Truck smelled like cigarettes ashtray was still full of Ashes definitely needed to be cleaned are use Clorox wipes on the steering wheel and it was so black that I can guarantee the truck was not sterilized in today's Covid protocols

Not this locations fault at all but with U-Haul in general. Scheduled a 15 ft truck in advance for 24 hours (just in case for overnight). Did try to pick up a bit early and couldn't which I completely understood as it was scheduled for 1:30. Come back about an hour later for my reservation time only to be told the person hasn't brought the truck back and we are on a time crunch. Had to be transferred to another location to quickly get things done within two hours and bring back before closing. As we needed the washer and dryer out today, we had no choice but to quickly rush and get things done with just myself and my boyfriend. The other 2 people helping quit cause they could only do it around 2 pm. Now I have a swollen foot and my boyfriend has a broken finger since the washer fell. The Crest location did absolutely great with accommodating this cluster fuck.

Customer service at this location was very unhelpful and refused to address my problem. The fuel gauge on the truck that I rented did not work. I rented the truck with 11/16 of fuel, and used down to half a tank. As I attempted to refill the truck, the gas gauge never rose. The gentleman documented that I was at half a tank plus slightly more, however I have a receipt showing that I put 17.5 gallons in the car. The truck is completely filled up however the gas gauge shows that I'm just slightly above a half of a tank. The gentleman at the customer location refused to give me a refund, and refused to admit if there was anything wrong with the gauge, even after his helper documented that the gauge was reading half of a tank and I had a receipt showing that I put 17.5 gallons, he refused to help me. At this point I want to file a formal complaint and request a refund because of the experience. I would like to speak with someone further about the situation, and I want an immediate refund based on the fuel amount that I added to the vehicle . I can be reached at 469â€"4 96â€"1251.

Overall, I really like this location because both managers well very hospitable. They both had excellent customer service skills, they were polite and friendly! I love great customer service and these two had it! I was even given a credit because I didn't need or use the appliance dolly! Wow, way to go Crest Self Storage on West Round Grove in LEWISVILLE! I GIVE THE TWO THUMBS UP AND 5 STARS IF I COULD. The truck was a little dirty in the cab but I believe they just did have time to clean it from the last person because I just walked in. Other than that, everything was great! I would recommend this location for renting your UHAUL needs. Thank you and God Bless Crest and Texas!

Contract: 24935751 I rented a truck with a 1/2 tank, but in the contract that I received later by email, it was 15/16. I drove just 17 miles and during my return, I was forced to fuel it to full. So instead of 2 gallons that I really used, I fuel 12. I have scanned the receipt from a gas station.

Cindy and the gentleman assisting her were great. Polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. The truck had been damaged by the previous customer and this was pointed out and apologies were made. This was the only 26footer available so I accepted it as is.

Returning rental equipment keys off business hours was not clear. I have waited a while to connect to customer service to determine what to do next. Customer care advised me to return the keys next day but the store is closed on Sunday, I still have to go again to return the key. It could have been better if instructions are clear

Rented both truck and dolly from this location and had confirmation. Upon picking up truck and asking for dolly, I was informed this site didnt have one available and that I could call another location to pick one up. Why is it MY responsibility to call/locate a dolly from another dealer when I have a confirmation stating it is here waiting for me. NOT optimal customer service experience.

The Ratchets on the car trailer are a pain. They did not want to loosen the straps when released. I had to fight it for 15 minutes to get the straps loose enough to load the car and get the straps over the front tires. I've driven flatbeds for 20+ years so I know how they're supposed to work. Bad design.

The ramp on the truck we rented was hard to get in and out... took a lot of our time... the movers we hired through you guys did not show up on time and I had to move heavy furniture 5 weeks postpartum c section... because they did not show up for the time we scheduled... we said 10am and they said they would be there between 10 and 1... they met us at the second location at 11:55... we're done by 12:30 and we still had to pay to have them 4 hours as scheduled even though they helped for less than 1 hour.....

I received great service from the lady that helped me when I picked up the van. I could not get the U-haul app to work for pickup or return due to the fact it couldn't determine my location. There should be a way to manually input your location. I dropped the keys in the box and she checked it in for me when they opened the next morning. All in all it went great for me and the van worked perfectly. If I need it again I will definitely remember this location. Thanks, Jeff

I don't have any reason not to recommend it but i would suggest they make the night drop box more prominent...They had it attached to their general mail box and i returned it at night. Its not visible nor is it close to where you would park the car to leave it overnight. Thankfully they didnt charge me for an extra day, but it was a pain point
