Fast, equipment ready to go, great customer service

A big company that claims to support cleanliness and promote Covid-19 protocols, doenst have any protocols in place to clean the rental vehicles. There is spilt liquid all over the cabin of the uhaul where the driver sits. Nothing looked wiped down. There were multiple rings and dents to the uhaul that weren't marked that I had to take pictures of before driving the vehicle. The package I bought didn't even have enough miles to even go one way to the destination.

Michael A. | Overall ExperienceI didn't even know they were there but somebody told me about it and it was very helpful. I would make the suggestion to park one or two trucks out in front of the storage units by the highway so people going by can see them.
HAL G.The tank of gas was not full (about 3/4) when we picked it up and we drove the truck 20 miles. We got back tired and late and did not put gas in it. We were charged $50 dollars for 9 gallons of gas which seems unreasonable excessive. while this is probably policy, there is not a chance we went through 9 gallons in a mere 20 miles and it is a rip-off to charge your customers that kind of extra fee.

Mike W.The truck was dirty inside which wasn't a huge deal but not ideal. I was told a lot of times the equipment like appliance dollys you order aren't actually available on site. Thank god after 30 minutes they finally found one but it made me late. My big complaint is they had my price right and it was showing pending for that amount in my bank account. Then it was CHANGED to add an extra day which I only had it for a few hours. She promised me a refund which I have not received and uhaul has an hour wait time which I can't do because I'm working. I just want my money back for the day I did not even have the truck in my possession. Take the drive to Spokane to get your truck even if you live in Deer Park. I just want my money back.
Katie S.On several occasions the gate was not opened on time. Not by 5 minutes but by several hours. On the last time it happened to me it was literally two hours late to be opened. When I talked to the staff they first blamed the frost, which could be a plausible excuse if they haven't been several hours late in July! They were rude when confronted and had the audacity to ask "what do you want me to do about it?". Oh I don't know how about open the gate! There should be a timer or something along with responsible people working there. There should be no excuse when the gate is supposed to be opened at 7 am and the folks who run it live on site.

ROBIN K.I had to travel 1.5 hrs. from Rathdrum, ID to pick up this unit. I could not believe that the 5 or 6 U-Haul site around Post Falls, ID did not have this unit. Oh well it worked out as I was able to drop off at Rathdrum, ID.

Richard U.I never got an email saying where to get the truck so went for get it on Division. We were told to go out Geiger rd to get the truck. When arrived, no truck & placed locked up. Tried to call the # on the form got the run around from the stupid computer & was on hold. Got more angry, hung up & drove back, got told we had to go 20 miles North to Davenport to get the truck without so much of an "lm sorry". The woman in Davenport knew what she was doing and had us on our way with out a problem, avan while training a new person in the process. The staff at Division and u.haul in general should care more about customer service than sales. More useless emails cluttering up my phone an none that were helpful. I have moved many times over the years with uhaul never had such a bad experience.
HOMER T.Not yesterday, but a few months ago my daughter had rented a van 2 weeks in advance from U-haul witch was literally right across the street. Uhaul called the night before pickup and told us we had to pick it up at a location 20 miles and a 1 1/2 hour trip later we had our Uhaul. If that ever happens again I will no longer be a Uhaul costomer.

ROGER O. | Overall ExperiencePerson accidentally canceled our truck so when we arrived it wasn't there, the auto hauler we rented we had to go puck up because that also wasn't there, then the truck had transmission problems all the way to our destination. Then when we returned it they tried to charge us more money because he said we went over on our mileage when we didn't. We purchased unlimited miles! So it made an already stressful experience more stressful!
Harry F.Equipment was clean; however, the ratchets were difficult to operate due to dryness. In my opinion the ratchet mechanism could use some lubricant. I suggested this when I dropped the trailer off and trust it will be taken care off.
John G.I was charged for 9 gallons of fuel for 17 miles of use. I call that theft. I am trying to reach the staff at the Deer Park, WA location. Staff could not explain this and promised to call back. No one called back and their voice message box is full. Completely unacceptable.

Peter H.Back of truck not swept out, cab floor not swept out. Not that bad but the point is we are to sweep out the truck clean when we return the rentals and fill the gas back up to the vary spot that someone else left us. The truck should be full at all times. That is why you charge more money to the renter if they do not. Your to fill it up for the next renter to have paid for it. This is another way to rip us off for more money. Your app does not work. Your bar code sends me to other palaces. Customer service takes 17+ minutes to be on hold to answer then to loose connection on hold for the other guy. To have to call again to be on hold for another 18minutes. All because the store manager could not be a help and your app sucks. Not happy at all. Why tell people to go her is because it's closer then spokane to pay the extra miles and gas to you guys. Not for customer service.
