Took me over an hour to get the truck on a Sunday. The pick-up location was changed, the app didn't work, waited almost half an hour on hold to get help, combination to lock box with key eas wrong.

Gerald Sagonathe right tail light was not working, the tail gate was sprung. The owner of the shop Mike, was rude and very disrespectful. I have no intention of returning to his shop.
TERRY SOLTOWThe trailer we ended up getting was not what we reserved. We reserved a motorcycle trailer. We ended up getting a 5x9 trailer. Much bigger and heavier. If there’s a next time, I’m hoping we get the trailer we wanted. We waisted much more fuel than expected. Or at least a phone call to give us a choice to consider a plan B.

DAVID KRAAZI was scheduled to get the trailer at 420 Fairview St, Belvidere, IL 61008. I thank God I was aggressive and kept trying to call the other location. I reserved a trailer for an appointment. The other location never returned my call. Come to find out they were closed for the week. So, I had to scramble to find another location. When I brought up the $50.00 Guarantee to the national customer service rep, I was transferred to a local customer rep, that guy was so confused I just hung up on him and went back to the national customer service rep. She stated that they will put a note into the system. Don't know if I will ever see the guarantee but based on the way this was handle I would not count on it.

Andrew PrzybylskiOwner was not on the premises during regular business hours. The doors were locked and there was no key or contract in the 24 hour pickup locker. They also have very short regular business hours and poor customer service
DENNIS RUEDELThe truck was just older, smelly and dirty inside. It was a huge save though after Snyder’s did NOT have our set up ready for the 24/7 pick up, and put us an hour behind schedule. I think they should have been held accountable and given us a portion of our rental back.

Ronald ParisAlthough the truck and location were good, this is not the location from where I reserved the truck. Was a little dismayed to find I had to pick up the truck from an entirely different location.
ronald rickWe were happy with the truck and it met our needs very well. When we returned the truck Mike Curry said he did not have time to check us out. He told us he would do it later and send us the receipt via e-mail. When we received the receipt, we noticed the return mileage was not correct. We did not check the return mileage ourselves but had our Google Maps mileage. Google Maps indicated mileage of 28.8. according to the route we took. The receipt shows 58 miles. We called Mr. Curry and his response was, "It is what it is". I told him I thought the truck's mileage calibration may be off. He said, It's a new truck. I told him our Google Maps mileage and he told me, Google Maps are usually wrong, Maybe but not 20 miles off. He told me he would check the return mileage and call me back. That was yesterday afternoon and I haven't heard from him today. Also, our return time on the receipt was an hour later than actual. Obviously, we will not use his service again.

Ronald ParisThe man was miserable and unhelpful. I regularly haul a horse trailer. I checked out my electrical connection, before we left home. He couldn’t get the lights to work on trailer. He told us the ball on the truck was not grounding??? He told us to leave with it and maybe they would come on. We took it to the nearest auto parts store ( which he did not suggest). They helped us with a different plug.

Jalee PooreWe rented this unit at 2:30pm and didn't even have it for a full 2 days and the guy where we rented it is calling us telling us we needed to bring it back cause he had someone else that needed to rent it. And at 11am on the 2nd day 2hrs after he called he ran our credit card for another day and day 2 was not even up yet so we kept using it for another day. He was very pissed at us. So we had it back at 8:45 in the morning on the 3rd day. 7hrs before we needed to return it due to when we checked it out. And still got charged for the entire day of use. Kinda messed up that we have to pay the entire day when he re-rented it out to someone else and double rented it when we already had the unit. We feel like we got taken advantage of.
Frank VollmannWalked in and drove away 10 minutes later. The cargo van was the perfect size to move a 85 inch tv and a fireplace entertainment console from the store to home. Returned the van within 2 hours from picking it up. Worked better than hauling them in my pickup truck.

lynn mitchellThe place is a hole in the wall junkyard. The owner is a complete Ahole and the office smelled like booze and cigarettes. I will never rent from them again. Ever. He charged me 2 days for a 1 day rental because he was closed when I returned it which was 24 hours later. He argued with me on Sunday which was his day off and the contact number happened to be his cell. He told me he would call me Monday and hung up on me. He didn't so I called him back. And he said he was busy and hung up on me again. Then called me back and was a complete jerk and gave me the refund of the 2nd day and lectured me.

David GeeIt is not this location it is UHaul as a whole. Originally scheduled to pick up a truck right near our house only to find out the day before I would need to go to another location 15 minutes away. Fine I can deal with that. Go to the other location and show up on time the day of pickup and they do not have a truck on site to rent. I have a reservation, what’s the point if you don’t have the truck there. So I am sent them another 15 minutes back the other way to the closest location to get a truck. This is two straight bad experiences with uhaul and will not be going back. Get your crap together!!!
