No issues with the drop off. It was easy and quick, good location. I drove a little farther to drop off just like picking up because some of the dealers closer had questionable looking lots. This location was clean with plenty of room to park the truck.

Carol YeskeyLet them know not only will you be charges for gas but a lot of extra fees. Let customer know how many miles per gallon the truck can use so they know how much it takes to fill to the quarter tank line.

Aaron FrucciI've rented trucks & trailers from this place a lot past few months.. a deposit was held for trucks as normal but never for trailer.. just payed for the day. For some reason they decided charge me $60 for a 5x9 utility trailer for one day when it should of only been $18.95 for the day & $8 for insurance.. (they must be using that core math or something) but by my calculations that doesn't equal $60. I've disputed it with my bank but it can take up to 45 days for an answer so I guess I'm out my money until I hear from them

Matthew EdmondsWe appreciated the convenience of anytime pick up and drop off, but all of the sign-in, photos of drivers, odometer, and van cab etc was a bit over the top. This was required at both pick up and drop off. Overall a great experience.

I am ****EXTREMELY**** disappointed with the overall Uhaul reservation experience, and complete lack of customer ***service*** (from the 800 call center, the Indianapolis dispatch center and the location on Western Ave in South Bend. Clearly, customer care, service and satisfaction means NOTHING. The ****ONLY**** UHaul location I will ever deal with again (if needed) will be Dale’s. Otherwise I will refrain from using or recommending UHaul ever again.

Lori PetersenWell, have more trucks to choose to rent. The 26’ truck had 169,900 miles on it and it drove nice but the driver’s door was so badly damaged that it made a horrid noise and leaked air as well. The Manager at Dales Auto Service was wonderful to work with, and made renting the truck easy
DANIEL KIDDMy trunk was very dirty, there was food in the glove department. The wrong gas cap was also on. So the check engine light was on the entire 2020 mile ride. The truck rode horribly. The moving blankets were just thrown in the back of the truck. I believe I only saw maybe 6 there were no packages. I had a very horrible experience with Uhaul. I already had to travel 2 hours to get it for a horrible one way move. I’m not pleased at all.

tom gentileOur reservation was made online for truck pickup in Elkhart, IN. When we arrived, we were told that it had been changed to South Bend, IN. We never received notification of this change either by phone call, text or email. This was an hour+ travel time each way for us. Very disappointing. Thankfully, the man @ Dale’s was helpful. This change caused major delays and additional stress on an already trying day. Next time we’ll use Penske. Thx.

JACQUELYN TROEGERI was highly disappointed when I arrived to pick up my reserved 26’ truck (that I had done early check in on) to find they didn’t have a 26’ truck. The gentleman at the counter said if I reserved on line “that never works”. I was able to get the 20’ truck after waiting 25minutes on hold for uhaul customer service who didn’t care at all that my reservation was not reserved. In all this cost me an extra trip and a wasted hour by the time I finally got to my storage unit, where I had help waiting the entire time. Uhaul needs to take better care of their customers, I do not plan to ever return after this experience!
