someone must have fished the keys from the lockbox and used the truck.LEE ANN M.

The owner was perfectly cordial and knew was he was about, but the trailer had clearly suffered some kind of accident and was tilted (and smelled like smoke inside). Ultimately, everything worked out, though, so my luck held out.Lauren S.

My reservation was made in early April for a UHaul on May 28. I was contacted 2 days prior to our move date that the size I requested would not be available and I would receive a 4 x 8 instead of 5 x 8. Two days was not enough time to make any other arrangements. Needless to say, moving my mom was a very stressful experience due to UHaul's logistical planning (or lack thereof). The information from my contract was unlegible when I tried to find out how much I was paying the guy was rude and obnoxious he wouldn't listen to what I had to say when I told him that the information he was sending me I couldn't read so I still don't know what my bill is I know I was overcharged I put more gas in the thing than it had in it I went under the miles that were estimated and I'm pretty sure I got charged a lot more than I should haveGeorge E.

Remote check-in was a little dicey but that's not necessarily the fault of this location. The key box was easy to access and key was there and available. When we returned it, the owner was actually there and helped us with the return.Rick K.

I checked in online just before picking up the rental truck. When I went to pick up the truck I had this exchange: Me: â€œI checked in online.â€ Rental Guy: â€œYou don't check in online.â€ Me: â€œI just did.â€ Rental Guy: â€œI need a credit card.â€ Me: (handing a card to him) â€œThis is the same one I used online.â€ Rental Guy: â€œDidn't your daddy tell you not to believe everything you read online?â€ Me: â€œI don't need life advice, I need a truck.â€ Rental Guy: â€œWell, I need a credit card.â€ Me: â€œand I gave you one. How many do you need?â€ I appreciate the truck being clean and ready to go on short notice. I don't appreciate the rude little know-it-all behind the desk at Dane's. Uhaul shouldn't be happy with him saying you can't believe the Uhaul website.Lee O.

My online reservation at J&B lost my truck and I was sent here. They could wiped the truck down in-between people better. It was kinda dirty in cab and blue liquid all over in back near attic area with a toy left behind in side rail. I kinda wiped it down before bringing it back which means obviously it was not sanitized for covid before my rental time.RACHELLE H.

1. The day before moving - on a very tight schedule - I learned I had to drive 80 miles R/T to pick up the trailer in spite of the fact I had reserved it 2 weeks in advance! 2. The trailer was COVERED with OIL! No attempt was made to clean it up. I had to spend $10.00 and 45 minutes at the car wash to even be able to put it in my driveway! It even DRIPPED OIL! 3.
