The location was fine - it is corporate policy that causes me to NEVER recommend Uhaul. You upload a photo of my drivers license? What happens to it? how long is stored? I will NEVER rent from you again - way to invasive. I have no idea if this is industry practice but I will be lodging a complaint with the privacy commissions of both Alberta and Canada. If had a choice, I would have walked away!!!! NEVER again.George M.

Not all trailer size are avalaible there , n they only have one unit for rent. So many time cannot get the trailer I need . I think they should have more trailer there at least one kind each .Che K.

The trailer should secure the trailer light extension as after rented noticed that there is non avaible on the trailer nor the shop. It should be attached to the trailer so people cannot steal it or reenter should return it back to the store every time used or after rental. Plus I cannot return it after hour as there is no secure place or lock provided me to leave it overnight if I can return earlier before the night...I dont want to risk someone stole it even returned to ur lot that night n I m responsible for it so I have to haul a empty trailer home n back next day. It's time consuming...I think ur trailer should provide the renter to lock up when its parked or return when after store hour return. GraciasChe K.

Please make your online booking more accurate. If during month ends, you do not rent out for more than 6-8 hours have it mentioned it on the website, or incorporate that into the booking/reservation system. It is not a good experience, when we see something booked online, but then we get a call/email that either the timings or the location has been changed.Faisal V.

We went there without booking a truck online, and waited for an hour in the line only to find out that we had to do make a reservation online. We asked them to lend us a truck now and make the reservation there and yet they refused, making an excuse "there aren't any available". We then started driving home, and then my daughter found out that they had a truck available in ten minutes. We had no problem getting the truck but just remember to book online beforehand to avoid all of this! (Also, we looked on their website the night before and they did not have the truck available then)Harlakhbir S.
The agent at this location was excellent. He was very cheerful and helpful and quick! I even heard him on the phone dealing with a customer who was upset about something but he was so kind and helpful and worked to fix whatever the issue was with patience and understanding. The car dolly we rented had tires on it that were completely unsafe. This was for a long haul trip from Calgary to Vancouver. One of the tires was in such poor condition it was unsafe to even touch. As the driver I did inspect the tires but did not roll them 360 degrees as this level of damage was far far far beyond regular maintenance. I believe we had an angel on our shoulders as I notice this some 600 km into our journey before loosing the tire, on the car trailer, behind a 20' uhaul mover in the mountains. The hole was over 2â€ in diameter in the tire. The steel belts were split and completely gone. This was terrible. Further to this the roadside assistance did support, however contacted myself referencing the repair shop, mistaking that she was contacting the repair shop instead of me the customer. Her candle and communication was poor customer service. Eventually we were able to get the repairs and return to the road.Gavin C.

Drivers window on truck stuck halfway. So unfair to get a truck with 3/4 full tank, you know there's no way I can return it like that, either I get screwed for not enough gas, or I gift you 10 litres for free. Van was quoted as $19.95 per day. KM were 180 x .59 I delivered the van clean. I was charged $ 218 bucks which included a $25 dollar cleaning charge. Why did the price increase?Nathalie C.

Show up on time to open your store for service. Had a 8am pickup booked and the guy running it wasn't even there by 8am. Truck I rented stunk from cigarettes. Nasty to put up with all day long. Needed to use the washroom at this location; had to take toilet paper from the counter guy to use in their bathroom, but decided not to anyway because the bathroom was disgusting dirty.Carlo P.

The service station is ABSOULETYL FILTY. Garbage cans over flowing, dust, dirt, cobwebs on every shelf, empty product boxes filled the shelves.. No toilet paper in washrooms, Needs major cleaning, gross!! 1 person trying to do too many jobs, fill propane tanks, sell smokes and lottery tickets, U-Haul rentals, clients pumping gas. Took forever to get the booking done. No wiring harness, attendant had to go looking for one. other people lined up for rentals. Disorganized MESS. No hand sanitized after having to sign contract with a dirty, grimy pen. Attendant was in such a rush everything was "sign here, here and here". No examination of the trailer, no real discussion of insurance, tried to say our now policy and rider wouldn't cover any damage. Which is 100% false as All State said we were 100% covered. Wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.Mary H.

Sign out of the truck at the location took too long as there was only one attendant serving 3 or 4 customers. The location should have a dedicated agent for u-haul rentals. Otherwise, either the whole process should be online or the whole process should be at the location.Heather Q.

Hello, I would like to advise about our latest unsatisfactory experience with U-Haul Calgary and request refund for our expenses. We rented a truck on May 30 for 2 days (contract no 93081378, dispatching location 21252). During the move we were stuck as the gear did not switch and we could not get it moving. My husband tried to move it for the hour, until it finally did, which caused our movers to stay and get paid for extra hour, as long inconvenience for the new homeowners, as they could not get to the house. After that the truck was stuck again, we had to wait until midnight for a technician to come, and were woken up several times during the night (as late as 3 am) to give keys to get it evacuated. The level of stress and sleepless night caused missing day at work for both me and my husband. Nevertheless no discount or cancellation of the payment were offered to us for the all inconvenience caused. And we definitely expected that as loyal customers and thought we could rely on U-Haul and quality of your services in such stressful times as moving to a new house. I booked Uhaul through online portal and later an executive called me to say that the vehicle is not available at that time and location at which i booked. It cost me extra money to take vehicle from different location. The Uhaul was very ill maintained and made terrible sound like it was without a silencer. People literally looked at me throughout the roads. When i told about this issue to the dealer at the above location, he was least bothered even to listen to what i was saying, least about solving the issue.
