The people at this location doesn't handle the return,they call someone and you have to do the return over the phone you have to get the mileage,gas readings for them.

The man who was in charge of the trucks seemed like he didn’t have time to check the truck out. He didn’t even know how to open/close the back door. The blankets in the back were on the humps of the truck, and had not been swept out. Now, I am being charged for the owners mistake. I thought that is where the blankets needed to go so that is where I put them. The truck has been swept out. NOW!!!

We reserved our truck for self pickup. There was an issue with the check in process. It took over an hour and a half past my reservation time & 2 calls to uhaul to actually have the truck dispatched. The station attendant had the key the whole time, but wouldn't help us until he received a call from the station owner, but the station owner was unreachable despite multiple attempts. Finally, after speaking to the regional reservation manager, he called the station attendant and had the truck dispatched. However, it bypassed the check in process so I filled the tank with gas & was charged extra for mileage.

It was further than I had anticipated. They didn’t have the utility dolly I needed. The man was very nice though. When I did all this on-line, I still had to call someone to confirm. When I called, I kept getting transferred to the wrong people; one time it was to a location in Virginia & I am in Birmingham, Al. The lady couldn’t even hear me, I was literally screaming in my phone just so she could hear!!! Very frustrating.

The person on duty had to call another person to figure out what to do and nobody had a clue. I unhooked the trailer and pushed it next to another trailer. No paperwork was exchanged. The location seemed like it was in a bad location as every building opening was barred.

First of all, we reserved a 10 foot truck to be picked up at the Counterpoint location at 11:00 On Saturday. When we arrived at the location, they informed us that they did not have a truck available and rerouted us to another location that was approximately 20 miles from the reserved location. When we arrived at the rerouted location, they did in fact have a truck. However, the truck was extremely nasty with cigarette butts, burnt paper, and muddy seats (driver and passenger seats), muddy floors both sides. We had to go in the Uhaul place and borrow paper towels and spray to clean the seats before we could even get in the truck.

I wanted to pick up at a Uhaul facility, this was an old conveince store in the middle of nowhere in back woods of AL. No hand truck or packing supplies I needed. I don't know why I was sent there instead of a Uhaul facility.

Unmanned location if I hadn't know how to use a trailer it would have been impossible to hook up alone. The other stores that are manned generally help you get set up. Make sure the equip is good before you leave.

The service "professional" who helped me was extremely rude, unprofessional, and demonstrated poor customer service and assistance. He showed a lack of concern for the customers continued business and demonstrated inappropriate, crude, and disrespectful showmanship. I am not the type to generally file these reports but such unprofessionalism cannot be tolerated and should not go un-noted. My initial response was to file a complaint but I figured this review would suffice in the interim. I would recommend immediate disciplinary action or retraining the employee to understand quality customer service and general courtesy.

I was provided the wrong address on the reservation. It led me to an abandoned building that looked like it would collapse on me. When I called the number provided I was led to a different building not all much better. It wreaked of cigarettes. The guy couldn't care less of the direction issues, stating "not my problem. I don't care really". The man was argumentative short and rude. What a horrible representative of uhaul even worse a human being.
