The rear cargo door to the box was sealed shut. I was unable to open it. Because of this I was unable to transport my cargo from my storage locker to my cabin. Making the entire rental and 4hour trip useless. I was only able to transport a small amount of what I needed to move. When returning to Dalton Mountain Motorsports to return rental the Uhaul employee named Richard was also unable to open the cargo door. He had to use a pry bar and force it open. He stated that they had to refund the last rental for the same problem. Why wasnt problem fixed before it was rented to me? This is inexcusable and a terrible way to conduct business. I should be refunded my rental payment for renting me damaged equipment and wasting my time. I want to speak to a supervisor immediately and rectify this situation. My phone number is 401-585-8288. Reserved a 26 foot truck. Got an email 2 days before my move and was told my 20 foot truck would be ready. When I called to find out why my reservation had been changed, I was told that â€œwe don't have any 26 foot trucks that far northâ€. It would have been nice to know this when I made my reservation.Bruce W.

Go to a different location. It took us an hour to get the trailer. The guys training just was not there and the other person was not in the mood to help him I guess. The place was not busy either. Than finally get trailer and the tires were really low on air. So now we had to wait longer. So it was very frustrating today. I would of thought they would do maintenance on it when they get them back so this don't happen. Or when I called went out to make sure it was there and ok to use have it ready to go when I got there. I guess that is what I would of done if I rented out a piece of equipment. Next time I'll go to the other location very unhappyRandy M.

To start off with going into sign up for a U-Haul truck took a bit of time. And then the next day when I went in to pick up the U-Haul truck took longer. I did not think it would take that long to sign up to get a U-Haul truck, like 15 minutes. Is that the norm? Other than that all went well it was a bigger truck than I wanted but I did not have a choice at the time, I was desperate.Laurette B.

You called me the day before I was to pick this up telling me I cannot have the truck I requested. Your alternatives were hour and a half away. The van was too small to take everything needed. It also cost me $100 more than what I was planning. The drop off process was not smooth.Dathan P.

After driving 35 miles away from where I was located we hooked the trailer to my vehicle and it immediately blew the fuse for the rear tail lights. The U-Haul rep and myself fooled with this to trouble shoot the issue. He backed his truck up to the trailer and same issue with lights blowing out. They decided that another trailer would need to be brought to me but not until 3:30 in the afternoon. so on time restraints drove back the 30 something miles began my packing then back to a location selected hooked up a new trailer. Still had no lights so was told by the same U-Haul Rep to take my truck to try and locate the bad fuse. Now this is well after to 4 in the afternoon. The nice folks at VIP troubleshooted the issue, found the fuse needed and after spending $60 dollars was back on the road with pretty much a whole day wasted.Steven J.

The equipment was clean. Trailer lights blew the running lights fuse in my truck twice. Used my equipment trailer the next day w/o an issue so I think it's your wiring. It is missing a â€œDâ€ ring for tie down on the right side. We secure our loads so that was problematic. 2 tires are substandard for the winter roads here. Tread at tge wear bars. Worst piece of equipment since the UHaul rental I had with a broken spring. Very disappointing. Not the location's fault. Happy HolidaysBryan K.
The staff was so very friendly. I would and will highly recommend anyone that needs to rent a Uhaul to do it here if they can. Very very clean atmosphere and the van I rented was wonderful.Susan N.

The whole experience was great. The only issue was when I dropped trailer off they were closed due to holiday. I tried to due the mobile drop off but it sent a verification code to my home email. I then tried from home but it asks to verify my location and of course I was not in the correct location. the sales associate at Dalton Mountain was awesome and very helpful.Brian G.

I had a bit of a run around on where the car transport was gonna be and tried to reserve one at the location they said it was gonna be at and then had to travel somewhere else to get it. I was charged $8 for insurance that I did not want. When I emailed Uhaul, they showed me that I signed for coverage which is not clear as to the line above it rejecting this service.Kevin S.
I was forced to use this location due to the fact that your Colebrook NH location didn't return a phone call messages. I ended up having to travel an extra 80 miles just for a 6.5 mile move! When I called to complain your reservation specialists didn't care, so my experience wasn't the greatest! Dalton Motorsports had nothing to do with this they were great to work with!CINDI B.

I had to stop every 2 hours and replace the ratchet straps that were supposed to hold the car on. They would loosen up. Once I stopped and both straps were completely off. After 3 days into the trip they started to hold. The trailer lights stopped working with 500 + miles to go. (I think that may have been the truck which was far worse than the trailer.) Her is a gem U-Haul wanted the trailer back 24 hours before the truck. How is that supposed to happen. I could figure out how to make the trailer arrive before the truck. Pay a little more for Penske it's worth itLester B.

Truck had snow and ice all over it. The wipers didn't work and there was no washer fluid in it. Also the parking lot was a dangerous sheet of ice that caused me to take a bad fall, hurting my back and left arm.Aaron F.
