Make sure they turn in the returns on the equipment. I was called and asked about the trailer over a week after I turned it in. I turned it in on a Sunday so no one was there but I called the next day and she said she would send the number on the hauler in. Guess not. But overall it was a good experience. I did recommend you all to a friend

The condition of the place was not good. Especially the parking area was dirt and full of mud holes and tall grass.

These people were great. I originally had pre paid pre checked in for pickup at C &H variety on highway 84 They never showed up and the phone number on the shack was unable to even leave a message on as it was full C & H was a dump this place does not need to be a UHaul dealer. If it had not been for the kind folks at Covington computers I would have paid moving helpers for nothing.

Originally scheduled to pickup at C & H Variety at 9:00. The trailer was not there and no one answered the phone, even the day before. I Called u-haul and they moved me to Covington Computer. they had the size I needed and were very helpful.

Phone service for this location is sketchy. App didn’t work. Couldn’t detect my location. After waiting on the phone for 15 minutes to actually speak with someone in 97° temperature, I would t recommend U-haul to my worst enemy. I was charged an additional $90 plus $17 because no trucks were available in my area. NEVER AGAIN will I ever rent a U-haul again!

Actual person to person transaction would be awesome! The location doesn’t have the best phone service and couldn’t detect my location. After a 15 minute wait on the phone in 97° temperature, I wasn’t satisfied at all!

Covington Computers was an excellent drop off location. Very friendly and efficient. The previous drop off location C&H Variety was however the worst part of my rental. Nobody was at the location and when I called the number I was told to just leave the trailer and they would email me my receipt. This was not ok with me and I told them I would call uhaul to find another location. I was told by the C&H representative that all the other locations in the area were closed. This proved to be a falsehood and that is something that cannot be tolerated.

I did not see where I had a limit on miles to drive. I left more gas than I was given and was still charged $0.70 for going “1.7 miles extra.” It seems like it would cost more to charge that $0.70 anyway.

This might have been the most unprofessional pick-up I have had to deal with while moving. I was able to make a reservation for a truck online before I arrived. I selected to not do self-check because I did not wish to transmit my credit card information through the uhaul app. However, when I arrived at the location, there was a note on the door that said the company had moved next door. When I walked next door, there was a note that said that the proprietor was not there regularly and to call his personal cell. I called the cell phone number, and the proprietor told me he was out of town for the weekend. He then began telling me to "just go online and follow the steps", to which I had no idea what he was referring to. I feel like, first, that if a person is going to manage any company, the person should be reasonably available. I should not have to go to one location to have to walk to another location to find out I have to call a phone number, just to speak with the person I want to do business with. Second, when I placed my online reservation, the proprietor should have either set his store in such a way that I could not have chosen the "pay when you get there option" or once my reservation was placed, that the proprietor at least make an effort to contact me to let me know that option was not available. However, because of this proprietor was either unorganized or inattentive, I was caused to be delayed over an hour in renting a truck. I called the uhaul customer service line and drove to the second uhaul location in Andalusia. This location did not have any trucks to rent. After twenty minutes of waiting on the phone, I was patched through to Linda. Linda was awesome and did everything in her power to help me. Linda was perfect. (I started this paragraph just so I could dote on Linda) Unfortunately, my only option was to proceed in the self-checkout mode where I had to not only transmit my credit card information, but I also have to send pictures of my id and myself. In times where data is constantly compromised, I prefer to do things in person. Because of the actions/inactions of the proprietor of this location, I was forced to do business in a manner I avoid at all cost, and I was delayed in starting my trip for over an hour. I have already begun telling and will continue to tell people in Andalusia and surrounding areas not to use this location.

Make sure the person is allowed to see the inside of the truck instead of relying on the feet of the truck. I think I could have used a smaller truck.
