Staff was super helpful! The other local uhaul provider gave our reservation to another person, so we were very thankful for the kind staff at Croteau's ability to help us on such short notice.

How about not having to scan my driver's licence every time? I've rented 5 times from U-Haul in the last several months. Every time, they ask for my license even though I haven't moved. Seems to me, you should already have an image of my license.

It really isn't the locations fault....but every time I have gone there to rent...there was always a problem with the system...either they didn't take a credit card (which was fully valid) or the computer would spit out info stating that there is no such thing as a 7500lb trailer hitch on my truck & it even has got to the point where she had to go in the back on the phone & apparently treat me as a "walk in" ....& even that took a while to go thru! Please supply this business a better computer system or please make a personal visit to them to see what is going on & see for yourself...Note: these are good people that shouldn't have to apologize 50 times a day on behalf of u-haul! Mrs. Croteau was very nice. She took it upon herself to call me. As the receiving dealer, she had no idea what kind of condition the truck was in, as no one in Worcester had bothered to document/update anything! I had to tell her the truck was already damaged, delivered dirty, with only 3/4 tank of gas. It’s not fair to them or me!!

I forgot to grab the dolly, but other than that mistake of my own, everything about my experience with this U Haul location, the staff, and the truck, was great. Moving is miserable so having the truck rental go smoothly made a big difference. I won’t rent anywhere else from now on, highly recommend.

Joy or Joyce?? She was a pleasure to deal with. Location a bit out of the way cost a few extra in gas. Online check in/out could be quicker

I had reservations for an 6x12 trailer. I Was told it was ready for pick up. When I went to pick it up all that wAs available was a 5x8 trailer. This was very inconvenient and unacceptable. The trailer was way to small but I had no choice but to you it. I was not compensated for the error made by uhaul

Give weekend moving rates. Realistically it takes three days to move a household if you are doing it on your own. Next time I may look into hiring a private mover because I think it would have cost the same amount had I done so.

This location is not open on Sundays but I was glad there was one so close to my destination in such a rural area. I used the drop box and UHaul share site to complete returning my vehicle which worked fine.

No issues with location on either pickup or drop off. I checked online to see what I could expect the cost to be for the equipment I was securing and to streamline our rental experience. Once I arrived at the pickup location I ended up waiting 2 hours due to a "computer glitch" And, then I was given a receipt that indicated a cost of about $150 more than I expected. While attempting to reconcile our situation with a manager, I was told that a "computer glitch" which indicated a lower price did not warrant a refund or reduction in our rental. Eventually, the issue was ironed out, but I did not care for the way in which the situation was handled.

After UHaul called and informed me that the trailer I reserved was over an hour away from the location I had selected and told me that this was the only place to get it, I called Croteau Auto parts to change the reservation. They stayed open an extra 2.5 hours past their normal close time on a Saturday in order to allow me to get this trailer. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

They were not there when I dropped off the uhaul truck. The drop off areas were not plowed when I dropped off the uhaul truck I almost got stuck in the parking area for the uhaul drop off. Jane B.

The regional dispatching system appears to be more interested in running up the rental price for U-Haul than providing the best customer service. I requested a pickup location at Auto Outfitters in Derby, VT but was told I had to pick up in Orleans, VT instead. In the morning of use I drove by Auto Outfitters and saw at least 5 trucks in their yard (unused). In the early afternoon after completing our move, I drove by again and still saw at least 4 trucks there. It appears to me that you work harder at running up the price than taking care of the customer.

I was very satisfied as well as assisted to the fullest. My experience with Bob and Joyce reminded me of the virtues and values of old. The only thing(in my opinion) these people can't(not won't...lol)do is drive the vehicle for You...?? I would recomend ANYONE in need of UHAUL and other QUALITY SERVICE. Give these wonderful treasures of our northeast community Your business, because, they'll give You their's . They been for 70+yrs... Enjoy!!!

The business was late on arrival. The U haul was not warm and was covered in ice. We returned it with a quarter tank of gas and were told we would not be charged for fuel yet we were. We were asked to return the dolly that we rented prior to the 24 hour contract and ultimately didn’t need to rent a dolly had we known there was one in the u haul.

I have rented a number of U-Hauls over the years from various locations and I must say in all honesty that the best experience I've had was this last one. No improvements are necessary; these folks are doing everything *right*!

The truck was junk, the tires were bald, so bad that it got stuck on flat ground with 1 inch of snow. The truck never should have been rented in that condition.

Dealt directly with the owners. Received a phone call from them the day before indicating that the desired car hauler wasn't available, and a tow dolly was. Called ahead of pickup and informed the expected truck was unavailable. They did everything they could to locate the reserved truck. The lack of the correct equipment being available was due to issues with corporate level scheduling. Extremely disappointed with the corporate level, the truck I was scheduled to have wasn't available due to their incorrect scheduling.

I don't know why we got a cleaning fee. Literally the only thing that stepped into that truck was my shoes. When we picked the truck up it SMELLED LIKE PEE so I wouldn't be surprised if that is why we received an extra $25 bill.... thanks a lot!

the managers were not very friendly to very informative and after I brought the truck back cleaner then I even got it they charged me a $25 cleaning fee and when I said something about the charge they told me it wasn't them that it was Uhaul and that I should call Uhaul ! the people were jerks and liars just plain crooks trying to pull a fast buck . no I would never recommend them to anyone not even someone I didnt like

The U-haul was clean n great supplies were available. I was concerned that the transmission was a problem though in this truck, because upon braking on hills I heard terrible straining sounds like it wasn’t staying in gear. Perhaps it needed transmission fluid ? I mentioned it to the proprietors of the garage and they appeared to take note of this problem, I hope it’s attended to because people unfamiliar with driving a truck might assume those kind of sounds are normal.

Make the ride 24/7 easier. It was stupid! And made it difficult to rent a truck. If it wasnt for the woman in the office I would not of been able to rent the truck since uhaul changed my place if pick up. And when I looked online to rent the miles were supposed to be .79 not .99. I put this one my return truck but clearly no one has contacted me! So this is wrong!

Get a better system for logging in ! . I did most of the paper work on line, and still had too redo the work at the station . It took more time than i would have liked. the people at the station was very kind . I would do this again but skip the on line service.

Guy was friendly but extremely obsessive about the cleanliness of the truck. Down to dust on the dashboard he wanted me to wipe off. The dust was there when I picked it up. Said I would be charged $25 if i didn't clean it to his specifications. Other than that he was friendly.
